Awesome food and wonderful heart for those less fortunate.
Awesome food and wonderful heart for those less fortunate.
Great food, service, and love music. The food here is so good and fresh. Everyone is really friendly. Great place to eat and talk.
Wonderful food...great atmosphere...cozy and a very kind and pleasant staff.
I found the owner to be incredibly rude. I will not be back.
Lots of Jesus stuff, little spendy and nice ambiance.
First visit was fantastic. Jazz band for Saturday brunch, very relaxing and enjoyable.
Awesome. Good food. Can't wait to go catch that brunch menu.
Great food, great mission, and great people. If this place had a more conspicuous location it would explode.
Fish Tacos were great & salad with grilled watermelon was also exceptional!
Great food and service. They have really good gluten-free bread as well.
Great find! We came here for the museum and we were pleased to find the cafe.Fresh seared ahi tuna and fruit infused spinach salad - awesome! Thanks to the staff and chef for a great experience.
This place have the best breakfast selection and setting for a quiet and relaxing ing wake up. You must try their Irish coffee on a cold morning to kick start your day.
Great ambience. Delicious food served with smile & class at a great price!
Always fresh ingredients & comfortable atmosphere. Vermont maple salad with grilled salmon was excellent
Previous review: Phenomenal chicken salad. The avocado ranch is delicious! And if you are lucky enough to be there on a day that chef Joey does a special of his, it will blow your mind! Update: Chef Joey is no longer at this restaurant. He has apparently gone into private practice. No surprise there considering his high level of expertise.
Edit: Never going here again. Yes, the food is good, not wonderful but good (a bit overpriced). But, my family and I will not support a business where the employees are treated with such venom. I received the wrong plate, it came to the right table but the employee sat the plates in front of the wrong people, 3 of our party of 5 were in the restroom. When we came back to the table we laughingly exchanged our plates with one another. The owner witnessed this and berated the employee loudly and in front of everyone. Just wrong! No excuse for treating fellow human beings this way!
The Vermont Maple Salad is delicious! The friends I dined with were complimentary of chicken salad & the croissants.
Just finished very generous portion of chili with a fabulous roll. They also have superb corn bread.
Overpriced for things you could just get at walmart
Mint Julep tea is amazing! Everything is great here!
Love Cyb n Shea's! I got the Chicago Beef sandwich with their mixed chips. It was so tasty!
Cyn Shea's has a delicious Saturday morning brunch with a jazz band playing in the background. Their blueberry pancakes are exceptional!
Very pleasant atmosphere, excellent quality food. A little tricky to get in and out of, but worth the effort.
A pretty good place to go. I think they are hurting from the road construction. I would say the food is better than the service, or at least when I was there.
I ONLY BEEN HERE ONE TIME..BUT I WILL BE BACK..GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE..I ORDER THE BREAKFAST OMELETS WILL BE REPLICATING THESE @ HOME..YUMM..PRICE WAS OK..LOOKING AT THE MENU I THINK THE PRICES COULD BE LIKE $1 OFF..BUT IT WASNT TOO BAD..ONLY LOOKED AT BREAKFAST AND BUNCH MENU..SO CNT SPEAK FOR DINNER BUT I WOULD LIKE TO TRY A PASTRY AND A DINNER ITEM @ THE LEAST. ONCE I TRY SOME MORE ITEMS, THEY MAY RECEIVE 5 STARS LOL
Food is great. . . And the concept and social conciousness. . Lifting
Good food ,very reasonable, polite staff and comfortable setting.
I wish I could put 3 1/2 stars. Mac and cheese was yummy and so was my salmon sandwich but it was soggy underneath. I couldn t figure out why. My daughter thought her chicken panini was okay. The prices are a little steep. Very quaint restaurant and the employees are very friendly.
Had Cyn Shea s delivered this morning to a staff meeting at work. If I were to just rate the food, of course 5 stars. However, I found the interaction with the lady discomforting. Trying to make conversation with her as we set everything up I begin to ask her about the food that was ordered. Inquiring specifically about the grits casserole, I ask her if it s comparable to city grits at another restaurant. Instead of politely responding that she didn t know what city grits were like...instead she pretentiously responds, I don t eat at chain restaurants, so I wouldn t know. Rude. Know what you re saying and how it can be received whether those be your intentions or not.
Perhaps next time we will have that chain restaurant cater for our business
Pleasant spot making very good coffee. Nice work space, though it fills up. A bit expensive for what you get: a latte, bottled kombucha, and 12 Oz of bean coffee was $30.
Very good cafe. I always recommend the Real Man's Quiche. It's a little heavy but wow, it's delicious. Large dining area with ability to accommodate groups. Coconut Cake is out of this world for a treat.
Great place for breakfast. Love the reason for cyn shea's caf'e.
Really cool atmosphere, jazz on Saturday was awesome! Food was fantastic, and the mission of Godly service was inspiring
It's just awesome... Food, people, service, purpose.
Delicious food and a great community support program.
Wonderful food and atmosphere, excellent value for the money. Always clean and friendly staff!
An award-winning establishment that is truly bucket-list worthy. Powered by the vision to transform broken lives in the community, you will not be disappointed by the warm southern hospitality that makes this place unforgettable. Last, but most importantly, the light southern fare and brunch menu is perfectly executed.
I came here while visiting relatives. I ordered the greek salad which was just OK. The standouts to me were the sides, especially the cornbread & the macaroni. The cornbread was sweet, crisp, and had pieces of real corn in it. The macaroni was so cheesy and decadent.
Had the Cuban with a side of mac. Best restaurant Mac n cheese I've had!
Good bakery good food good staff in a year or 2 since I've been there.
Odd set up if never been there. Ordering at counter, self serve drinks and silverware. Interesting selection of food, nice atmosphere inside and out. Teaching for food service jobs. Will be back.
Delicious food. The hot sandwich really hit the spot but it was pricey.
I used to really enjoy Shea's. I used to be a regular. I loved the food. But I haven't been there in a year. I had a couple of incidences of bad service... wrong food delivered to table.... one time no food was brought out and our order was lost. So I stopped coming. Today I decided to give it another try. Came in for lunch and there were a number people there at noon, but restaurant was maybe half full. No line at the order counter. I walked up to place an order... the cashier told us it would be an hour wait for food. We asked her why and she wasn't sure but said that's what she'd been told. I'm afraid I'm forced to give up and won't be back. Very confusing. It's a shame because I love the food. It's all management and service issues.
This used to be one of my favorite places to go for lunch and was a five star. I d give it a three now, other than the fabulous Saturday jazz brunch, which standing alone gets a 4. The prices have gotten crazy, given that sides are no longer included. A sandwich, chips and drink runs about $15 and the quality isn t what it used to be. My favorites are the turkey & apple sandwich, the blueberry pancakes and the French toast. The Cuban has pork with bbq sauce rather than just smoked and it was very salty. My friends ordering any of the salmon dishes have been disappointed.
Fine ambiance, exceptional food, and excellent service.
The sweetest ladies working here. The breakfast plate was okay but the environment and the service would be what would bring me back. This place is good for a traditional American breakfast.
Great Reuben. Out of chicken salad, and it was only 1130am!
Wonderful food with a nice inviting and comfortable atmosphere. They bake the breads in house. You can also see the rotisserie for the chicken from the counter. They offer breakfast and lunch. On Saturdays they also offer a brunch menu. They have domestic as well as local beers, Mimosas, Bloody Marys, and the typical coffee drinks. They cafe also does catering, and has a program to help disadvantaged people learn to cook, become ServSafe certified, and also help place graduates with local hospitality and food service jobs. Wonderful place to eat. Give it a try.
A little short on vegan options, but I could spend all day here
Always wonderful! Greek Salad never disappoints. Mint tea is a nice touch. Try the soup... yummy.
Up scale eatery beautiful great food... Open from 7:30 am to 2pm ... Features Live Jazz on Saturdays during lunch.... Excellent ambiance AMAZING FOOD and SERVICE.... You will love your dining experience.....
Amazing restaurant and the profits go to help people! This is a nonprofit restaurant with excellent food! I love it!!!
It was yummy. I had one of the salads with salmon on top.
Very kind people who were understanding of and helpful with a family member with social anxiety, plus yummy food.
Had a large bowl of homemade mushroom soup and it was outstanding. The other six folks also said their meals were great.
Live jazz music with a tasty brunch. Nice gift shop.
Cyn Shea's is a wonderful brunch venue set up almost like a cafeteria style cafe. I had a excellent crunchy yet soft on the inside croissant breakfast sandwich with crispy bacon and fluffy eggs. I would recommend ordering additional cheese on the sandwich for there was very little cheese on my sandwich. My husband had the steak sandwich which he said was very tasty with a bit of heat from the melody of peppers. We were there right at the switch over from breakfast to lunch which worked out perfect for us as I love eggs but my husband does not. A co-worker recommended the mint julip tea, we will have to go back and try that next time. If you bring your Cyn Shea cup back refills are much cheaper. This cafe has a cozy religious atmosphere, the staff we spoke to were very nice and courteous. There is also a unique gift shop attached with thoughtful gifts and local gifts such as the tufted pillow with Huntsville across the center. I would definitely recommend this cafe.
I just had an unpleasant experience. We waited over 30 minutes for a sandwich while the rest of the food was done in less than 10. When I attempted to check on the status of my sandwich I was treated disrespectfully by a member of the staff. After another 10 minutes of waiting we presented the receipt and were handed a now cold panini off the counter and again spoken to in a disrespectful manner by the same staff member. I will not be returning any time soon.
I love Cyn Shea's, especially their awesome homeade desserts!! The coconut cake is the best I've ever had from a restaurant anywhere! The food is always made with fresh, quality ingredients!! You should definitely make the journey and effort to locate and dine at this locally run, top notch, little "hole in the wall." You'll be surprised to find a classy restaurant with a GREAT gift shop attached! Be warned, though, that after eating there one time, it will become a weekly stop and one of your favorite spots!!!
It was clean and the staff was friendly and tho I didn't eat or order anything there I'm sure their food is great. I just stopped in and asked for greyhound directions lol. They were helpful to point me out in the right direction.
Limited breakfast menu that ends a bit earlier than I would like. The fireplaces are lovely in the winter. They lost one star for being a bit less than welcoming at the counter. The attitude didn't match the feel of the place. The other lost star is for having anti science literature strewn about. If you bring kids (or impressionable adults) makes sure to explain that there is absolutely no truth to the creationism propaganda. Great learning opportunity! Just make sure it's the right lesson.
Wonderful place to go on Saturdays for a delicious brunch and their live Jazz band.
Been to Saturday Jazz Brunch several times, love it! Wonderful cranberry bread turkey sandwich! Great atmosphere;)
Awesome little place to eat. Great atmosphere and equally great service. I try to stop by when I'm in town visiting my boyfriend and have tried the french toast and breakfast tacos... Both were delicious!
Wonderful food and environment provided by a Christian who gives back to the community!
Such a wonderful atmosphere and amazing food! I think I'll keep having meetings there. Plus, they provide training opportunities for people. I'm so impressed!
awesome food and atmosphere. I love the staff here.
Great place to eat always friendly service and good food.
This is a great place to eat. DELICIOUS! We'll be back!
My husband just brought me the most fantastic, wonderful, Ruben from Cyn Shea's. I haven't had a sandwich this good since I moved here from Pittsburgh.
Good, neighborhood place with lots of "regulars". The service was fabulous and the food was tasty.
