Couldn't believe the shoddy customer service here. Honestly if I could rate lower I would.

Rooms are in terrible shape. I booked a "Premium 1 Bedroom". Food quality was probably a 2-3/10 and it was terribly overpriced. I went golfing while my wife and kid stayed at the resort and the golf course is really great, but they treat you like an outsider and are not very polite at the course. Probably because it is a private course. Better off paying to play the course and avoid this hotel as much as possible. It would be a 1 star if not for the great golf course.
This resort is tired and needs a serious update. Little or no money has been spent on maintaining it in the recent past. Pool was green, hot tub didn't work. Toilet in room rocked so bad you could fall off it! Carpets frayed, several window panes broken. Poor lighting in some areas at night and a lot of steps to navigate, some with no railings. Window seals were broken so windows were fogged up. Towel hook falling off the wall and bathtub (with dusty rose tile surround) had permanent stains in it. I could go on. All the staff we talked to were pleasant and welcoming and the room was satisfactory for cleanliness. We did have a good time but really can't give this property a high rating. Overpriced for its' condition.
A group of friends and I, visited the resort at the end of August for a little getaway out of the city. Around that time it was not busy at the resort so it felt like we are the only one there. The ambiance of the place is more cottage like, which we didn t mind as it felt like home. During the day we enjoyed the many wide selection of water sports the resort offered, like kayaking, paddle boating, and canoeing. We ended each night dining at the resorts restaurant, which was very tasty, and had great food options. I would definitely recommend this resort to groups of young adults and families.
365 a night for a place as run down as this place is a over charge. Was shocked when I entered the room. Dirty carpets and very old furniture. Very nice staff but not very nice when I have to wait an hour for the food to come. Came here for a wedding and that portion of it as nice but the rest of the experience was horrible. Have another wedding at the end of summer and will definitely not book again. Rather stay at the comfort in nearby. For the price per night you would think the management would put more money in renovation and keeping the place nice.
The placa is gorgeous!! Beautiful views and really nice staff.
We stayed as part of a wedding group this past weekend. The resort itself has beautiful views of the lake, and the event staff were good, but beyond that our stay was not what we expected. We had booked a queen room, and when we checked in we received a room with a single double bed. We had to go back to the front desk multiple times before we were able to move rooms to one with an actual queen bed. They were adamant that it was a queen, even when my partner got out his measuring tape. The decor is old and tired. The heater wouldn't shut off in the bathroom. Even with a group discount rate, it wasn't worth what we paid - and there was a minimum two night stay requirement. I cant believe they charge a resort fee. The wifi was slow or didn't work. Despite all that, it was the lack of service that disappointed us the most.
This place is fantastic our family of four has been coming up for the past 4 years and we plan to continue to do so.
Great place to enjoy your summer. I deffenitely recommend staying at The Rocky Crest Golf Resort!!!
The cabin was very nice and the location was right on the lake. Beautiful scenery and a great golf course on site. Highly recommended!
Beautiful resort. The condos and townhomes were incredible, very luxury and upscale. We visited in the middle of winter with our toddler so there wasn't a ton of activities available at that time but I can see how it would have been awesome in the summer time with the pools and beaches and parks. I would definitely return in the summer
Great spot, amazing food, views and golf, need i say more
Great place for the family. Staff was incredibly nice and took extra precautions during the pandemic to make us feel safe. Highly recommend this place for a golfing or family vacation.
It is a beautiful resort! The location is perfect! The room was amazing! The service at the resort was also very good from the house keeping service to the restaurants and even the grounds crew! Would recommend Rocky Crest Golf Resort to anyone! Even if they don't golf!
A well managed resort...lovely locale...numerous amenities...family friendly
Beautiful spot. Rooms and facilities in need of renovation and updating.
Stayed in one of the cottage - great space, lots of space for a big family, great outdoor space too. Only downside is the wifi gets overloaded very easily
We ve been coming here for 6 years and love it! Amazing pet friendly family resort on the lake! The restaurants are great and the kids love the watersports and toys! Don t forget to stop by Top Nosh Cafe for Kawartha dairy ice cream served above Hamer Bay marine!! Breakfast at Windows overlooking the calm lake at sunrise is a must as is dinner on the patio at On The Green Bistro overlooking the 18th green at sunset.
A piece of heaven on earth ! Beautiful surrounding and a lot of fun activities for everyone
Worked here for a few months, rooms are really run down and gross, the owner ken treats his staff very badly and has a very bad attitude only thing good about this place is the golf course!
This resort is over rated. Our suite has too many thing broken. Patio door kept banging shut, front porch light pulled off wall (dark returning from dinner) bedroom lamp could not be plugged in, over used of electrical outlet. One bathroom for 2 bedroom suite (4 people). Pool cloudy. Only positive was the helpful friendly staff. Clublinks focus is on golf ourse which was excellent. Next visit I would book different sleeping accomadation and drive to course. Very disappointed, especially when it was rated a 4 and $$$$.
This place is beautiful and a great value when you look at others in the Muskoka area.
A pretty good course. We played the first week of the year and it was in amazing shape considering all the recent flooding in surrounding areas. The tournament was run mostly smoothly. The biggest issue was we had a shotgun start and they didn't space us out enough so the round took 6 hours! Sleeping accomodations were good enough. Nothing fancy, but definitely roomy for the 4 of us who stayed in the room.
I stayed at Rockey Crest with a group of friends for a bachelor/bachelorette weekend. The facilities were amazing and staff was friendly. Highly recommend
Room waa nice, had a kitchinette, king sized bed an pull out couch
Very nice facilities and waterfront at this well-kept resort. Staff were responsive and respectful of Covid guidelines
Great golf course, staff very pleasant, had great time.
Amazing course. Greens and fairways were perfect. Although I can t afford to regularly play at this course, when I do it s a treat. Highly rated for a reason. Very privileged to play there
I was suppose to be golfing this course today, hotel and transportation was already paid for. I purchased a Clublink membership that they donated to a fundraising event to help raise money for a good cause. And now unfortunately Clublink will not honour the terms of the contract and I can't try out your course. Such a shame a company would do this, just awful customer service. From reading other reviews I can see that there are many others that are in the same situation as I am.
Great stay at rocky crest. Only negative was the hottub wasn't working. Otherwise excellent
Great track to play and great condition. Condo s were suitable for a golf getaway
I was pleasantly surprised with this resort and in awe of the surroundings and amenities. Heated outdoor pool, gorgeous view of the lake and delicious food at your fingertips. The room was quaint and clean and the staff was friendly and courteous. Definitely would go back.
Horrible customer service. Since 1 month i m trying to book rooms for 4 people but extremely rude agents. They literally told me i m mad. Extremely bad service. They need to pay me for this behavior. I will contact cpa and BBB
Great resort, great staff and lots of activities to do here.
Very nice Muskoka dock resort on the water. It is open to families so if you get annoyed by children maybe not for you.
Great golf course, but greens are in bad shape for 2018
This was a beautiful spot to stay and my partner loved the golf course. Some things seemed a little outdated, decor, wifi, and tv, but everything functioned and the staff were friendly.
Awesome visit with my friends at this resort! We rented out one of the cottages. They were spacious, well laid out and clean. The resort has a campfire, a pool and tons of lake toys. There is a nice outdoor patio area at the restaurant. The staff is very friendly and well informed, they are very helpful whenever we needed anything. They also give you free ice bags with your rental. I recommend this resort.
Nice hotel and facilities but we need to go after mid June to ues the big pool
We were 6 friends planning for a short and sweet trip outside the Toronto and i found this place on google and booked it. To be honest this was one the best resort i have been in this area we had an amazing weekend. Go for it guys you will love the atmosphere of the place and the staff is amazing and ready to help.
Great Resort for golfers and for families. Great waterfront with plenty of toys to enjoy the water activities. Also great Arts and crafts for young kids.
Just arrived and our room is not ready and cleaning staff are scrambling to accommodate. Check in staff have no idea we had breakfast included, late checkout, daycare for one day and other amenities included. Manager stated they have to look into it. Not off to a good start at Rocky Crest. I'll update as we continue our stay here.
After our stay at Rocky Crest I must say we had a great time. After the first night our experience dramatically improved as we enjoy the lake and the amenities of the resort. The food was decent but nothing to rave about. Our best meal was in Port Carling at Turtle Jacks on the water. All in all we had a great time and would return again.
Went here for a wedding. It was absolutely stunning, the lake is beautiful and the club house was amazing. Golf course was nice. Food was good! All around great experience
Awesome place, and beautiful people attending at Rocky Crest, excellent service
We enjoyed our time here. Great deal through club link for weekday stay. Lots of fun activities in the water and plenty of dock space for physical distancing. We brought food and used the gas grills. The kitchenette did the job. Nice little touches available at the front desk, like complimentary marshmallows and sticks for roasting by the fire. Amazing views. My kids also enjoyed the sports center.
Great resort in the muskoka's on Lake Joseph. Amazing golf course. Great staff and amenities on the property.
Great course that is well maintained and very fair. Generous fairways and a beautiful layout makes this course well worth the visit.
This is my pre-visit rating meant to make sure you know what their policy is. I cancelled my reservation well over 3 weeks in advance and am being charged $35 plus tax charge that is "the policy cancellation fee applied as indicated in your confirmation letter when cancelling." It is understandable that a fee be charged when close to the actual arrival date, but there's really no good reason for this. So, just be aware it's their policy. Should I visit in the future, I'll be sure to find a way to get my $35 worth!!
We had a great time staying for the weekend with family and friends for a Boat Rally for SickKids. The water was absolutely beautiful and the inflatable play area was a big hit for all of us! Would love to have tried some of the other water options, but we were very busy with activities from the Boat Rally. The rooms were a little dated and the A/C was in the main bedroom. We had to hook up a fan to circulate the cool air into the rest of our suite. At night, we had to turn it off(because my wife doesn t like the cold air) until morning. The fridge was very small as well and made it hard to bring our own food. The resort is a little over priced for the amenities and quality of the rooms, but we still made the best of our experience! All in all, an awesome time with great friends.
Great food and service, Emily was a great servant and her suggestions of food were amazing. Thank you
