Today delicious lunch at the Tapperij. The rain outside could not spoil the atmosphere inside. The waitress let us taste some white wines on arrival, from which we chose the Portuguese. This was followed by an explanation of today's dishes. I chose a delicious light salad with a delicious Cabecou cheese. After this a just well-baked cod. Crispy crust and wonderfully soft on the inside. It looked beautiful with all the small pieces of vegetables around it. The taste was excellent. As a bouncer coffee with all kinds of small treats. I've enjoyed it! I'll be back soon.

Another favourite in Den Haag. Friendly and professional service, great wine list, changing menu with seasonal dishes. Limited number of starters and main courses to choose from means you can be assured it's all super fresh. The atmosphere is also really nice - you feel like you're in someone's living room with bookshelves, quirky art on the walls and other items on display.

Chef Hans Richel presented us with a fantastic 6-course menu as part of Gout de France. Delicious food, nicely matched and, as always, enjoyable service. The atmospheric Tapperij has been a culinary gem in the Archipelago for years and that is an achievement in itself.
Chapeau and a deep bow!

Exceptionally tasty eaten, very nice wine selection. Friendly and helpful staff who are knowledgeable when it comes to finding the right wine with the right dish. Highly recommended if you are looking for an accessible yet high-quality dining experience.

We had a nice evening at Restaurant De Tapperij. This place has a great atmosphere and we had a delicious meal. Meat and fish are nicely prepared here, but if you are vegetarian I would not recommend this place. Despite the good experience, we will not be returning here for the time being. Unfortunately, the prices are too high for us, not quite in proportion to what is offered.

Lovely neighborhood restaurant, French bistro oriented. Quirky fun de siecle interior (pun intended). But most important, above average kitchen. As for an impression of their menu: we enjoyed home made sweetbread and lamb croquettes and a delicious pigeon breast salad as starter, lamb saddle served with asparagus and poached salmon with the most delicious crispy fries (patat) as mains. Washed all away with a good priced Chardonnay and managed to make room for dessert. I considered it one of my more memorable meals in The Hague from last quarter. So definitely give them a try! Tip: they have a nice terrace too!

My husband and I enjoyed our meals very much! He had the wild game plate with hare, boar, and venison and I had the wild duck. Both were beautifully prepared and were accompanied by just the right sides to go with the gaminess of the proteins. All our meats were cooked to perfection! Service was wonderful and the atmosphere was very cozy. Why only 4 stars? Because we could not find a desert that we would enjoy so, really this would be a 4.5 out of 5 because that issue really wasn t a big deal. We will be back!

Versatile menu with a surprisingly tasty menu (including livar pig and sweetbreads !!!), in a super cozy, cozy, old-fashioned warm atmosphere; had a really perfect evening without any dissonance; an absolute must!
