Bought the Costco fair pack which was well worth it. It included 4 entry tickets, parking pass, 50 ride tickets, a free savings book, 3 buy one drink get one free coupons. All that for 80 from Costco. Went to the fair with a big group and a bunch of little kids. There's a fair amount of walking which I didnt mind but it's overcrowded. When it came time to eat they have dozens of vendors to choose from but not enough tables to eat on. Everything takes time especially parking and getting into the fair due to long lines. Next time I would go with a smaller group and in the early evening to catch the fireworks.

The fair is amazing the food, rides, concert and events but you will go out of the fair with no money. I just went to the thrill rides, me and my dad and we kept needing to go to buy more tickets because every ride is about 5 tickets. I recommend you to get a card with 70 tickets not 20! 70 tickets cost 50 DOLLARS, but worth it. Everything is almost kinda close as pricey as Disneyland. Finally, in the thrill rides area you have to yell to talk to the person who you are with because in the evening the music of the rides are loud, you can t even tell what song is on the ride your on, kinda. But we still had a lot of fun!

I got the $23 pass for 23 days of the fair and I think I almost used every day they were open. I love the fair the food is way overpriced. The entertainment is outstanding and the buildings and Booth's that you can go through for everything you can imagine is really interesting.

Once again, the San Diego County Fair was amazing! So much fun, yummy food, and great atmosphere! I haven't missed an SD fair in the 31 years I've been alive, and will continue to go forever! Love all the art work, the floral exhibits, baking competitions, theme of the year and animal exhibits. (Just to name a few and some pictured below) Special shout out to Ron and Peggy from Kobe Pearl and Gem Company! I have known them since I was in the womb and have picked pearls from oysters from them every year. It's a tradition my mom and dad started back in 1985 and now I get to do it with my wife. Great quality pearls for an amazing price. Highly recommend! All in all, not a negative thing to say about this years fair!

Everything about the Fair is great. I go every year with friends. We always get something from Chicken Charlie's, snowcones, win plushies, go on rides, walk through exhibit halls, etc. There's so much to do and it's a good workout. Would recommend anyone- local or not- to visit at least once.

It was OK. Parking was a nightmare. Took almost an hour to park and over an hour to get out. The security staff is not very friendly or helpful either. Same statement applies to the parking staff. It was during Fair season though.

I've been here more than once, it just seems a little bit outdated and overcrowded.

In great big open Fairgrounds that usually has multiple events going on at the same time. The biggest event is the San Diego County Fair that takes place over the summer until the 4th of July. The parking is pretty expensive if you go multiple days but usually for the county fair there is bus services I will thank you from less expensive or free parking to the actual Fairgrounds.

This rate is solely based on my experience on taking the bus back to my car. They need to come up with a better strategy on how to make sure everyone is safe, during waiting on the bus. More employees/staff need to be all hands on deck. My family and I waited an entire hour to be able to get into a bus, the issue was that there were a lot of people cutting line. Even after the fact that I brought it up to three different staff members, nothing was done. It is NOT fair for everyone to wait in line and for people to cut in front of them. A total of 6 people cut right behind us. The last time I brought it to a staff member, right before getting into the bus, he just went straight to them to ask if they were in line. No surprise, they lied and got into the bus. Sure enough when they got inside it almost turned into a physical altercation when they noticed I brought it to a staff s attention. This goes to show how ignorant people can be and for staff not to be fully aware of what s going on, if they were paying attention.

It is just unpleasant to deal with such situation when pointing out what s fair.
