This agency is the worst. They don't even deserve 1 star. Once you have 1 phone call into them they just continue to show up every year. Using the same reason. They call the police on you making up lies. They literally threaten you. Each caseworker changes what your being told. I have complied with there threats. My children are not abused nor neglected. They have food water clothes and a stable roof over there heads. I'm not on any drugs either. I have contacted a lawyer and will be appealing there so called open case.

Dealing with a particularly awful caseworker now.. she referred it to the local pd.. I ll let y all know how it goes..

Update: local pd closed the case in 10mins saying there was NO evidence of abuse or neglect in my home with my children.. it didn t need to take a police office to figure that one out..

This is a literal abuse of power and waste of resources. What good is being done when there are children that legitimately being abused and need help, but instead I have multiple caseworkers and the pd called in for my case to be shut in 10mins??

A real evaluation of this department needs to be done.. complete unprofessionalism.. and it doesn t just stop with the caseworkers.. higher ups give atrocious treatment as well. Clearly they all need to go back to class for properly handling ones self in a public service profession.

CYS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE.. meaning know your role and quit attempting to intimidate the wrong people.

Any way I can get a return call? You sent me a letter about my child with no explanation and then cant even give me the peace of mind or respect for that matter to clarify what even happened to/with him. Ive been calling and leaving messages for SIX MONTHS! This is cruel mental and emotional abuse.

Most horrible experience ever! The caseworker my daughter is working through is very confrontational and is doing everything she can yo turn the mom and my daughter against each other. Because the supervisor will not return her calls , after 19 months with the kids they will be moving to New foster care within 2 weeks even though the kids are striving. The caseworker lies to cover her laziness and made the statement to us in front of families United that going forward mom will see kids even if she has dirty urine and that this is all about helping mom not the kids. SO SAD. Do not recommend fostering thru dauphin county children and youth.

No help and really not interested in keeping families together!

Their mission statement says that they strive to keep families together, which is the exact opposite of what they do!! They strive to rip families apart and try to keep parents and children separated. They do not care about what is best for the children, they just want to place them!!! The more children the can place the more funding they get. They don't want to place children with extended family either, they want to push foster care. These people are cold heartless and do more damage and don't try to help people at all. They try to make if as difficult as possible to get your kids back. They straight out lie to you and are trained to find your weaknesses and exploit them. Their goal is to break you down emotionally and place your kids in foster care. IF I COULD GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE RATING I WOULD.

Kelsey is the worst case worker, she is very disrespectful doesn t care about anyone but herself and needs a reality check. Do your job don t bring your personal problems to work. NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!!!

Granddaughter was there. Would not return calls. Let her pick out where boys should go. Not allow family to see them . Put in bad place. Supervisor not very nice. Never checked policy with manager if boys could live in apartment overcrowded. Hid them. 2 people living there with criminal records. Worse CPS ever. Back in 2015 little boy dead in attic and girl on second floor not good. Went to house and never checked.

Unanswered phone calls, missing paperwork, taking the full 60 days to finish the report and lying about results of my drug test. I have no faith in a program that pretends to have the best interest of my child at heart when they fabricate and then deflect.

This is my 3rd time dealing with CYS they are bs I've been lied to playing games trying to catch you in what lying I called supervisor 3 times no response my father called no response but I suppose to do everything they want were suppose to work together they don't
