This hospital is a joke wife got picked up in ambulance chest pains and couldn't breath she said she felt like she was going to faint and she sits there for over a hour and the doctors are to busy to even go into see her and she is freaking out because she is there alone and wont let her have a visitors to sit with her... we will never return to this hospital.....

I went to the ER and even though i have lost my ins. They still did the tests necessary to find out what was wrong. I ended up being admitted. The nurses, aides, dr's were all wonderful. They were caring, attentive and put me at ease when i was terrified. They treated me so well and with so much compassion. Joanne RN, David RN and Paulette CNA, I will always love you! You are most definitely a credit to your profession and I so much appreciate you all.

The ladies in respiratory and the lab are amazing second visit here!

I was recently at the ER and admitted to the hospital. The first ER visit was great. Had a great doctor and great nurses that were so helpful. The second time, was pure hell. The doctor I had the second time was rude, unprofessional, mean, didn't care about privacy and didn't care about my needs as a patient. He was a complete a**hole! My hospital visit on the 3rd floor was great! The doctor, nurses and staff were so nice. They helped me in any way they could. Despite the one horrible ER doctor, I do recommend Davis as a good hosiptal. Plus, when going to the ER I didn't have to wait long at all, so that's a big plus!

My husband recently had 2 outpatient procedures at Davis Regional Medical Center. We were very pleased with our experience. Working in healthcare has made me especially conscious of the treatment he received as a patient. My expectations were surpassed! Our 16 year old son was with us and I was worried that having both of us, with my husband, would be too much. The staff, from the time we walked in, treated us so well. They were super accommodating to all of us. I can't begin to express our satisfaction with all of the staff. Volunteers, registration, lab,nurses,physicians and everyone else we encountered were great. I encourage everyone to visit Davis. You will be treated with the respect and the care that you would expect from a healthcare facility. Most importantly, you will be treated as an important priority.

Most of the nursing staff, especially the one that sits in with the psychiatrist was very hateful. The groups were good and the social workers were sweet, but the nurse that made a rude comment could very easily hurt someone. Thank you for my care though.

I had to have an X-ray done and it took forever for my doc to send over the correct order, our X-ray staff kept me very informed and was attentive to my needs.

This place I want even call it a hospital. The doctors are damn joke, one visit they give something the the next visit they act lime they can't give that to you , they try to explain as a hospital policy. I went for a miagraine that my medicine wasn't even touching and they gave me toradol and benadryl, I mean really who does that. I went a few weeks back with a miagraine and they actually gave me something for the pain. The same doctor today acted like the was no way they did that for a miagraine. Not to mention the PA straight walked out on me while I was talking to him that's rude not to mention so UNPROFESSIONA!! Today it's like they didn't give a damn about me, it's like they could careless they are ready to go home. This place is a joke and needs to be SHUT DOWN!!!

The staff and nurses at Davis were amazing durning the process of birthing my son! They were attentive, helpful and caring in all aspects of our needs!

I hardly can give them one star! They just take their good old time in the ER . The doctor doesn't even seem to even care about their patient. I won't be coming back !!

What a joke this place is! I stopped at the ER on the way home from a procedure in Winston due to swelling and paralysis in my neck and throat. The so called doctors and nurses were very rude and arrogant. The doctor wanted to argue with everything. Also clearly they don t know the difference between a male and female as they had myself as a female.

Davis has always been a great place to go for my medical care. Everyone is always pleasant to deal with. They make you feel like you're a person and not just a number. The wait time is usually pretty fast. Great hospital to go for your emergencies or specialty care. So the next emergency you have, choose Davis Regional!

Excellent knowledgable medical team that treated me like a person, not just a patient. From the moment I entered the ER through my discharge home from the ICU, I felt very comfortable I was in good hands with a skilled, experienced, and empathetic staff. I was very impressed. I don t hope to have a repeat of my medical problem, but if I do I know the staff at Davis have it under control!

Being an employee for 19 years,Its like my second home,loving staff good people to work with.As I proud to say We take very good care of our patients not only that We acknowledge each needs of individual as well as their family.

Davis Regional is an awesome place the entire staff treats everyone as family!

It is closer to go to Forsyt hospital but Davis is 20 times better in service and patient care

I have been a patient in the Physical Therapy Department. The treatment you can find there is top notch. You are greeted warmly and checked in quickly. The therapists are friendly, extremely knowledgeable and go about tailoring your rehab program to get you up an going again. They have a exercise pool available to aid you in your recovery and you can also attend their exercise classes at different times during the day and evening. In my opinion there is no other place in Statesville that can equal the level of care you get at Davis Regional Physical Therapy.

I was a patient from Natural Beginnings. I had to be transferred to the hospital due to my contractions not progressing. My experience was fine except for the part where the nurse told me that they absolutely had to take my little boy to the nursury for his exam but they would have him back within 30 minutes. Well, that wasn't the case, Thirty minutes passed and I called the nursery to see why my baby wasn't back yet and the nurse said " oh he had to be put on oxygen". I wasn't very happy, I mean the least they could've done was call my room and informed me.

Great staff very friendly i was in the outpatient facility really nice and Doctor Radar was great

Everyone was super nice. The only problem was we couldn't find anyone. There was NO communication what so ever. Pushed the nurse call button and literally after 45 min my husband had to go and fimd someone. They were not busy may be 5 patients in the er. One of the nurses told me they get paid by the hour so they take their time

I was admitted on Thursday with chest pains, after already having 2 heart attacks in the past 2 years. They did a cath after admitting me. Thursday was a decent experience.

Tonight, thought.....completely different experience. I went in with a fever and chest pains; both bad signs after a heart cath, especially when I ve already torn open my incision site. I stood in front of the ER intake nurse (her name started with an L) for a good 20 minutes. She never even looked up at me. I ve never experienced such unprofessional service as at Davis tonight. I walked out and will NEVER return! Statesville may only have two horrific hospitals to choose from, but Iredell county residents aren t forced to choose between worse and worst. I will gladly drive to Huntersville or Winston in the future.

I had a wonderful experience at Davis, everyone was very friendly and expedited my every need. I will definitely return to Davis for my future medical needs.

I was hospitalized here after having 2 heart attacks. I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Davis.The nurses were so kind and caring. Always making me feel that they wanted to help me in every way they could. They made a very frightening time, much better for me and my family, with their kind, professional care of me. I thank them so very much for this.

Took my wife there for behavioral health concerns. Dr in the ER ignored her and sent her home after she explained she was seeing things, hearing things and was possible to harm herself. He wouldn't let her speak to the behavioral health psychiatrist. Took her to another hospital and was immediately and was immediately admitted. This use to be my hospital of choice, Not any more!

Had a wonderful experience birthing my son here. The entire staff was wonderful and very helpful .

Davis Regional is an excellent place. The place is very family oriented and the staff is very friendly.

The nurses act like they hate their job. When you ask for anything they get mad like they didn t come to work. I would never ever ever tell anyone to go to this hospital!!!! It was by far the worst hospital I ve ever been admitted to.

worst hospital in Iredell Co. used Davis for maternity; nurses awful, they make you feel like your an inconvenience to them when you ask for anything. They are always hanging out at nurses station texting on there personal phones. Never received medications, anesthesiologist had to stick me multiple times, couldn't get epidural correct. I ended up with a natural birth after 10hrs of labor. severe back pain from being stuck multiple times. No one knows how to properly stick for an IV, left me with multiple bruises on both arms. Does not have any NICU, basically any complications and they will send your baby off. Billing dept, is like working with uneducated high school drop out. They are double billing me and my insurance provider for the same procedures, My insurance provider has told them (while on a three way call) if they bill me one more time they are turning them in to the Fraud Dept. for investigation. According to my OBGYN she reported the Pediatrician and they have been fired.

We have had several occasions where we have had to visit the Emergency Room, and all occasions have been handled with excellent care from all the staff. From the time we checked in to the time we were discharged, we had the best treatment we could ask for. Everyone is very compassionate, and were always there for anything we needed during our visit.

I brought my daughter to the Emergency Department for care. The staff was very nice and caring. They even gave her a Popsicle to keep her calm. I highly recommend this hospital s Emergency Department.

They treated me like a junky I chipped my tooth the doctor look like a junky not me I need help this happened on 12/23/15 bull crap ibuprofen and muscle relaxers my dentist is closed call them the 23 at 2:00 the one nurse was nice but this is wrong

My husband had PT there. The service was mediocre. Also if you don't pay the bill in full, be prepared to be harassed on a daily basis. We make monthly payments and are still called repeatedly. We will go elsewhere for any medical needs. It's not worth the hassle
...................update on my review. If I could give no stars I would. I have been called and harassed 3 times this week 7/15/13 thru 7/19/13( there have been a lot more calls than this though) about a bill that I make a monthly payment on. I have canceled checks, tried talking with them to take us off the harass list and they refuse. It has been sent to collections because....get this I have not set up a payment plan. If I receive a bill in the mail monthly, send in a check monthly, they cash the check monthly, isn't that a payment plan????

These guys were great! We showed at 4am to deliver our lil baby Ava and they were nothing but great! I m sure everyone has troubles but these guys were great! If I had any complaints it s about the couch I slept on but it was nothing compared to how great the team was otherwise !

Incompetent and no compassion. Went in last night through the emergency unit with my mother. Staff wasn t even wearing masks. When I asked the nurse that night about it, she gave me the worst attitude. Maybe don t work at a hospital if you have breathing problems preventing you from wearing a mask . Patients in the behavioral unit are treated and made to feel like criminals. I would ask basic questions and nurses wouldn t even know the answers. Do not bring your loved ones here.

Arrived at the Emergency Department early in the morning in severe pain. Nurses and CNA's were wonderful. The Emergency Room physician ordered a CT immediately. Next thing I knew, the surgeon was here to do surgery. This all happen within 3 hours. Davis has attentive and compassionate staff from the Emergency Room staff, Physicians, Surgeons, and the OR Team. Could not ask for a better healthcare team.

Going through physical therapy there has helped me out a lot, I just hope to keep myself motivated into continue with the exercises I've learned after I'm discharged.

The place to go for medical need is Statesville. Staff is there ready to help with everything you need for medical treatment from the moment you step in and out of the ER or when you are admitted. DRMC is the best!

I, personally, had an amazing experience at Davis Regional! I am a patient of Natural Beginnings Birth Center in Statesville, and if you want to have a hospital delivery, you are admitted at Davis. I was under the care of Nicole Winecoff (midwife from Natural Beginnings), but the nursing staff was amazing. I can't say enough great things about them.... Especially L&D nurse Meg! She and all the other nurses were so helpful and kind, and also respected all of my wishes. The anesthesiologist was very nice too, and my epidural went smoothly. I am very, very pleased with my experience, and if I end up having another baby, I will be planning on a hospital birth at Davis.

This is the most worst hospital I've ever been to, I'd wouldn't take my dog to this hospital. I'm speaking of the ER Staff RNs and CNA1 not the doctor's. Don't take your family members to go get psychiatry help.

I hated it! The nurses were giving me drugs and told me it was just Motrin. They let me sleep for hours even though I told them to wake me up because my baby will be hungry and I m only breast-feeding and they decided to give her a pacifier for about six hours! When I left they didn t give me any pain medicine at all even though my doctor prescribed it I m pretty sure one of the nurses took it home with her. They told me that I couldn t get up to go to the bathroom after I had my baby until my doctor said it was OK so I had to hold it for 12 hours! When they gave me the epidural which they pretty much forced me to do because all I wanted to do was the IV pain medicine and they told me that they weren t going to give it to me anymore and that I had to get the epidural so I tried the epidural and it was completely wrong I still have back problems today from it and I felt everything during labor and delivery I literally broke my back for nothing! Both of their anesthesiologist suck they got the epidural wrong on not only me but also my sister! They kept telling me when and how I have to push out my baby and I was doing it on my own time that really made me mad! You can t just push until you pass out you have to have breaks when you are pushing! Some of the nurses weren t very nice to me and I guess you could say I had like the worst experience in the world I was so disappointed and angry! I hear wonderful things about Forsyth hospital I would definitely recommend going there over this place!

Davis needs to post prices of common medical procedures! Tired of bill you after the fact hospitals just trying to rip insurance or Medicaid off!

Davis has the best doctors and nurses in the area. Truly caring staff, like a family.

You'll be better off going to your family doctor. You'll get better care and save a lot of money..

I was induced on the 16th ended up having a emergency c-section. My nurse for the night was drunk you could smell the alcohol.she tried to ban everyone from my room including my husband. I started complaining about burning around my incision the 18th I was sent home the 19th being told everything looked fine. On the 22nd I was readdmitted for a infection. There are a few good nurses dont get me wrong but for the most part they are rude, careless, do the absolute bare minimum. I have waited up to 6 hours between seeing a nurse. The lack of communication is infuriating, I like to know what going on with my body.

This hospital does not even deserve a one star! And doctor Taylor is the worst doctor I have ever dealt with, the worst care ever!!! I was in serious pain with injuries from a car accident and was treated as if I just scraped my knee... This place is a death trap! I do not recommend anyone to go here if your looking for good care...

The doctor try to give me a chest x-ray when it was my throat my thyroid I almost died if I didn't leave and go to another hospital I will tell everyone at relay for Life All my cancer patients never to go there and I'm glad I will be a specker you will die if you get this doctor again

My wife recently had or first daughter at Davis. Last year the saved my life after I went septic. After this we found we were expecting and not only is it right down the road from us, I was pleased with the care and service I recieved. I again hold true to my opinion. Over and above assistance and made us feel comfortable with questions and concerns. Never a dull day with plenty of smiles and would recommend birthing here any time. I wish I could give more stars. They deserve a bigger facility and just take over irredell memorial.

Went last night after going to Urgent care with chest discomfort, vomiting and just not feeling good at all. They did get me straight back and done ekg xray and blood. Little while later came back and said you didnt have a heart attack so you can go now. Ok well anything in my blood or xray? She left came back with my blood work on a peice of paper handed it to me and said here you go. As if I could read it! Good thing is I wasnt having a heart attack but I have no idea why Im having these symptoms.

I was recently in the ER with my husband who was experiencing the pain of a kidney stone. It was not crowded and we were taken back pretty quickly after I assured the desk girl that he was in a lot of pain. We were there four hours while they continued to give him increased doses of pain meds to ease his suffering. There were a couple of problems I need to mention. One, the physician and nurse working when we got there went off duty, but did not tell us and didn't seem to have told the doctor who was coming on board anything at all. We had to request to see a doctor before discharge and had to request scripts for pain meds. THEN when we received the scripts....we later realized that one of the pain meds was the EXACT medicine that my husband had told them he was ALLERGIC to!!!! Thankfully, he had gone online to check the brand name of the generic he was given, or he would have been even sicker than when he went in! Needless to say, this upset us very much, that they were so careless with his discharge. This kind of mistake could certainly hurt someone or even be fatal, so be sure and ALWAYS check the meds you are given!!!!

My recent surgery experience was excellent. Every department I encountered was efficient, professional and compassionate. Thank you second floor for providing quality post OP care.

I wrecked my motor cycle and came in with a swollen hand. It was completely empty and they took me in. After a 3 hour wait they finally took me to get my scans. These scans took no more than 15 minutes. Another 2 hours later they finally tell me my hand is broken, as if you couldn t tell from it being the size of a softball. Did I forget to mention I was given an 800mg Motrin for pain. Now I ve been here for 6 hours and I m still waiting. There is no reasonable explanation for this to take a 4th of a day to complete. Honestly I should charge them for my time.

The nurses and staff treat the patients with dignity and respect. They truly care about the patients from admission to discharge.

DRMC gave exceptional care for my sister while she was sick! The ER staff was very attentive and so was the MD. Thanks to them she was referred to an outside resource and is getting the gastro care she needs!

I had an outpatient surgery today at Davis Regional Medical Center. The care was beyond excellent, each staff member truly treated with compassion. They ensured I was comfortable every step of the way. Thank you, thank you, thank you to this excellent surgical team.

My husband's surgery was complex and scary. The staff walked us thru each step, made sure we were comfortable and stayed with me from beginning to end. Just a great experience!

ICU is the worst I've ever seen at any hospital. ER was good but no point in going to ICU there are only 2 nurses there that are any good. The rest could care less about the patient

Had surgery today, the nurse i have does not seem to care at ALL ask for a cup of ice and drink still haven't got it yet and that was almost 2 hours ago

I want to thank all the Maternity staff at Davis that gave me excellent care, after they saw the danger my daughter, Janisha was in and contacted Dr. Kepley and staff, and got the process started, and saved my babys life. My Miracle Baby. Thanks to Davis, yall are the best! My Angels! Merry Christmas!

My grandmother recently fell and needed to be transported to Davis. When we met her there (she came by EMS), there was a room (and full staff) immediately ready for her. After a series of tests and observations, she was able to go home in under 4 hours. We could not be more pleased with the nurses, doctor, cleanliness of the room, attention to detail, and the feeling that we were "VIP" patients, even with a full ER. Thank you Davis for caring for us so well!

I am eternally grateful to Davis Regional Medical center for helping me deliver our daughter into the world. The nurses, doctors, pediatricians, staff, nutritionists and anaesthetist were excellent in caring for us. They saved our lives when labor got rough. They watched over us and made us feel supported. Definitely will be coming back if we decide to have another baby. Compassion for their patients is what really makes this hospital thrive.

My birth plan took an unexpected turn but the staff was able to quell my fears and perform my procedure without incident. After my procedure the staff that looked after me were very attentive and caring. I was made to feel very comfortable. Also they really loved on and provided great care and assistance for my newborn.
