Delaware Area Career Center Review

I graduated from law enforcement program if you re thinking about taking it don t! it ll waste your time.They guarantee all these national certifications and training but my class didn t receive any of it! They don t answer incoming calls and don t bother leaving a voicemail they won t return your call!

I absolutely loved attending the Delaware Area Career Center. I met my best friend there and was in the Information Technology Academy - Interactive Media Lab. I now attend Kent State University and while my credits didn't transfer, I'm glad to have had the experience to bring to KSU that no one else has. I am so grateful to have had this experience and would have done it again if given the chance.

It's the technical school for all the high schools in the area

DACC truthfully changed my life!! All of the staff at DACC has so much care for their students & their success! It's such a great place to find yourself and meet amazing people who are just like you. I never felt like I fit in at a regular high school, but joining DACC was like joining a giant, supportive family! I've always struggled to feel like school was more than just test scores that define your path, but after completing my academics at DACC, I finally understood that it was so much more than that! I discovered what I am passionate about, my love for learning, how to make life-changing connections, and what I want to do for the rest of my life! People around you may say stuff like "it's way too good to be true" (believe me, I heard that one too), but DACC went beyond my expectations! I gained so many amazing opportunities, experiences, awards, & more (I got to travel to Anaheim, California with some of my best friends to compete for Business Professionals of America, how cool is that?)! If you're even slightly considering DACC, then I would 100% say give it a try and you will not regret it!

From the parent point of view, I highly recommend DACC. Two of our daughters attended and completed their technical programs. One is now a successful stylist in an upscale salon and the other is putting her skills to use at a college offering web design and other media arts. Both loved their labs and excelled academically. DACC also provides leadership opportunities through SkillsUSA and Business Professionals of America (BPA). Get your student involved in these organizations! Teachers are caring, responsive, and skilled. Counselors, administrators, and all personnel are also very professional, responsive, and helpful. The buildings are clean and well-maintained. There were no surprise costs or disappointments. Thank you, DACC!

Currently attend this as a senior in the Digital Design program, and it has changed my life with the experiences I've had.

The building is professional, the staff is professional, and the equipment is professional. But if you're looking for a school to go to you better have a particular field or you're not going to like it.

The Delaware Area Career Center was the place of some of my most enjoyable experiences as a high school student. As a student of DACC, I had countless memorable experiences and opportunities that I will be able to take with me throughout my life. The friends I made at DACC were some of my best high school friends. Spending 2.5 hours of them every week day certainly make you close.
I recommend DACC to any students who wishes to have something unique on their resume right out of high school. It is a great place to "do education."

There's a reason this place continues to set the standard in the area, every question I had was answered with ease, it is no surprise as to why they have been here since 1975. Thanks!
