I have had nothing but good and great experiences with dak. They are good with their repairs the office staff is always very polite.They go above and beyond to work with you on late rent offering payment plans.This is why I stay and been at this location of 1230 e Singer circle for years.
Worst place we have ever rented been with out washer and dryer for months if u don t pay on the first of the month they go to court and file eviction even though the lease states we have until the fifth. They will literally go to the court house and file for eviction every month on you Then when. You give a 60 day notice they wait 2 weeks and say that a bunch of neighbor's said we smoke weed even though we have been here for 4 years and nothing like this has ever been brought to my attention Long story short they will take about 7 months to fix anything and when you say enough is enough they will try and screw you in any way they can to keep the security deposit which is like 3 times the rent Not worth it Go through someone who isn t trying to be a Fortune 500 franchise
One of the best property management companies that I have worked with. They do a good job on keeping up the property inside and out, Quick response to maintenance concerns and easy to work with/schedule. Email alerts to all tenants if there is an issue that the entire complex needs to be aware of. Long term resident, I would rent from them again should I need to move.
My experience DAK Properties has been overwhelmingly positive. I cannot stress how responsive the staff has been to any questions or requests on my end. They are also extremely accommodating and courteous in regards to notifying tenants about any maintenance that will require repairmen/painters being in the building. Quality apartments for a great deal, what more could you ask for?
My wife just inquired for a two bedroom in Menomonee falls, felt like we were discriminated against for have two children ages 6 and 8 yrs old. They told us kids needed their own rooms. That was their way of trying to get us into a three bedroom. Wisconsin occupant laws states 6 people for two bedroom apartment. It's only the 4 of us. They also asked what sex my kids are, if they are male or female!!? Does it matter? What kind of relevance is that? You would think considering we are in an on going pandemic, they would be more open to business. Would never rent from Dak Properties.
I recently left my apartment for a new job in a different city, and I will miss my apartment most of all. More than just the apartment and location, DAK Properties was a great company to work with. They were responsive to any questions or service issues I had, and were a good company to rent from. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an apartment in the Milwaukee area.
Be careful renting from these people. They will find any way to keep your security deposit. I lived in the apartment for 3 yrs. I was charged for normal wear and tear of carpet. The carpet wasn't even attempted to be cleaned. I kept this apartment clean. When I moved the apartment was still in the same position. I never hung a picture on the wall. These people will try anything just to keep security deposit and also ask for more pay!!!!! Please read reviews before renting from this place!!!!!
I ve been here for about a year now, and have had nothing but good experiences. The landlord David is great (even helped pull our car out of snow when it got stuck), the rent is very reasonable, and they always pick up the phone quickly when we call.
I was denied due to a judgement on my background report for a payday loan2 years ago, and my Experian score was 5 points below requirement, although they told me they use TransUnion before I completed the application. I realized the score requirements are 550 in Milwaukee and 600 if you want to move out of Milwaukee. I was not offered the option for a co-signer I was simply denied. I had been warned by my peers that this company contributes to the segregation and barriers that we as a people fight so hard to rise above by having certain limits for certain areas. Just another way of suppressing people of color. Pay attention to the reviews
