Steak was cold in the middle, manager never returned after saying he would. Waitress asked if we were flying out this afternoon, we replied yes, then she left check and disappeared. I had to track her down and found her talking to the bartender.
We made a reservation to celebrate my mother s retirement. We told the hostess it was a celebration. The noise level was the first issue we had to repeatedly ask our server to repeat herself and it was difficult to hear well enough to carry on a conversation at the table. We ordered steak and none of them were cooked as requested. I asked for medium rare and had well done. My husband asked for medium and his was medium rare so they took his back to the grill and I waited for a new one. We asked for a side of mash potatoes and they brought macaroni and cheese. Each time we had to get the server s attention and waited to correct the issues. At other times we had no water. I expected to have our check comped even a small amount but nothing. We were also told a piece of cake would be brought out since we explained it was to celebrate her retirement and made that note on the Open Door reservation. Very very disappointed.
We (a couple)sat at the bar because there was a long wait for a table however the bartender took our food order and the service and food was awesome!!
They'll undercook your steak to prevent overcooking, and they'll use too much truffle in the mac & cheese. The atmosphere is nice; but the mexicans cooking their food don't have any passion. They could easily hire some somewhat skilled and passionate chefs with the price tags on their menu; but they obviously can't because the place is nowhere as busy as it used to be, as the young African GM Adegoke Kondwani comes to our table to seek reason to the issues he's obviously oblivious to.
We have eaten here 3 or 4 times and have had a great experience every time. Make reservations in advance and you will be taken care of! The dinners are amazing and the Sunday brunch is fantastic! Thanks Del Frisco's Grille in Southlake!

Went to dinner with my husband. Upon receiving our drinks, an unidentified bug crawled across our table. My husband killed it and we showed the waiter who didn't seem to know what it was. We left without eating
Great meal. Large space with friendly staff. Waiter was very friendly. Drinks were delicious. They had a banana desert that was very unique. Delicious. Would recommend.
Visited today for lunch. They had a Thanksgiving holiday menu going. We had the Cheesesteak Egg roll and Crabcake appetizers. Both were excellent. For an entree i hada very good Pork Tenderloin with mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. Also had the Apple - Sage Sausage Stuffing as a side. While it was good the fennel in the Sausage was a little overpowering. It masked any of the other flavors in the stuffing. The service was excellent.
In over 30 years I have never been disappointed in a Del Frisco's. The food, service and attention to detail has been unmatched.

Hands down best service I've had! This place is incredibly clean, even the floors and booths. I had a couple of the best drinks I've been served. The cheese plate was amazing and well balanced. The truffle Mac and cheese was not over powered by the white truffle. I had a filet mignon burger that haunts my dreams. The arugal and greyer compliment the jam and gorgonzola so well and bring out the bacony flavor of the burger, which was a nice size. The amazing chocolate balls on my desert where so great I want to just have those around for icecream at home

The food was delicious, I had the gormett cheese burger, made my way, with the to die for Mac and cheese. The Nutella Bread pudding was the cherry on top of a delicious lunch. The atmosphere is comfortable as was the booth seating, for 5 adults. I will be back!
The food was decent at best. I would recommend spending the extra money and going to Del Frisco's Steakhouse.

This is simply one of the best places to dine in the Southlake area. The menu is fantastic, the staff is phenomenal, and it's the perfect place for a night out with friends or a special someone. Definitely recommend - super clean - nice environment - friendly people...all a win!

Was hesitant on going to this location for my birthday after reading past reviews. We have been to other locations and it has always been a more than pleasant experience. Could not have been better! Our server was extemly polite and personable, drinks, food, and service were excellent! We did have reservations, which not sure how much it helped bc we still had to wait a little but did not mind, server immediately greeted me with a "Happy Birthday" and ended our dinner with a complimentary cake, ice cream and a candle. GM came by and introduced herself and made sure everything was satisfactory, could not have asked for a better experience.

Lunch menu is a little confusing, they use labels like "to share" rather than calling them appetizers and a few other things that just make you wonder why... the portions are very small but also high quality. A good but small lunch for 2 people is around $50.

This was my first and unfortunately my last time at Del Frisco's. Yesterday my hubby suggested that we go to See Frisco's to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. I was able to get a last minute reservation for dinner.
The inside ambiance is beautiful, definitely my kind of place. We were seated upstairs and we really treated ourselves yesterday in celebration. We shared the caesar salad, cheesesteak taquitos (flavor profile was brilliantly delicious), and I had the sangria and the hubby has whiskey and a beer. Fire dinner we choose to order the same thing - ribeye with truffle butter, pommes frites, and shared asparagus. For dessert we went with the coconut pie.
Everything for the most part rates great, my last favorite was the caesar salad and asparagus as the salad was served warm and I didn't care for the dressing and asparagus was a little over cooked for my liking. The service was great, she did a great job!
So you may be wondering, "why the 2 star review"? Well fast forward about 7hrs later and my stomach started hurting so I called it a night. Well let's just say I didn't sleep most of the night as I had extreme stomach pains. I unfortunately vomited and had to make several trips to the bathroom (toilet). I don't know exactly what good item(s) made me sick but I'm pretty confident it was something I ate at Del Frisco's.
Earlier in the day I had only had 2 slices of pineapple and 2 slices of raisin bread, with no prior stomachache or issues. I'm so bummed that we spent over $200 last night and it made me sick. Thankfully I'm feeling better this am (really weak), but I have no intentions of having meat or eating out for awhile. We really liked our experience but I can't take the chance of a potential repeat stomach death experience.
I came for my birthday, and received the requisite free dessert, but then the chef bought me a second beer and sent me home with two more free desserts! The lamb burger was cooked perfectly, too.
It's a lighter version of the famous steakhouse. Good menu selections. Delicious food. Fantastic environment. A little pricey.
They have an awesome steak! The food is fantastic! If you go after 8:00, you can get better seating usually! The service is exceptional! The design of the place is magnificent and very elegant! You won t be disappointed!

Not good at all. I had to send my steak back and when it came back it was still tough and overcooked. The coconut pie was sour, the server was very sweet but not attentive at all. I will not be back
I have given this location many chances and they seem to disappoint me each time from my birthday dinner celebration with horrible service and dirty plates, to a normal salad to go. The bartenders know me by name not just because I was a regular but because the kitchen managed to mess up a salad order EVERY time. Steakhouse salad, extra steak.....that's the whole order. Why they manage to get that wrong each time I am not sure. I went on a hiatus from eating there and tried it again after awhile. They had a streak without issues with me for about 2 months with me eating there at least 1-2 times per week; same salad to go...now they are back on the messing up streak. Last night they comped the salad they messed up (I had ordered 2) which was sufficient for me, until I got home and both steaks were rotten to the taste. I questioned the steak when I tasted it because it taste like the steak had been left out too long raw, began to spoil, and then cooked. I didn't say anything to my boyfriend who also got a steak, thinking it was just mine. He called me today to tell me never to get him a steak from Del Frisco's Grille in Southlake because his steak tasted spoiled. So nope, wasn't just mine. We had 3 steaks.....all spoiled meat. We decided to take them off our list permanently.
Food was awesome, service was short and impersonal. Been to hundreds of steakhouses from NYC to Hong Kong...this was imemorable.

The steakhouse salad here is my favorite salad in town. Definitely try the deviled eggs.
Beautiful upstairs patio, delicious deviled eggs and flatbreads, great selection of drinks. Oh yeah... The Ahi tuna tacos are outstanding!
Really simple, good food. This was recommended by our hotel and did not disappoint for lunch. We watched football, had good food, and sat at the bar.

Great! I usually get the rib eye but the last time in Sundance Square is wasn't that good. This time I ordered the filet minion and it was delicious. I love deviled eggs and these were good but just good. The artichoke beignets were delicious as was the caramel pot de creme. The patio could use a misting system for hot days like today but it was bearable on the patio with the fans. Altogether a delightful evening and delicious meal.
My husband and I went to celebrate our 10th year anniversary expecting amazing food and service. The reason I give two stars is because the food was amazing. We had appetizers, entrees, desserts, and drinks everything was perfect. Now service not so much. My husband made a reservation and noted it was our anniversary and wanted it to be special. When we arrived the two hostesses were rude and unfriendly, they even sat us next to the loud kitchen (any other time this would have not been an issue). We probably had the worst seats in the restaurant and we passed plenty of empty tables. When our waitresses arrived she was sweet and took care of us for a while. During the middle of our meal we never saw her, someone else noted our drinks were empty and got us some more. Overall the experience in itself was not what I expected especially on such a big anniversary. I guess I just got spoiled when we went to another Del Frisco' s on our last anniversary. This one is not the one if you want to celebrate something special.
Del Frescos is a must visit venue. I'm from UK and have been there at least 20 times over last 3 years. Staff are always very helpful and entertaining. Ask for Gemma. She will make sure you are treated well. Steaks in this place are amazing.
Called and made a reservation for two and still waited 30 minutes to be seated. When finally seated, took a while to get service. Once we did get service, our waitress, Bridget, was phenomenal! She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, very friendly, and provided great service. My wife got the fillet, and I got the New York strip, both cuts of meat were great, a little salty, but still very good. Not enough side options offered to go well with a steak. All said and done, we probably won't return, just because it wasn't an "oh this place is amazing!" kind of feel.
Appears like it would be fine dining, but there's something about it that makes it not. Service is Ok, not horrible, not excellent. They have a tone of people running around. Food is OK too, not great. It's just OK. Went there for Valentine's, and spent quite a bit. Would have rather gone someplace else.

The food here was as fantastic as the service. We ate at the downstairs bar and the two bartenders Mallory and Madison were attentive and professional. The entire staff from the hostesses to the servers were pleasant and efficient. The general manager Gemma and the manager Luis addressed patrons and were attentive to our needs and questions. This is a restaurant I would visit regularly if I lived in Texas. First class.

Miguel the manager is fabulous. I especially enjoy sitting upstairs in the lounge area watching sports and having an ice cold Beer!

My premium ribeye was prepared exactly the way I love it.
My son treated me to lunch there & I was not disappointed. Had the steak salad & it was very delicious & I left there a good full, plus leftovers for a snack later. Nice classy restaurant.
Del Frisco's Grille is a nice place to dine and it isn't as formal as the main restaurants with the same name...prices are moderate, food is good and the drinks are nice as well...
I come here for an occasional drink with wife or friend. Not overly expensive and a nice environment.
