I recently completed my MBA with DBU and I can recommend this institution, without hesitation and whole hearted. The professors are knowledgeable, genuine and compassionate; as is the rest of the faculty and staff. This school talks the talk, walks the walk and delivers a first class educational experience.

Be very very thorough with your questions with recruiters at Dallas Baptist University. I was told that the "Adult Degree" Programs offered real degrees. Be sure and check. Will an academic graduate program anywhere else recognize a "Bachelor of Arts and Sciences"?

If you are a student, look for real, traditional, four year degrees that you have heard of before. Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, BBA, etc.

As for me, my wages are being garnished for courses towards a "Bachelor's of Arts and Sciences" degree. It is NOT a traditional four-year degree. It is not a degree I want at all.

I explained this to the recruiter. I am seeking a REAL degree. She assured me that it is.

Very questionable recruiting tactics. I consider this extremely dishonest.

As a graduate of DBU in 2003I was excited when my daughter decided to finish her degree there. This place has changed and definitely not for the good. I have advised her to transfer to UTA, UNT or TWU as they all have a better science program, she is pre-med, and the headaches of financial aid have become too much to bear. Since Gary Cook retired this place has become more beautiful but the service and quality has dropped to astronomically low proportions. Certainly won't be recommending it to anyone I know. Just not the school it once used to be.

Sorry

Sorry
The love faded. My daughter is over ten thousand in debt to you without a single credit. When a family tells admins that they will need schlorship funding and are assurred time after time that it will happen. But then they hand you the forms for loan ap. Loans over $100,000.
Pretty much ruin a kids credit before she even gets her first credit hr.
It's dishonest, misleading, and damaging.
When a family tells dbu that they are low income and will need help they shouldn't be given false hope. It's lieing.
Thanks dbu for breaking my daughters heart and killing her dreams.
And let's be real. We all know the athletic department gets the schlorship funding.

Great environment that promotes spiritual growth. The faculty and staff are there for you. Everyone wants to see you succeed in your Christian walk, academics, and life. I made life long friends at DBU and I wouldn't trade my experience for the world.

This place is awesome! I love it here! The students and staff are both very friendly and helpful! They practice what they preach! They are a Christ centered University and they take that very seriously! I was already a Christian before coming here, but my faith has grown and improved since going here! I have felt God's presence and love here! Luckily, the professors don't have a liberal bias and there are no snowflakes or safe spaces here! It is very peaceful! They have a great baseball team with a great coach! Go Patriots!

This school changed my life. The faculty cares so deeply about your success, not only educationally, but spiritually as well. If you are looking for an amazing education, and to be positively challenged in your faith, I highly recommend Dallas Baptist University. Not to mention, it's been ranked the number 1 safest university in the country!

DBU also gives out amazing scholarships. I know several student who were able to pay off their entire first year with scholarships alone. So don't let the price online scare you away. Call the admissions office and they will tell you everything that you would like to know about the university!

You better watch out for Dallas Baptist University.
They may be a smaller school, but they have a huge ambition, as well as legacy. I received my B.S. in Music Business and my M.B.A. in Marketing at DBU, and I recommend their Accelerated 5-Year Bachelors/Masters Program to anyone who may or may not be considering it. I am forever grateful for the education I received from DBU. It's no cliche when you hear that every person there "truly cares for you."

This school is not Christ centered as they claim but money centered. They do not accept students based on education or academics like they claim on their website. But, I guess that is why a majority of certain people attend there. The campus is beautiful and continuing to be embellished.

I visited the rather small campus for a workshop. Sessions were held at the Pilgrim Chapel and the Library. The architecture of the buildings reminds me of the colonial days from the history books. The campus is situated on hilly terrain, but appears to be easy to get around.

Somethings have not changed at all about this wonderful for school even after 18 years. Despite being reminded of how old I ve gotten, I was first introduced to the school back in 2000 when I was being recruited to play soccer here and everything about the school and the people that work there were just amazing, genuine and friendly. Now I m trying to do work with career and job fairs and the people that are working there are still extremely kind and helpful. I ve spoken to several universities and colleges today and in this past week and I had one person that went out of their way to Dallas Baptist University just answer a bunch of questions for me and help me out and point me in the right direction. The difference is that she spent more time doing it and was patient and did not look at it as if it was a hassle or obligation and even helped find me some additional ways to get back onto the campus. I ve had a lot of friends and family members graduate from that school including recent family members and I have a cousin that is about to attend that school and I could not be happier that they are going to a place with such a great faculty and staff along with a beautiful campus. I recommend if you have any questions about career fairs, job fairs, student services, or general questions at all you call and speak to Akita Cook. She was so patient and helpful and stayed on the line with me longer than all the other colleges I ve spoken with combined. I hope that she is given recognition for this as this is a lost attribute at most schools now with everything being automated for students, employers, and others who find it difficult to even reach someone much less have the excellent service from this employee of this great university. Thank you Miss Cook for going out of your way and lastly, if she cannot help you, she will transfer you and find the person/department that can help you.

This school is absolutely amazing, from not only the campus but the professors, and all employees on campus are incredible. The years I spent here were memorable. I graduated December of 2012 with a Business Management. You will create memories here, create new friendship, and have a strong bond with Christ after leaving.

Excellent education with a stomp Christian emphasis for full liberal liberal steppers curriculum. The strong areas are in education, Christian ministry, and business. The hard sciences prepare students in pre-med, and pre-dental programs very well. The school offers 31 masters depress and a PhD and EdD with an interdisciplinary approach to Leadership studies.

DBU is a wonderful university where the classes are small, the professors care about you and the school's focus is on a Christ-centered education. It is the top education college in the US. This campus is led by leaders commited to prayer.

They demand a withdraw fee after I decided to not attend this overpriced school even though I withdrew well before classes started. They are dollar-oriented. Please use your money better and do not fall into this money scheme. It s not worth it.

I still can't bring myself to forgive Pastor Jeffries for his treatment of our faith (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or "Mormon"), but I do definitely appreciate and respect them for the bible teachings about Christ and about strengthening families. Keep up the good work guys!

I attended DBU from 2010-2014 and graduated with a B.B.A in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. The only regret I have is not choosing to do the fast track program where you can get your Bachelor's and Master's in 5 years. My time at DBU completely changed my life for the better. The professors there are amazing and genuinely care about their students. I still remain friends with some of my professors to this day. The atmosphere in general is really uplifting and so positive. I was in a sorority during my time at DBU and fostered many friendships, some of them lifelong. If I could go back and do it all over again I would. I also participated in the Discipleship Program (highly recommended) for two years and had the most amazing mentor who completely changed my life. DBU really is an amazing school filled with countless opportunities and countless ways to build community with other students. DBU is big on getting the students connected, not only with each other but with the Lord and the community as well.

My entire experience at DBU was great. They were building the new chapel when I graduated, but I've been back to visit and it's quite impressive, along with all of the other new construction on campus. Good times, great friends, and an awesome staff.
