Nice place a little dated in some spots but good staff and nice people make it worth it.
While they are doing updates to their services at least the staff are working to make the start pleasant.
Amazing hotel, very clean tidy. Pool is amazing with the slide! However, room service is very pricey and cleaning service knocked at 8am while I was sleeping to ask if I was going to check out. Other than that, it was an amazing stay.
The Waypoint Vacations Team loved it! The beauty and knowledge was exceptional. Looking forward to more events in the future
Not much for the price you pay, plus out room didn't have a fridge
Have stayed here many times! Delta is still wonderful but hotel could use a few updates- like new bathtubs/showers.. Not terrible by any means... Very friendly staff, clean room.. wifi great.. we stayed in older part of hotel with the nostalgic balconies.. great pool & waterslide that has many memories for us! Two negative issues we had... Parking lot that used to be beside hotel is now gone to make room for new condo ...so hotel parking garage is the only place to park for a $12.00 fee.. rather steep.. Entrance to hotel from garage is not wheelchair accessible and there is no secure entrance at all which is concerning for guests.. Restaurant in hotel is super expensive.. $20.00 for breakfast...I declined but my husband had no choice but to eat there as was on conference call. Scarborough Town Centre is 5-10 minute drive from Delta so good choices for meals & shopping... will stay here again when in the Scarborough area..
Great hotel. Very clean and quiet. I enjoyed my relaxing stay there. I would stay again.
We enjoyed our stay while visiting for an ice hockey tournament. The hotel room was very nice and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was also delicious from the restaurant. If staying in Toronto again we would come back.
In the room that I stayed was on the twelfth floor and from the elevator you could see a very nice view, it is close to shopping centers and has a great pool. It is definitely recommended.
Wish I could give this review zero stars. I frequently stay at Delta hotels in the Toronto area, and this is by far the worst one I have every stayed at. Booked to stay with a hockey team (the hotel was all teams as multiple tournaments were going on) and of course, they didn't put our team's rooms together. So noise complaint after noise complaint. Over three rooms were charged extra on their credit cards without any notice (nothing on the check out receipt indicating a charge would be applied), and to top it off, after one of the rooms received a noise complaint, they had a manger and security guard stay outside of our room door for the remainder of the evening and anytime they heard even one peep come from our room they knocked and threatened to kick us out, or have to pay for all 7 rooms on the floor. Talk about customer service!
After checking out in the car, one of the girls checked her credit card account and there was a $200 charge on top of the balance owed for the 2 nights we stayed there. When we went back in to talk to the front desk, they just said we received a noise complaint that its protocol to charge the card, another girl received a charge for $100 and her room was not only near any of the other rooms, but didn't receive any complaints.
Funny how adults are to be supervised by security while staying in their own rooms, yet kids were running around, banging on the piano in the lobby, saying rude things to by passers, giving people the finger and dancing like fools to everyone just trying to get to their rooms.
This hotel is a rip off and is charging people money for no reason. Customer service is a joke, and the whole experience was a real let down.
The first room they gave us had mold in it, the second room had a view of the swimming pool which was horrible because it smelt like chlorine and at certain times of day all you d hear was kids screaming and laughing coming from the pool. We also had to pay for the breakfast which was like your typical hotel breakfast but with salmon and a omelette bar, I would have just preferred it to be free without that extra. I also lost a item in the room and when I called for the to retrieve it for me they didn t get back to me.
It needs an upgrade and with all the condos going up around it don't think it's gonna be there long...
Good location close to the highway. Window was so dirty we couldn't see through it.
This place had good service nice eating place a amazing pool and hot tub I recomend this place!!!!!
Friendly, good location to highway, nice indoor pool, good 24 hour room service
Clean. Pool with waterslide great for kids. Parking is a pain
Nice, clean rooms. Fun pool with waterslide. Good service at the front desk and in the restaurant.
They were able to accommodate my last minute booking. Friendly staff , free parking and clean room plus sheets. Will consider this place before booking other places.
Pet friendly hotel with indoor pool! Staff were amazing!
The hotel is fine, located right off the 401, parking is offsite now (just beside the building in the parkade but it's an odd walk) and a bit winding to get to the lobby. The guest service was on point, and very helpful. There is a pool and a slide (the slide looked closed). Pool looks nice, didn't swim but it is in the main as atrium. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A little dated. Beds were ok, I didn't find them very comfortable but not because they weren't nice beds. Washroom did not have a powered vent/fan. All around would stay here again
Stayed there multiple times, had a blast almost everytime
We had Christmas dinner at the restaurant located in the main floor of the Delta. The food selection was great and the wait staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to returning in the near future!
I have been to the Kennedy and 401 location. The service is nice and the pool, sauna, anspd hot tub are wonderful, It is not a 5 star rating because the view is ugly . It looks over a highway. But for travellers, an access to the highway could be a priority to pick up a hotel location.
Night staff were extremely helpful, especially when I got in late, tired and frustrated.
Stayed at many Marriott hotels and usually consistent quality. This was an exception to that rule - first I checked in online and that didn t do anything. Had to pick up the keys anyway. The key card I was given didn t work so I had to go back with all my bags to the lobby and get a new one. So when I was ready for a drink after all of the disappointments and went down, the bar was closed at 12:20; however, the brochure says it should be open til 1am.
The Delta was very accommodating. They provided parking validation when their lot was full and also provided a cot for our room when plans changed last minute in regard to number of guests.
Was there for a conference: Conf room is adequate for the purpose. Lunch/hot meal acceptable as well.
Didn't sleep well at all very noisy because of the highway, bed not comfortable, I didn't get my extra toiletries as requested yesterday, the floor at the toilet dirty, the gym outdated one of the machine broken, I think this is one of the worst hotel not better than a comfort inn, veary upset and not happy, not worth $250 for a night, the only positive side is the good food at the restaurant. By the way I am not a tourist so I will not paying the tourist and service fee. Do something to make me happy before I leave here this morning at 9h am or I will not be coming back here again.
Also one of the room card didn't work yesterday I had to come down to the front desk after the pool to get it fixed. I don't feel any special as a Silver Elite member last week I stayed at Le Germain Maple Leaf in downtown Toronto they made me happy and special as a client
I got the bill in my room, I will see the manager before leaving, the MAT fee $8.60 and Marketing service fee $6.45 I am not paying that, that's not Room HST
The manager called me few mins after my complaint and offered me a compensation I will come back but not facing the highway anymore.
Went to the Spa located in the hotel. Overrall great experiencs, will definitely visit again.
Parking is on the other side of the building with no elevator and a large staircase. Not friendly for those with mobility issues. Landline Internet did not work and nobody knew how to fix it. Went to take a shower and the shower didn't work. Had to go leave for the day unclean. Hopefully upon returning tonight it's working. Update: Shower was repaired by the time we returned. Wired Internet still doesn't function. Was told I would get a call but never received one or they didn't leave a message. Pool was slightly cooler than I would have expected. Wireless Internet was working fine first day but now rarely works.
One of the Best Hotel in Toronto...very Hygienic..Great Hospitality
Nice and clean with great staff but wifi was very spotty.
Beds not comfortable No fridge or microwave in rooms
This a nice central location to other things. The hotel is nice upon entering. There is a restaurant at this location and the pool makes it a kid friendly location. I think the staff was friendly but you have to read all the small print to avoid being overcharged.
Hotel was great, pool was fun but the water was too cold for 2 year old.
The location is right off Hwy 401, which is very convenient for accessing the rest of the city. There is an amazing family orientated pool for guests as well as a hot tub, I believe. The staff are friendly and willing to help. You'll have to pay for parking, unless of course you're using a cab/Uber.
Clean hotel with excellent staff when i attended for a professional meeting. The hot breakfast was one of the best I've had at a hotel and they served Starbucks coffee. Would recommend for hosting seminars or staying overnight
The room was ok, but the internet was awful. Could not connect during 3 days.
Hotel is clean enough but not exceptional. There is a lot of nose coming from highway nearby. Rooms are big enough.
Excellent hospitality and comfortable, spacious room. Start was accommodating and made sure we were taken care of. Great location for Zoo visit.
I generally do not post reviews unless I have horrible experience. Having informed the hotel of my experience and receiving a generic template as answer I ve decided to do this post. Worst hotel room I ever stayed. Refer to the pictures.
Wallpaper peeling off the walls generally dirty, hooks falling off the walls bathroom tiles broken and Miley in some parts. As previous Starwood member and now a binvoy member I have never ever stayed in such a shabby room. Obviously this delta has trouble even holding holiday inn standards.
The staff did care about my presence I ordered room service no idea what I was thinking doing that food was cold meat was tough. A disappointment from beginning to end.
It's nothing special. Not worth being a 4 star hotel. The windows on the 9th floor were the filthiest I've seen in a hotel. Pool was broken. No robes.
Interesting style hotel. Great night stay nonetheless. Great pool.
Nice and decorative scenery, though it was a little bit confusing to navigate around the first floor as well as the pool area.
Really blah, all of the windows in the hotel are dirty and everything seems to be in the same state of disrepair. Needs to be renovated/refreshed.
Currently under government contract to house homeless and at risk individuals, in the times of covid-19. Great idea, until you pay regular price to stay there and have to deal with the daily fights, drug use and passed out drunk people on the property. Police are constantly around to "look around" but nothing was done. No masks or social distancing, and just not a nice overall vibe - actually didn't feel very safe. Would definitely not recommend.
Found a bed bug in one of the 3 rooms we had. We had to uproot our children late at night and leave the Hotel. Management was not helpful at all.
Current condo development in the area means all hotel parking in front is gone except for a few handicap spots but there is an underground garage which is a bit of a hike to the lobby. The restaurant is great as always especially for mothers day brunch.
I was in the west wing... it's dated with a view only of the interior swimming area.
Nice rooms, clean and tidy. Conference rooms needs AC
Delicious food, great buffet quality. Fun Christmas Eve dinner!
Nice hotel but has some issues with the room with the phone with the internet with the food at the restaurant and the pool
Threw a wedding anniversary for my parents at the Delta East. Their reception was actually here 30 years ago, and I'll be staying at the hotel around the time of my wedding as well! Positive experiences and meaningful memories made and to come!
It was a nice venue but even though the event was all night I felt like we were rushed during dinner. Coffee and food was attempted to be cleared without asking while I was seated before I was done and still had cutlery in hand.
We asked for 2 queen beds and when we arrived we were given one king then switched to 2 double beds as they did not have a room with 2 queens. We were also told parking would be free and it was 12 dollars. We did not have a fridge in our room and when we asked for one we were told it would be another 15 dollar charge. We went swimming in the pool it needs some maintnence it was dirty. The hottub had scales in the bottom of it. Overall i would not suggest going to this hotel.
We had a meeting room booked for the day they provided us with water and we stayed there for a few hours. The screen was not quite large enough for the presentation but everything else was quite good.
Used to be a great place to take your kids when going to their Spa or if you have a function. There was a day pass one can can use or free if you have Spa appointment. NO MORE. Very disappointed.
Nice hotel located outside downtown (Scarborough) but with many transit options to get downtown.
