Could not have been to a better doctor for my cataract surgery. Another opthalmologist nearly talked me into an expensive surgery with corrective lenses, which my insurance would not cover. I did not need the lenses and my vision is back to normal again.

I agree that "calm and caring" describes this practice well.

Dr. D Kay is very straight forward. Your evaluation is covered by a standard blue cross policy as long as it is stated as routine visit and not preexisting condition even though you may have one. As a medical visit you get it under standard routine visit. After your eval, take your prescription to Central Expressway Optical which is near by for immediate and absolute alignment of your glasses to your pupils. Dr Kay preference for them is because progressives need person to person care. The prescription is filled with your visit. Calm and caring doctor and staff

Dr. Kay and his staff truly care about their patients. You should take their suggestion for an optician as well. He took excellent care of me. TIP: Before you worry about an eye issue- call Dr. Kay's office.

Dr kay is thorough competent and patient. He explains everything and you never feel rushed or that he s trying to sell you on more expensive options. He took care of both my cataracts and from the first day it s like I have brand new eyeballs. I couldn t be happier with Dr kay and his entire staff (all of whom are equally efficient friendly and helpful)
