I would eat here every day if A) I could afford to and B) their Traditional Eclairs were a socially acceptable food group. Try the tomato soup and grilled cheese while you're at it. You won't be disappointed!

One of my favorite bakeries in Seattle and if there is parking out front when I pass by I stop in. I usually pick up the potato loaf to go with dinner. The cookies are spendy but worth it and sometimes they have little bags of day olds that are a deal. Takeaway sandwiches are tasty and filling too and they usually have a vegetarian option. There are only a handful of seats outside the bakery so this is more of a place to pick up treats than linger. I picked up a gorgeous passion fruit tart the other day that was as delicious as it looked.

Visiting from San Francisco, I heard so much about this place. But it was like warm at best. I had the mini version of the coconut pie. It was okay but having explored bakery shops in SF, NYC and actually a few more in Seattle during my trip, there was just nothing special about this place. I probably won t be coming again but who knows, others may like it.

If you only get one chance in this life to visit Dahlia, I m telling you, don t waste it. Order the coconut cream pie. The triple coconut cream pie is what put this place on the map. They have a great selection of pastries, and they are all delicious. But coconut cream pie has never known such heights.

All you need to do is try their granola. Fresh, wholesome and hearty. This is an awesome treat whether you're stopping by to sit outside or a quick treat for your partner when heading home from work!

I thought it was pretty good...not 5-star French good, but good. I appreciated that their sweets were not overly sweet. Staff was friendly and helpful when asking for a recommendation. Place is small and outdoor seating is limited.

Delish!!!

Delish!!!
Got these made to order donuts. They looked like baby beignets...but they were rolled in cinnamon sugar and came with mascarpone and seasonal jam for dipping...it was touch pricey but worth every cent!! As a baker myself I found it to be inventive and completely "GLORIOUS!!!"

Literally a 1 minute walk from my job! I love their selections of sandwiches and desserts. My favorite go to breakfast item is their scrumptious bacon Sammy. Sometimes I order the chocolate chip cookie & peanut butter cookie and omg it s so delicious. It is a bit expensive but it is belltown/downtown Seattle so it s expected.

Personally the famous cream pie was not as good as expected but (unexpectedly) the croissant was one of the tastiest ones I ve ever had. The staff was not really helpful or friendly when I visited there so overall it s a 4-star for me. But definitely would love to come back when I have a chance!

I got a slice of their Triple Coconut Cream pie. It's extremely rich and decadent. The slivered onions and coconut flakes were wonderful. I do wish it had more of a crust and was a little cheaper.

The Dahlia Bakery is small and Mighty. Its main claim to fame is the Coconut Cream Pie which comes in every size - from a bite ($2) to a 9" ($36). But everything is amazing.

Breakfast sandwiches ($6 avg) are fantastic. Sweets are superb - Eclairs ($5), Caramel Apple Brioche pull apart rounds ($9), Cookies ($2), Brownies ($4) - that's just the tip of the iceberg in this walk-up that holds 4 customers at a time, max.

Round this out with great coffee and super friendly service...and I'm glad I don't live closer! I'd gain 20 pounds!

Food was good and staff was friendly, however a simple grilled cheese was ruined by the homemade bread that was so porous that most of the cheese melted through the holes. Everything else was good. My wife had the turkey and broccoli sandwich that cost a dollar or two more and was fantastic. It felt hit or miss, for the most part, but we did try the coconut cream pie and it was great as advertised

Hazelnut chocolate tart - actually chunks of hazelnut in a chocolate tart, as opposed to a Nutella-esque tart filling.

Gingerbread cookie - one of our favorites. Seasonal though, as I found out last spring. They only have them in the fall/winter.

Chocolate truffle cookie - tastes like a brownie. Delicious. Almost like it better than the gingerbread cookie...

Walking down the street to return to my car and noticed a line of people outside of this place. Stopped to see just what everyone was doing here. Got a cookie and a small ginger berry cake to bring home. Both were really good!

The cakes, to me, were a bit expensive but from what I've tasted might be worth the cost. The cookies were $2 each, which is high to me however tasty. People were eating the breakfast type foods and judging by the line this place is known to be good.

The inside was very small, maybe 3 customers could fit inside to order. While having some good baked goods I will try other bakerys in the area before returning, nothing bad here just nothing to bring me back to try.

I went to Dhalia for brunch and was a bit overwhelmed, but loved their breakfast sandwich and cookies at their bakery location - attached to the main restaurant. I also love that they open early on weekdays so you can grab your morning fix.

What a disappointing experience.

What a disappointing experience.
I paid $42 dollars for a pie that Borracchini's sells for $4.99. I ordered one of their (in)famous coconut pies and drove into town to get this for my best friend's 40th birthday. It was supposed to be a big deal. It was a mistake. First, it had the texture and taste of instant pudding with dry coconut dumped on top of the goop. That was bad enough. The crust was as dry as plaster around the rim but a soggy mess at the bottom. The kicker, though, is they baked it in a cracked pie plate which of course we couldn't see until it was served and of course I couldn't return which forfeited the deposit. Total ripoff.

Coffee, solid for Seattle. Baked goods, to. Die. For. I'm from the east coast, no one has the bagel done right over here. But this bakery!! Still, they have the best croissant I've come across and beautiful cookies

Very cute bakery that sells breakfast items, pastries, pies, and sandwiches, among other items. They also have a variety of birthday supplies and cards. My only complaint is that the prices are higher than usual (a greeting card is $5, 6 donuts are $8.50), but it makes sense given that it's under the same ownership as Lola across the street.
