Wow unbelievable definitely need to find a new sheriff. in less than 2 hours an outside team finds and help solve a missing person case yall not only try to run them off but are Disrespectful and Condescending you work for your Constituents not for your ego
Just saw adventures with purpose about an 8 MONTH CASE THAT WAS SOLVED IN 1 HOUR. I am so angered first at the officer being disrespect in the beginning of the video saying "He's not in there" how can you even be an officer after saying this. You should have treated this case like it was your own son.
This is one Sheriff's Department that needs body cameras on all of their deputies. after watching on youtube of the Nicholas Allen case on how Adventure with purpose help this Department and treating them like criminals they should thanking them and reimbursed for their time and travel! Any law enforcement that does not want to be filmed has something to hide! This Sheriff's Department is Lazy and Incompetent! I hope the Allen Family seeks an attorney and sue this Sheriff's Department!

2/18/2021: Called regarding trespassers on my back patio. Looked like they were trying to break in my back door at 2:30am. This was two weeks ago (2/6). Detective called that day per dispatch; said he'd check with his sergeant, call back with an email address, and have me email my security camera footage to them. I called again a few days ago; no courtesy of a return call: crickets. No wonder people are preparing to defend themselves since there's absolutely no response from law enforcement!
I find it absolutely shameful how the deputys and investigators treated the recovery team in the Nicholas Allen missing persons case. Absolutely shameful.

I am truly shocked to witness the lack of understanding and empathy this department had in regard to the Nicholas Allen case, from the very beginning, when his family requested their help and services. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. No copy/pasted apology can correct the wrongs your department made in grossly mishandling this case. An obvious disregard for human life. How do you sleep at night?
This is Jonah fleenor does Davidson county sheriffs office know a Surry county probation officer was present at the recovery. Also David Tate was working at the speedway in that county on 1/12/21. Surry county is trying to cover one of their family members being involved. I have had several deputies come to my home including 2 twins and a heavyset woman who looked like the one walking by the river with purple hair the twins one had hair the other one didn t had the name tag Robertson. Also a blue Toyota suv with a white top has been coming by my home he is married to a Hispanic and has a daughter named Gabby Norris . I have court coming up snd Libby combs works in the DAs office and I have a no contact order against her and her son named Travis combs
