This review is about the service center at GMC. We had our breaks replaced on our 2018 Yukon by the service center. First, they told us they would be completed Friday but we did not receive our car back until the next Monday. Yes, that was inconvenient but not the worst part. We are patient people and know this happens sometimes.

Not long after I got my 2018 Yukon back I started hearing a rattling sound in the area of the rear drivers side tire. It was slight at first but got worse when I would drive on bumps. Over a few days I would hear it getting louder. At the final point of the situation I had to take a dirt road. The rattling was so bad I did not feel safe driving over 10 mph. When I reached my destination my husband took the tire off and found the break completely loose. One bolt was missing and the other was close to coming completely off. Thankfully we were able to get a bolt replacement. I don't know if the other bolt was never put on or if it was so loose it came off.

I made an appointment with GMC to have everything checked to make sure no breaks were loose. They wanted me to come in 3 days later and keep the car all day. I was very frustrated by this time and frankly didn't trust them. For safety my breaks needed to looked at sooner. I took my car into Les Schwab the next day and they made sure everything was tight. I was able to leave with my car in a half hour. To say the least this was a scary experience.

Dave and Alex were awesome! I grew up friends with a less than honest car dealership owner. Dave and Alex walked me through each step. I never, never felt any pressure. Just complete, honest information. When I was ready to trust the process I moved forward without any trepidation! So easy!
I was out of state, Dave picked me up from the airport and took care of my family and I until the process was complete. I will come back to Dennis Dillon for my next vehicle no matter where I live!

Adan Chavez is the best sales guy I have ever deal...

Adan Chavez is the best sales guy I have ever dealt with and Benito in finance did an amazing job as well. Kudos for both for staying late and getting our deal finalized. We appreciate your help and hospitality as we traveled from Washington state and had some rough stormy weather on the way into town. One area of improvement would be to find a way to expedite buying process. 5 hours was harsh on our 9 hour round trip.

Salesperson, Cesar was great to work with
Just a great person as he went beyond expectations to make sure my sale was completed. This dealership is lucky to have this person in their employment. He spent all the time necessary for me to understand all the newer technology along with all other functionality of the new truck. He takes pride in the vehicle he is selling and wanted to make sure I was satisfied with everything before leaving the lot. He answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable with the answers. Again, great guy thank you.

I just purchased a 2021 GMC Sierra Elevation from Dennis Dillon and I couldn t be happier with the experience. My salesperson, Josh Holland was honest and straightforward, unusual in this field and greatly appreciated. They put their best price forward and treated me fairly on my trade in. The folks in the accessories department are also to be commended, they are fair and true to their word. I ve purchased many vehicles (too many some might say) and this dealership is kind of a throwback to earlier times. The experience was actually enjoyable, not stressful as with other dealerships. If you re looking for a vehicle in this crazy market, I would recommend you contact Josh at Dennis Dillon GMC, he will treat you fairly and with respect!

I purchased my 2021 GMC 1500 Sierra Denali and it was the best buying experience because our sales person, Ridge, was fantastic. The whole team at Dennis Dillon were incredible because they stayed 2 hours after closing and even bought dinner for my family as we waited to finalize the deal. Everyone at Dennis Dillon were extremely professional and personable. Again, it was a great experience and I am now the PROUD owner of the best truck I ever owned. Thank you gentlemen!!

Recently had an issue with my truck after having it serviced at another business. Truck was taken to Dennis Dillon to fix what someone else broke. Sam was fantastic in the service department. Very much appreciate getting it serviced faster than anticipated. With how crazy the world is it s nice to do business with a company that exceeds your expectations.

We were on a very tight schedule while pulling an ...

We were on a very tight schedule while pulling an RV from Colorado to Oregon,. We experienced a 'Service 4-WD' alert message and started hearing/feeling a growling front end noise occurring in our 2017 GMC Canyon. Upon chance, we were passing through Boise, ID at the time, and "crept" into Dennis Dillon GMC.
Meeting with Marcos Sanchez - service advisor, he stated that he would do his best to work us into a schedule which was "booked solid for the next two weeks." Yikes.... thank you COVID for creating staffing shortages and pent-up customer demand for service!
Within a few hours, Marcos was able to assign a technician to run diagnostics and troubleshoot errors. Marcos kept us informed via phone texts and stated that our problem needed to be escalated to his senior drive train specialist. The bad news was that this would require an overnight stay and more scheduling coordination.

By this time of day, we had sweat out 100-degree temperatures in their customer service lounge - thanks to their air conditioning repairs being delayed many days -due COVID. The wait included smelling your typical burnt coffee maker continually warming a 12-hr old pot of coffee, and me wondering around a 20+ bay repair complex, looking for any cold water and/or vending areas to offset a pretty uncomfortable waiting room experience. Their courtesy van was overbooked, their courtesy cars were loaned out, and Marcos could not determine if/when his specialist could work us into their repair schedule. ........ But, what can one expect while dropping in without an appointment?

So, if you break down in an unfamiliar town such as Boise, take an extra set clothes, have an Uber ready to take you to a local hotel that has air conditioning, and don't be afraid to unplug a burning coffee pot in a guest lounge. Do ask to work with Marcos to get your truck repaired within 24-hours, but, also ask for some additional customer service hosts (within the massive Dillon Universe) who are experienced in helping 'out-of-towners' make their stay in Boise as comfortable as possible.
