Our usual go-to place at the beach area.
If anything the quality of the meals has declined over the past couple of years.

Very slack and unhelpful receptionist. Busy putting on her bright purple lipstick but won't bother replace a lost membership card so we have to pay for the non member price for the whole meals.

Too many poker machines it seems there is an emphasis getting your cash .once apon a time you only needed to put in 50$ and play for 2 or 3 hours now you need 2 or 3 hundred $ to play for 50 mins .

My wife enjoyed the barramundi and 2 children had kids pizza. The pizzas were quite tasty. I always have mixed thoughts about doing reviews. Anyhow I ordered the sirloin as this place I assumed could do an amazing steak. I will be as honest as I can. The steak was medium rare but almost cold. The potato chips could have been awesome but unfortunately were almost all cold. As I watched them come out with many of the other dishes you could tell this was a batch cook and keep warm to go. Coleslaw was fresh. We don't eat out much but I expect an awesome main for $30. The question is should I have asked their head chef to microwave my main or give them the review here. Luckily their wait staff were friendly. I guess it is an Rsl but I know local Thai and Vietnamese joints where I can have awesome family meal and take home a difference of $50 compared to here. Hopefully their mgmt reads reviews but I assume if they have a large enough status quo of regular diners why would they care ha. Will carefully select at the bistro next time

Great place for food, and live shows. Has the best ribs I know of in the area..loses one star because they got rid of the fancy chips I used to love and serve with normal chips now.
The service in the flame restaurant was noticeably improved last visit which is very pleasing.
The bistro is a great place for a fairly inexpensive eat with a consistent good quality.

Christmas in July and they have Christmas dinners running all through July. Took the little grandkids who ate one meal between the two of them, and they were full as! The Bistro always has fresh food, hot and delicious. There are other restaurants within the club, and despite the renovations in the works, it is still one very pleasant Club to belong to. Great food, lots of live entertainment and all the usual facilities.

Last night (4th March) my wife and I had the misfortune of having Dinner in the Aqua Restaurant.
We have eaten there often and always found the food outstanding but last night we started with French Onion Soup, awful, the onions must have thought so as well as they bouycoted the plate, the the meal I come to eat and love there, the Veal Scallopino Marsala, which in the past is one of the best we have eaten, not last night, the Marsala Sauce had very little if any Marsala in it, almost water. The Veal was in our opinion a couple of years past being able to be called Veal.
We just told the Beverage Manager and left the club and ended up having dinner else where
