It's a great place and the idea of Your Song is ingenious, people can sing.
In the city where I live, for two summers in a row we have been singing together in the summer months and they probably met 40-59 people each time. Delightful thanks to Faber and the pig choir.

Fantastic sound and atmosphere! Of you're tall (long legs) you might struggle in the seats in the Balcony 1 area - im 178cm and didn't have an issue, but my friend at 195cm only just managed. If you're tall try and get an aisle seat.

Over the last 10 years I have been to a Koncert at DRs koncerthus a few times a year, so now I feel it s the time for a review.
First impression of the venue is why are we standing on a construction site?
Then you get inside and think Are you sure this is where they play epic classic music?
The walls in the foyer are grey, boring and the staff have to direct everybody around due to an artistic maze of construction like interior.

However, this is all a facade to create contrast to the most amazing piece of architecture ever created to facilitate music.
I m not gonna try to describe the room itself with words, but trust me that you have to experience this place at least once in your life.
On top of the visuals, you also get amazing sound and one of the best orchestras in the world, and the seats are just as comfortable as they should be. The perfect experience.

In the break, you get back to reality and is once again met with grey walls, and a bar with waaaay to little staff, making you waste your whole break waiting in line, for a very limited selection of drinks.

After the performance there is a 30% chance of a reception in the bar where you are not invited, meaning no relaxing lounge and drinks for you. If would have been nice though, since the 2 lane car exit can t handle the 300 cars that want to leave all at once, and you have to sit around anyway.

The contrast between total epic and absolute failure is so clear that you start to wonder if this is all part of the art, and that was the plan all along.......?

Go there. Be patient. Enjoy the performance. Laugh at the chaos.
Trust me you won t regret it.

The Concert Hall is a mega cool place for all age groups, and the sound in their concert rooms is top notch. The only negative is that you sit very squeezed on the chairs and have almost no movement of the legs. This can get tiring during an entire concert.

The concert hall is beautiful and the sound is top notch. But when you pay so much money for a ticket to the first balcony then you would expect that there is better room for the legs.

Excellent concert and good seats, as well as a service minded staff. However, it unfortunately drastically pulls down that the lighting conditions throughout the building are under all criticism. The light in the floor and on the walls dazzles and is very bothersome when moving in the foyer, on the stairs and in the hall itself.

Lovely, modern venue with interior design in warm and welcoming colours, great spaces and a concert hall optimised for excellent sound. I went there for comedy and now want to go back for a musical experience as well!

I had a fantastic experience with Gilberto Gil and his orchestra, among others. He presented his grandchild of 4 years, she certainly has a very big career in front of you as a vocalist. The concert hall is also a very good place to use in connection with eg. Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
