Products listed on the website are often not available and they will not swap to things that are. They didn't tell us that it wasn't available until we called to find out where it was. Customer service was nice enough but I'm never buying any of their products again due to the faulty way the business works, and they completely deserve the 1 1/2 star review on their page for false advertising about the availability of products and delivery dates.

I had placed an order with dell Australia via chat support. The agent (merlin micheal) was very helpful and guuide me throughout the process. The only issue I faced was not getting a confirmation mail, neither order nor payment, other than the representative told me all good. She gave me the order number for tracking purpose.

I got the item delivered today (1st sep 2020) at 8:25 am. They did the best during this pandemic to keep up the promise of next day delivery.

Only concern is regarding the communication mails such as order confirmation/payment/shipping details. The rest am very happy.

literally the worst customer service ever. i have been dell customer for over 3 years and almost every time, call drop. they never call back. u have to wait 30 mins to get connected and another 30 mins after it drops. their automation call system is literally the worst. get any other brand but dell, literally worst customer service. id give negative stars but they dont have em. u have been warned. its 12.21 now, have been trying to connect since 11.40. still havent connected. call keeps on dropping

I bought an Inspiron 15 3000 laptop in September 2020. The delivered computer was faulty from the start. After three failed visits from repair technicians and after waiting for Dell to 'consider' the case they finally agreed to replace the computer. That was over a month ago! All I get now are emails in largely incoherent English which describe more and more delays. Last Dell I ever buy!!

Bought a Dell Inspiron 14 7000 which will be the last Dell I purchase. The build quality is poor. The keys are hard to read and flimsy. Even though I ensured I had more than enough RAM etc the performance is frustrating to say the least.

Purchased a monitor and called a few days later to confirm when it would be delivered to find out that they had canceled my order without notifying me at all, because there was no stock. Why I was able to purchase an item that wasn t even in stock is beyond me. I ve called the call centre 4 times to try and get my money refunded but it s been over 2 weeks since I placed the order and I still haven t been refunded. I will never buy a Dell product ever again in my life.

The customer service at Dell is appauling. In January we bought a new Dell computer and required additional upgrade. We emailed them several times and were assured this would be actioned...... that was over a week ago and still waiting so have given up and sort advice from other IT experts.
Not at all happy and will not be purhasing another Dell. Sorry I have to provide 1 star which I don't think is worth it.

I'm absolutely flabbergasted by the response of their support manager Gabrielle:

"If you do not wish to proceed with a repair and wish to escalate the request, you have the choice to approach your local regulatory body, whom can discuss the concern further with Dell directly."

This was in response to my pointing out that I was entitled to a refund under Australian consumer law. Suffice to say, I took Gabrielle up on his suggestion and filed a complaint with the ACCC. Good luck Dell, I won't be buying from you any time soon.

Imagine buying a monitor, being told everyone's busy right now and to please be patient while it's shipped, waiting a month, then finding out the order was cancelled without them bothering to mention it to you. That's what Dell did.

Now imagine calling them and asking for an explanation, and they say "your order has been cancelled as per your request". As per MY request? Why in the world would I want to pretend to buy a monitor for a month?!

In conclusion, unless you thrive on frustration, I would advise you with all my being not to purchase anything through Dell Australia.
