I don't know the world is messy, and I am an Asian.its okay it's always cause and effect. I just pray for them for the better life.may they be happy, may they be well, may all purpose be fulfilled.

***SUPER HELPFUL STAFF***

I was there on a temporary visit. I had to print / scan / email some important documents in rush mode. The front desk gave me a temporary pass (with my DL). Special kudos to the lady in-charge of the technical section. She helped me resolve issues with printing and scanning of the documents. Couldn't have done it without them. Thanks again ladies!

It used to be all right. My siblings and I used to walk to the library all the time. However, as I got older, I started noticing more things, such as the racism and constant staring from people. For example, I was studying for AP Chem there, and this old white homeless woman kept muttering how she hated foreigners. (*b***, I'm a citizen and my family pays taxes of which you're currently taking advantage). No one stepped in to help me. Thank you, weenie community. When I'm looking for books, these sketchy hispanic men just all sit there and stare at me...it's pretty uncomfortable. The staff for the most part is nice, and this library has most books that I'm looking for, so that's the only redeeming factor. Other than that, the racist/rude people do need to go.

It's the latest it's the greatest it's the lie berr eeee. Books DVDs renting laptops, all sorts of services. But folks talk too darn loud now. No more shushing like they used to. If fact they are the loudest the clerks.

I like their tech center for browsing the net, resume printing, faxing...etc. Great staff who are available to help. They have have a little cafe that provides coffee, tea, water and snacks at very decent prices.

I tutor at the library and it's a great meeting spot. It reflects the great community of Danbury, CT and the staff are always helpful. One time a guard even carried some hefty books out to my car for me! They've got a wonderful selection of dvd's as well!

People are always nice and very helpful here. They have a very good selection of books and a business literature section that has books I actually want to read. There are private study rooms in the back as well.

Absolutely terrible. Honestly the atmosphere is pretty decent, if you don t mind screaming kids and careless librarians. Today, one librarian even accused me of STEALING PENCILS. Grown adults accusing a respectable teenager of taking pencils??? What else do they do with their time? Watching thieves instead of helping kids find their books. They are just despicable people. Let s not even go and talk about their technology. The computers are extremely slow and the wifi is public but usually lagging. This place has gotten deterioratingly worse for the past four years.

The Danbury Library provides excellent services to the public. It is a relatively small library, but the staff are all superb. They are knowledgeable, helpful, polite, and dedicated. The book and video collections are small, but good and well selected. Because it is a small library, the collections could be improved--but this is not the NYPL system, and it is good. Above all, the library is a welcoming place dedicated to the education, entertainment, enrichment, and well-being of the community.

The children's library is excellent and the programs for children are extensive and wonderful.

One of the library's valuable resources is an extensive language lab focused primarily on teaching English to immigrants. It is an underused resource, but I am sure that it has been invaluable to many people.
