I was the first person at the door in the morning ...

I was the first person at the door in the morning and taking people on a first come, first serve basis is bs. They had four beds and took the four people behind me including one person who didn't even have insurance. He was allowed to go inside and call the Oregon Health Authority to obtain insurance. They told me to come back tomorrow, and that I was a difficult detox case.

The two previous times I was here, they gave me so much Ativan that I was extremely confused and incoherent. I was sent to the hospital both times where I was left to detox with no meds. Nurses are nice but inexperienced. I'm going to Hooper where they know what they are doing.

This is beyond the best Treatment and detox facility I've ever experienced. Yes, it gets busy. They have rules such as any residential and outpatient facilities. They are very simple to follow, I was here for residential for 94 days and have been doing outpatient here for nearly 4 months and they give me the greatest care they possibly can. My counselor is incredible, polite, and caring. DePaul treatment center truly saved my life. I am currently 7 months sober and living a happy and successful life!

We brought our son to get help with his addiction ...

We brought our son to get help with his addiction issues. They couldn t last 30 days and this is suppose to be a 60 day program. Thanks for not helping. Our son needs help and you kick him out over a fight with another patient. Do they expect teenage kids with drug issues to act perfect? I do not recommend this treatment facility for anyone.

Being at DePaul in the beginning was very scary. I was determined to get better this time. I've been through treatment before. It was a very a difficult time for me.I didn't have any faith in myself. My counselor at the time, Erika was absolutely amazing. She helped me through so much. I was very very fragile and she understood me. And I kept in contact with her after I graduated. I was there for 4 months and it was the best for months for me. I continued treatment at another facility...and graduated.. My confidence was built up more than I ever thought it could be! I am currently involved in the Mentor program..it was and still is the beginning of a positive future for me. I thank DePaul recovery Center and always will..and thank you Erika.. for having faith in me

I was very well taken care of. The nurse really overwhelmed me with kindness and were so patient with some of the other patients. It helps to be respectful and consider it can be stressful for them as well with the Virus going around. Best of luck!

My inpatient experience with De Paul was extremely helpful for my recovery from addiction. I have attended more than one facility, and this has by far been the best experience for me.
The counselors are well-educated, empathetic, and supportive. The staff is well-trained and encouraging. And the design of stages of recovery leading to the ability to attend outside meetings and sober activities with others, including family, is a great source of motivation for the clients.
I highly recommend this for people needing detox and/or inpatient recovery services.
My cost was completely covered, including medications, by having Oregon Health Plan as my insurance provider.

DePaul is the only treatment center who's counselor's and staff are second to none! I've been in several treatment centers throughout Portland and other states such as Michigan and they genuinely care for your future and well-being ,not just as a person, but as a productive member and individual of society again! They teach you the skills to recognize your triggers and character-defects that gave me the confidence to build of what I thought I could never get back........"myself!" Thanks for the gift that will always continue to give....the knowledge and know-how to just say no! Thankx DePaul!!
