The best amusement park in The Netherlands. It's pricey compared to others, but it's so nicely themed. Everywhere you look are trees and flowers. Most of the rides are themed and they are themed very well. Almost every ride had something unique.

Great place for the family, good prices food and drink so no need to bring your own

A great park, we had a very nice day here. Make sure you get in as early as possible so you have time to see it all, we had 7 hours and was not enough, at least two days are needed.

Elf Land is just amazing and so magical for children

Great mixture of rides and entertainment. Unfortunately didn't get to try any of the shows but Jorus en Draak is probably the best rollercoaster I have ever been on. Never queued longer than 40 minutes for any ride and prices inside weren't hiked up. Great day out for the whole family.

Efteling is world class, you will rarely find a themepark that has this high quality when it comes to look and feel. The park is well maintained, and all the 'decor' is of high standard. The style, based on the drawings of Anton Pieck, is present everywhere, so you feel like you are visiting fairytale land.
New rides and attractions are added over the years. What started as a playground, is now a theme park that can compete with the Disney Parks on many levels.

Great place to spend the day with your friends and family. There is something for everyone in this park. The attractions are amazing.
I just wish the pictures to be less expensive so I could afford to spend more on that.

A great place to take a family with children to, and this is also a great place for adults. Unfortunately the lines in front of the more popular rides are extremely long (sometimes 120 min). However some of the other rides only had a 10 minute waiting time.

Amazing place. Worth spending 45. Can get crowded around the rollercoasters but was worth waiting in the line. People with kids should take a wooden cart at the entrance. And castles for kids and roller coasters for adults

I first visited De Efteling when I was 5 or 6 and the past 2 years have revisited with my own children.
I still love the beautiful Sprookjes Bos (Fairytale Forest), and also the magical Droomvlucht. For more adventurous types there is plenty of high adrenalin action in the shape of various rollercoasters and rides.
The park itself is so beautiful - it's a pleasure to spend time there.
Worth noting as well is the range and quality of food available in the park, from traditional Dutch oliebollen to freshly made chips, smoothies, fresh fruit & bread, smoked sausages, a vegan stall and much more.

I've been coming to the Efteling all my life and even after all this time it's still a joy to come back every time. Very atmospheric park with fun rides. Especially fun during the winter when they coat the park in snow and have some campfires with hot coco (and the waiting lines won't be as brutal as in the summer). In my opinion well worth the praise and urguably the best amusement park in Europe.

There is something for everyone. From Python to Fantasy woods. Yong and old will enjoy. During High season there is a queue but if you are with a group you hardly notice.

Best parc in the universe hands down. We stayed for 2 nights at the Bosrijk apartments and I have nothing bad to say. Every little negative thing that we encountered was always dismissed by the niceness, helpfulness and smiles of the overall experienced staff. Love love love. This place is magical.

Nice park, you can find a lot of things to do even without kids. Since I come off season some facilities were closed, which was a shame.

This theme park will always have a special place in my heart! Amazing, magical, wonderful! From rollercoasters to the Sprookjesbos and rides for the youngest. Truly amazing

My family and I loved it. This place is for all ages I highly recommend it one of the most amazing amusement parks in world in my opinion.

I deliberately went on a week day with average weather to avoid all the ques and was not disappointed! No waiting for any of the rides and was able to ride multiple times without having to disembark some of the rollercoasters! What a great day!

I cannot recommend going on a quiet day enough!

Plenty of clean and serviced facilities available, I felt safe at all times and the staff were friendly and helpful. Food is overpriced but all theme park food is! Bring your own there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy your own food :)

We were so lucky that the day when we visited not so busy so we tried a lot without long queue. From parking area and inside the park, they played magical music themed to build ambience. The various food that they had also amazing. My favorite is Bob. Unfortunately, they will closed it on September, Get it ASAP while it last. They also provide english version map/words. The fairytale forest is amazing too, you can even find some cute mouse and rabbits that make it more realistic forest for me. You will meet Rapunzel, Hensel n Gretel and even Sleeping beauty. Perfect place to spend time with family, partner or friends (even you are adults)

Such a wonderful park. I come at least once a year and everytime it's just an amazing day!

The park lost its magic with all the corona measurements. Too crowded to keep distance and waiting for hours (100 min waiting for one attraction.) tip: don't go.

Must visit theme park... personally i found it better than Disney Paris!

This place is amazing. Spent 4 nights in the secluded apartment in the forest which is a 10min walk from the theme park. Something for every age in the park. Food and drink reasonably priced, with a great choice. Also, there is only 1 ride that you have to be over 1.30metre.. So my 6year old son could get on nearly everything there. Plus check out the Caro show in the evening. It's brilliant. I'll definitely be going back.

We had a great day, but the weather is not doing good, we can't wait of the dancing fountain 'cause of the rain

The best amusement park I have seen in Nederland. It is big with so many rides and attractions to visit for all group ages. You could spend two or three days visiting all the rides. Amazing scenery eveywhere. Great food and lovely staff. All famous fairytales in "Het sprookjebos" with amazingly creation of the characters and very warm and friendly voice that tells the stories. My kids loved it. There are aslo souvenirs shops, a bit pricey but that's ok I think. You can also buy pictures of yourself in the rides . The only thing I didn't like so much about the park is the long queues especially in summer vacation.

No words can describe this place. I adore it. My son is crazy about it and asks questions every day about it. I would recommend it over places such as disneyland and other big theme parks all over the world. Everybody should visit efteling.

They got everything for the younger and the older kids. The family rides (pagode and the boats) is very enjoyable.

Great place to visit with family and kids. Very well maintained and planned. Plenty of restaurants and stalls for food and drink. Some options for vegetarians. I suppose Efteling tried to provide better options than most other amusement parks. As a vegan you're better off getting your own food.

Fantastic theme park. We loved every minute and didn't want to leave. A real family feel and it had something for everyone of any age. Symbolic is must ride as is droomflucht. In my opinion better than any UK park.

A super magical and fun day out. Almost like Disney land but with a cheaper and less crowded atmosphere. There are great rides and I had an amazing time. There is plenty to do to you occupied all day, yet I would say the park is tailored for children and also suits to special needs.
The food isnt too cheap so I recommend bringing a pack lunch and meeting the elves.

THE Dutch amusement park.
Can be quite crowded but with a bit planing good. Good that they now also have single rider lanes. It did not apply to us, as we went with our 2 small children. They were very impressed by the elves and farietales

Love love love this place. Our first visit -stumbled upon it when researching a trip to Disney. People raved about it and now I am too. A really thoughtful family friendly quaint yet cool theme park. Lovely heritage, really inclusive atmosphere and so much love and care has gone into the place.I really hope to return.

Efteling is like the Disney of Holland. It's an amazing visit. But, it can be a bit dark. Think of the brothers Grimm applied to the displays. Like seeing a display of the evil witch turned into a monster in Cinderella. It's enough to make you gasp. Or Hansel of "Hansel and Gretel" caged and the witch free. The displays are top notch. Just be prepared to accept that the snapshot of the display may not be at the time you had imagined based on your history of the tale. The rides are safe and well maintained. The wait is usually worth the effort. It's 100% worth stopping by to see.

Pales to Disney parks, but still very enjoyable. Nice rides, very easy parking. Closes at 1800 which makes going through the whole park very difficult.

Everything is in Dutch, which kind of ruins it for tourists.

Food choices abd prices are really good

Wow, even as an adult, this is definitely worth your time. I thought the entree price was maybe a little high, but I was told this was the norm for parks like this, but boy was it worth it. I felt like a little kid going on an adventure. This park is not only loose rides that are fun, the whole time you're there is an experience. Everywhere you go there is stuff to look at, and what I like the most, even in the smallest crevices, you'll see some little detail, like a little mouse doll with a house and light or something like that. Just a joy all around.

What a place this is defo better than Disneyland and way cheaper.

This theme park very well maintained and a great joy for the whole family from 3 till 100. Can be very busy at times and you will need at least 1 full day to enjoy most attractions!

This place takes you to the fairyland, absolutely wonderful!

My favourite amusement park in The Netherlands. You could say this is an imperfect version of Disneyland. Created and meant as an accurate representation of the real world, in which fairy tales could co-exist. The stories, the experiences and the different rides all make it so this park is a safe bet for everyone, no matter their age. Do you like thrill rides? Sure, there are some. Do you like fairy tales? They have an entire forest filled with them. Would you like to relax and see some shows? Also possible. Could you see the entire park in a day? Probably. Should you? No way! Come back here and enjoy it just as much as the first time you entered.

Efteling is becoming more of a place for nostalgic feeling rather than a theme park for 21st century. In the time of Virtual Reality and On-Demand Videos, they really need to do better to catch up. Efteling was seriously understaffed, little information was available and the app that was supposed to replace the staff had a very poor performance. There were 60 minute lines for a mediocre short ride through a fairy tale. Some parts were interesting for the kids, and some life performances and the aqua show were nice. But the majority of the parts were rather boring. Not to mention the overpriced food and drinks (a small bottle of soda/water sells for 2.80 )

Amazing park with beautifully themed attractions, thoughtfully laid out and cared for. Many great attractions for young and old; I'd really recommend this park to all ages. If you want a more quiet time, you can check the website which days have more traffic. There are plenty of food and drink stands all over the park, fairly priced for a theme park. Will definitely go again!

It was a beautiful fairytaild themed park, with very fast rolarcosters but also rides where you go in the magical world of fairys and trolls. It can get busy i recommend to go during the school week.

Very fun! We spent almost 7 hours in the park. No lines for any of the rides being off season. They have a wide selection of rides and entertainment, great for all ages. Friendly staff, fun music, fantastic roller coaters. It is one of the inspirations for the Disney parks and it shows. Unique, unforgettable experience.

As much as I m not an avid amusement park lover, wonderful experience for the kids. Quite pricey though.

celebrated my son's birthday Got the cake and all. cottage we stayed at was beautiful. accommodations for travel between cottage and park are in place. lines were not as bad as we thought. kid friendly section was amazing. a fun place where everyone of every age was able to enjoy their stay.

One of the best theme parks I have ever been! Great shows, great attractions, and everyone had as much as fun as I had. You can do there so many different things to cover almost everything :)

Efteling is a park for the family. Huge theme park with multiple areas. Some attractions are more theme based than others, but even if they are a bit random, the park succeed in connecting them somewhat.
The biggest attractions are the Mediaval show Ravelein, that was closed due to "technical issues" but a trip to the restaurant overseeing the venue clearly showed that the show stage was dug up and was not going to host a show for several days.
The spectacular water show at the entrance was also cancelled due to technical reasons.

The bad things asside, you will not find a more wild wooden coaster as "Joris and the dragon".
A well-themed 2 track racing roller coaster with a goal system that reward the winning team.

Also the Flying Dutchman is an intense darkride ending in a outdoor rollercoaster and a splash into the adjacent lake.

Most of the park are based on fairytale from different authors giving the park a variety of different options.
A fun take on the Emporor's new clothes is found in the fairytale woods where some hours can be spent reliving a lot of H.C. Andersen's and other writers fairytales.

The variance in food offers are okay. A lot of traditional netherlandish deep fry snacks, but also fish and chips, wraps and restaurant plates are to be found in the park.

There is no fast pass solution, so prepare to queue. The waiting time for each ride can be found in the app and are somewhat correct.
Use the single rider queues if possible for some of the major rides as wait time may be up to 60 minutes on some popular rides.

Staying at the Efteling hotel will give you both reserved parking (included in the room price) and a 30 minute early entrance to the park. This will give you a chance to go front row on rides like the Baron, that else may be a heavy queue.

Some rides have preshows before entering the actual ride, others have themed waiting lines.

The park is for both young, teens and above, and has a bit of everything. Don't expect to try all trill rides in one day.

THE theme park. Charming, beautiful, well laid-out, with fantastic choice of rides for all the family. Perfect, and great value especially if you stay overnight at the hotel which is a great place for the family. Thoroughly recommended for all ages

It's around 1 hour from amstrdam by car or 2 hours by transportation . It's better to book a hotel near by . I recommend Gest house hotel , it's amazing for families with kids

Great place to visit, fun for all the family. Disabled people catered for, map shows which paths are suitable for wheelchairs, special entrance to rides for disabled.

Amazing park with great entertainment. It's an amusement park with attractions for all ages, and full of traditional fairytales. The price is fair for what it offers. You must go with enough energy to enjoy. There are also beautiful flowers and landscapes to see. It is a Dutch Disneyland, but less commercial and cheaper. It's so worth visiting, I recommend it!

The Efteling is a beautiful and big amusement park with a ' fairy-tail forest ' full of classic dutch fairy tails brought to life. After that you mainly have rides and rollercoasters. We spent 4.5 hours here and saw pretty much everything. A must visit!

Super park for the little ones. We stayed in Bosrijk for 3 days which was just good to get around the park with our kids.
It guess it can be crowed at times, certainly the restaurants around lunch time.
Some rides have a fairly decent age but seem to be a great attraction to younger kids.

Great amusement park, but they should try better to full up empty seats. In Symphonica, usually half the seats are ocupied, effectively doubling the waiting times.
