Delta Calgary Airport Hotel Review

Convenient for early morning international flights. Well presented, clean rooms.

Convenient location. Staff is friendly. Lobby is inviting. Rooms aren't as nice as anticipated.

The hotel itself has the feel of a dated hotel that has been renovated but not extensively. One of the issues I had is that for a premium price you would expect a USB plug or similar for charging devices in the room. I did go to the restaurant and the food was adequate but the chicken breast was way overcooked which turned it into a leathery mess.

Great nights sleep before departing on ski trip with CMH. Good breakfast.

Very MEH. Old and outdated feel. HVAC system loud and not very strong. Small room but adequate space. Not great, not bad. Extremely average!

Does not have the amenities I have come to expect from a Delta hotel.

Clean room and across the street from the airport. Restaurant was ok, nothing special butt it was food

Very friendly and professional front desk staff. Beautiful hotel with swimming pool and hot tub. I believe there is a restaurant in the hotel as well. The rooms are large, lots of space with a desk and chair. Small couch with coffee table. The bathroom was on the smaller side but everywhere else had lots of room to it. Comfortable bed was a huge plus with large soft pillows. Definitely a great place to stay, especially if needing to be near the airport. Literally a walk across the street / sky bridge to get to the hotel.

Always stay here before flying out. Amazing accommodation. Comfortable beds. Yakima is a great restaurant. The service is always above and beyond. A great way to relax pre and post trip. Would stay again and can not wait to.

Great room. Staff was polite at the front desk and offered a room upgrade that included breakfast for a small fee. Pool in the lobby is a bit weird but that's fine - we didn't use it. Buffet breakfast was good as well.

Good customer relation, convenient for a traveler especially Family. they accommodate early check-ins and very relaxing clean rooms.

Pretty good hotel. A little dated, but overall solid. The staff is really nice and helpful.

Great place to stay if flying out the next day. Staff was helpfull and rooms while not the best was great for an overnight stay.

We only stayed for one short night, due to a rerouting of our flight. The room was nice and as close to the airport as possible. Comfortable bed. Friendly service.

Night Audit staff were helpful with late check in's and early departures! Rooms are clean and well laid out. It's a Delta for sure! Odd location of Pool however. Meals were great.

Stayed at this hotel for one night after arriving on a flight from NY and before heading out to Banff for the week the next day. I was traveling with my husband and best friend and we had reserved one room to share for that one night. I emailed the hotel to see if there were any upgrades available during our stay (I'm a Titanium Elite member) and Dan and Pam responded and were able to arrange a one bedroom suite with for us a pull out couch (two separate rooms, the bedroom had French doors giving us and my best friend privacy). Thank you!
! We also received vouchers for the breakfast (which was very good and Ivy working the breakfast the next morning was wonderful!). This is a great airport hotel and Id recommend checking it out if you're just there for a night or a few nights!

Small rooms but super clean and awesome charging station by the side of the desk there.

Great staff, but the hotel could use a little updating. This hotel is attached to the airport so it's easy if your just in town for the night. The rooms seemed a little dated. The day I was there it was almost -30 outside and my room couldn't get warm. The thermostat seemed to think the room was warm so it wouldn't run the heat for long. The hotel quickly provided a space heater to help. Being from Ontario i also asked for a humidifier, but the one they provided was just a fan because then water was at the same level in the morning. Water pressure in the washroom was pretty poor as well. I probably would choose the Marriott hotel near the airport next time, this Delta was ok but I'll wait until they make some changes before I go back. There is a lobby bar and the food is pretty good.

It's a nice enough hotel but their pillows are over stuffed.

Bathroom is so small you need to exit to change your mind.

Had a great stay in the Delta at the Calgary Airport. Kind and friendly staff, clean room and conveineint hotel restaurant on the main floor.

Great staff, really nice and courteous. The hotel has a great restaurant, it's pretty fancy. The rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. I will be staying here again.

Joined friends for an hour and a half, the server didn't once come by to ask if I'd like anything. Showed up to have a beer with some friends and wasn't even offered.

Friendly, but starting to show its age. However it's right at the airport 2 minutes to cross the road and you're in departures. To me it's a good deal.

Great location if you want to be "in the airport". Friendly and helpful staff, and very good breakfast buffet. Rooms are showing a bit of age, but not an issue if you want quick airport access.

While a bit pricey, you can't beat the location. Very nice place, pretty comfortable. Enjoyed using the pool/ hot tub.

I've been staying here for years. So convenient when flying in for next day meetings in the city. Get off the plane, walk to the hotel and check in.

Conference room was clean and food was acceptable. Staff was also friendly.

Great staff! The hotel rooms are a bit dated and could use a revamp. I was told they will be renovating the rooms sometime next year. We had an issue with the TV remote not working and they brought someone up quickly and was able to replace our remote.

Great room, though the bathroom is quite small. But it's clean, bright, the bed is super comfy, it's very quiet and the staff are excellent and helpful.

This review is for the hotel restaurants, arrogant people with laziness attitude. Stay away.

Great location in the airport. Good breakfast buffet, and friendly staff. The pool is nice and the hotel is a great place before or after a flight.

Stayed here one night and was exactly what you would expect out of an airport delta

Built right at the airport and easy access not bad at all.

The hotel seemed old. The paint job on my floor seemed rushed. The breakfast was delicious but way over priced. Definitly a convenient location, but the price I paid for an average room was very high.

Clean rooms but a bit dated decor. Can tell that they'll get better now that Marriott bought them. Teeny tiny bathrooms; not sure how to fix that problem. Very nice for an airport bathroom.

We have had nothing less than a excellent experience at this hotel. All employees have been helpful, respectful and accommodating. The room is clean and comfortable. The deserts were delicious!

While walking past it in the Airport, it seems to always be lively and well maintained.

I liked the hotel service from front desk to operator to room service. The rooms are well maintained with gym , pool and sauna for guests. The only downside is no lounge for breakfast... the morning breakfast is usually a part of your stay in most of the hotel which is missing here.

Nice to have something right at the airport. Friendly staff and clean. The kid enjoyed the pool.

Stayed in a conference room for a few hours while waiting for a bus. Food was cold sandwiches and tomoto soup. Complimentary juice and pop.

Went for a sales conference. Good breakfast and lunch.

So great to walk across the street with my kids (6 and 8), husband and a ton of luggage at 4:30am for a 6:00am departure. Very nice room.

I went there recently just for a few drinks with some friends. The bartender was pretty nice and he mixed all the drinks to perfection. Will be coming back :)

Price was a little high, even for the convenience of the airport. Bad: Tub drained super slow, room was smallish, picture on TV was poor. Good: clean, and comfortable beds.

no 5 star because there was no steam room and gym facilities

We stayed at the Delta in terminal hotel for 4 nights and 5 days. It's not very convenient if you have to travel daily back and forth between downtown. It's also clearly an older hotel. My room had no USB ports, the outlet next to the bed didn't work and the heat wasn't on. We spoke to the front desk, but they said since it was still summer, they won't turn on the heat. It was 7 degrees last night. Very uncomfortable having to stay in a room withoit heat on a chilly night. Also the elevators stopped midfloors on us. We notified the front desk and was told they were working on it. I did however like the toiletries offered.

Great overnight stay for early flight departure in the morning. Hotel and room were very clean and pool and hot tub was nice and relaxing. Enjoyed dinner at lounge and had great customer service. Would recommend YYC Delta hotel to anyone who is passing through Calgary.

First off my company was paying for the room and told me they could charge a credit card over the phone. When we arrived however, this was not the case.... Luckily my coworker brought the company credit card so that was taken care of.

The room was spacious calling it a "deluxe" room with a king sized bed, yet everything was fairly outdated, there is a strange small steel door to the bathroom, which the shower head and bathtub need an upgrade very soon. The heading system looks like it's out of the 80's, but otherwise the room was clean and our staff was acceptable. But considering without our group rate they charge $185/night for this room is ridiculous, it's understandable when everything is modern and nicely updated but that is certainly not worth the money.

Outdated, dingy, dark. Needs a refresh of hallways and rooms.

We recently had an unexpected stay here. Rooms have been recently updated, the kids enjoyed the pool, and we got a late check out so we could relax before our flight

The hotel staff are amazing, the venue is clean and well equipped, and it is a great place to be and stay and host an event.

Great room, comfortable bed and never heard a thing even though it's right beside the airport. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. You can't beat the location especially if you have an early flight to catch. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here any time I'm catching a flight the next day.

What a absolute joke, the guy on the phone was yelling at me, I am absolutely shocked that there customer service is like that, unbelievable, whatever you do dont go there you will get yelled at.......just completely ignorant people......

Very convenient hotel to stay at right at Calgary Airport. Also has a nice Pub and good food. Has a indoor pool that's surrounded by in the court yard.

Good room service food and room was clean and comfortable

My Marriott points never get added to my card when I stay here, so I've changed hotels 3 times is not a charm.

As always, the room was perfect. Blackout curtains, great pillows, and all the amenities you need. We did have to wait several minutes for service in the restaurant, but once we were served it was fantastic.

The hotel is perfect if you have a night to spend at the hotel. The room are cheaper than at the Marriott, but are a bit older. I spent the night watching the hockey games at the lunge talking with the very friendly staff.

A perfect accommodation with package of good service, good food & others with a lowest cost.

Lovely Hotel right on the airport pricey for me but a great place to stay if you're on a quick layover

I was only there for one night so I can't give a proper review, but I had no problems with the hotel. It was good enough for me

Convenient, very clean, comfortable, good food. Perfect way to pick off a vacation !
