Very cozy establishment with friendly staff. The restaurant is upscale with higher priced and most everyone is in business attire, but there is no official dress code. They have a delicious breakfast buffet, turn down service and several amenities for your convenience. Rooms were were nice and bed was comfortable. We slept great here!
I stayed overnight at the Delamar in Southport with my wife and booked the romance package. The room was wonderful, the little extras with our package were great, and they even put a bed out for my dog! We only stayed one night at this hotel but I would recommend it to anyone looking for a little getaway close to home.
Beautiful room in a beautiful hotel. Incredibly comfortable beds, one of the best sleeps I've had in a while. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. We plan on staying here regularly when we visit family.

When visiting Connecticut you may want to stay at this hotel. Close to the I-95. A close walk to the Southport harbour. Sunrise at the harbour is heavenly

I went there for dinner. You should make a reservation, I don't think you will get a table without one. The food is amazing, really, the kitchen staff deserve big applause. We had a party of 6 and we got 5 different entrees, each one was superbe. I got the baratta appetizer - it was delicious. The wait staff are attentive and friendly which just made the entire experience. The last thing is the price, it can be pricy but we totally felt it was worth it. Not a place for a quick cheap bite, but if you want a great meal you will not soon forget, go here.
I was employed there for a year. Rooms are beautiful. All different, no "hotel" furniture. Lots of cool art.
I went for a work function, dinner and drinks. The hors d'oeuvres were tolerable, however the dinner was fantastic! The atmosphere is very nice. It's a pretty expensive place, so probably not somewhere I would frequent often.
Stopped by for dinner at the bar- very crowded, but we were seated right away. Great food and drinks!
Attended a wedding there. The hotel was beautiful - very New England rustic style on the outside. The I side was very updated with modern art on he walls. Rooms were spacious and had excellent furniture. Hotel staff wefe friendly. Overall, a great experience.
