Do not be fooled by the skewed and invalid star ratings given by employees as they have been offered gift cards in return for their 5 star google reviews. This is fraud. If you are considering contracting an agency to care for your loved one, pass this one by. Unprofessionalism, incompetence, and bias is what you ll find in dealing with the owner or the long time office manager. When I was experiencing numerous missteps over the course of one year with the agency, I asked to speak to the owner to politely and professionally voice my concerns so that he could help resolve the issues and identify possible solutions and I was met with a defensive attitude and a general lack of concern about the problems. Basically he suggested the issues didn t exist. His idea of a solution was to email me a testimonial from one random and less than credible former client (which is his identical reaction to anyone daring to give him a one star rating on google as well), thus implying that my concerns weren t valid and he was going to prove how great the agency is with a testimonial. Furthermore, after reaching out to the owner, the agency suddenly terminated working with my loved one with absolutely no notice to me. There are many other agencies in the Lansing area. Any of them would be better than Cypress.
I would recommend working here and sending your loved one! they are very flexible and caring with their employees and show tender love and care to their clients! amazing corporation!
I worked for other agencies, and this one has been the best to work for. They're willing to work with you on your schedule and are very good and fitting you with clients. Would recommend people to work here.
Inconsistent care, no call-no shows frequently, little to no communication from management, high turn over rate. Beware!!!!
I've worked for many (at least 5) home health care agencies and Cypress Home Care has by far thoroughly impressed me! I feel that they truly care about their emplyees which in return helps myself and my co workers to strive to succeed and see our clients do the same! I would also like to note it takes special kinds of people to work in this field and I feel that Cypress Home Care does a phenomenal job selecting care givers for our clients!

Love Cypress Home Care. I have experience working in home care as a direct care worker and as an early childhood/elementary certified teacher. Cypress is by far the most professional and friendly home care company I ve experienced. The company really cares about all the clients and equally care about the staff. This company isn t a franchise Home Care company but they should be because the individual care and kindness they give to staff and clients should be a requirement across the board. I m happy to recommend this company to anyone in the community looking for care for their loved one and direct care workers looking for an great place to work.
