Super unhelpful service and condescending business owner. Drove an hour in for advice on a CV shaft which is clearly bust and was told no issues even though it is stated on my Wof and it is obvious to anyone not mechanically minded the CV boot is split. Would not recommend.
Needed an urgent WOF check and some advice on lift kit , and running gear.
Got seen strait away and received fantastic advice from very knowledgeable staff. have been a customer since 1998. and happy to remain one.

These guys are awesome! I needed repairs to a leaky power steering hose.
After getting some pretty high quotes and others who wouldn't even give me a rough estimate, and generally had to wait 2 weeks to be seen,
these guys booked me in the next day and gave me some fair estimates.
When I turned up, they were finishing it off and ended up having some mint yarns with their team while I waited.
Even though the job became a mare for them (I'm sure others would use stronger words), they still honored the estimate.
Will definitely be coming back next time I need a wof or anything else, would strongly recommend! (Nic with the '94 Corolla)
We brought a car to tow our caravan then found that it was very sluggish and very hungry on fuel. Someone suggested that we go to CV Specialist. Brendan checked out the car and said what he would do and how much cost was involved. He did the job and said he had reached all that he could do to improve the running of the vehicle. It was a lot better but Brendan said if we take it to another engine specialist he may be able to improve it which we did.The car now runs smoothly and is very much more fuel efficient.
Don't get costum brakes hoses made here...very slow and expensive, I've been meaning to write this up for a while( well over a yr to be fair) , over the phone estimated $150 a cable, went in and again over counter 150 per cable for braid and said it would take 1 hour for 2 hoses ... 2.45 hours later and bill over 400 + gst ... just had one of the cables replaced else where for $125 and it took 9minutes ( safe r brakes) ..
I had a top quality custom made race axle fabricated by these guys. They were great to deal with, we had to use email and phone calls but still ended up with a great result. They did try to fit me with all the bells and whistles that I felt I didn't need however as a business why wouldn't you? They happily removed them and adjusted the price. Cheers guys. Car runs beautifully.
Absolutely amazing service from Brendan and his team. Constant communication, no hidden costs. Everything was stated in a clear and extremely reasonable invoice. The honesty with the team there is something to be commended. A mechanic found a 50 dollar note under my battery in my bonnet (strange right) but was informed straight away. CVS were very helpful with technical advise and parts availability for my raised Hilux. They also provided great after sales service, adjusting the CV boot clamping position on my axles to prevent the boots rubbing causing premature failure. Thanks guys
