D.C. Centre Review

Had a wonderful time!! A few receptions going on at one time, and it still went smoothly! I would recommend!

We had our church anniversary there.The facility was very nice. the staff was good. The only down fall was the cooking of the meat. It was not done. Our guest was not very happy with thst

We used the DC Centre over Labor Day weekend for our wedding. The process leading up to our big day was made super easy by Sharon, and she was so great about responding to all questions in a timely manner. The decor package we were given was gorgeous, and the fact that they took care of all the set-up and take down was a huge weight off our shoulders! Our guests raived about the food, and loved how spacious the ballroom was. From a work convention to a large wedding, the DC Centre is the place for you!

My sister had a ceremony/reception here this past weekend. The service here is unacceptable. They make you feel like you are more of a inconvenience than anything. The staff are immature and rude. One one the bartenders was throwing ice while my sister was saying her vows. Completely disrespectful!! Other staff that were servicing tables through dinner were walking around on the phone using inappropriate language. Staff phones were ringing during my sisters ceremony. The guys that were bussing tables were standing around crowding the bars all night. One of them kept asking if he could have some of that (money) every time I paid for a drink. This is unacceptable!!!!

A beautiful facility inside and out. I attended my church anniversary there. The food was ok.

We had an excellent experience at the DC Centre. Sharon and her team did a great job taking care of us and answering all my pre-wedding nervous-bride questions. They made our wedding hall absolutely beautiful, "dressing" the room with the chandelier and light-wall. The room coordinator gave me an in-person tour of the venue when I was dropping off our wedding decorations. (Our first tour was virtual due to Covid, lead by the effervescent Sharon.)

Sharon made it possible for us to have a Friday night dress rehearsal. She also was able to accommodate our florist and DJ, allowing them to come in early to get set up, since we were having the wedding and reception in the same room. There was a little confusion regarding this, but we were able to get it cleared up.

There were a few things that would have made my experience 5-star. In the bridal room, there were no hooks to hang dresses or coats. Also, I think leaving the code to the bridal bathroom on a small card in the bridal room would be an excellent touch. That way we wouldn't have to remember the code, we can just look at the card. (I say this because I was told the code, but forgot it in the hubbub of the wedding day.)

Overall, we had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend the DC Centre. :) Thanks so much, Sharon and team!

DC Center went above and beyond for our banquet. Sharon and her staff were amazing and made our event even more special. I honestly can't say enough about how pleased we were with everything. We actually can't wait until next year!

The staff at the DC Centre are rock stars. They were accommodating in every way. The manager, Sharon, gave us a great price for the hall, was extremely nice and professional the whole way. On the day, her staff made sure we were felt like royalty, kept me updated on any sillyness from the guests and did it quietly so that everyone enjoyed themselves. I highly reccomend this place for a wedding or big event.

Due to Covid our DJ cancelled the day before we were supposed to get married and Cathi was extremely helpful in finding us a back up DJ within 30 minutes of contacting her. She was wonderful throughout the planning process and finalizing our details with answering all of our questions, and we had a lot of them. Our decorations got put up exactly how we wanted them, our reception was gorgeous! The wonderful young woman who helped me with my bridal suite restroom code was there for all of our questions and was on point with asking us when to do things during the reception. The bartenders, event staff, and security guard were all amazing. We highly recommend booking your big event with them!
