Wish we had gone for afternoon tea looked fantastic

Would just like to say a huge thank you to the staff. We visited today with 3 children and 4 adults. Fantastic service, amazing food and excellent team of family friendly staff. Will definitely be visiting again. The afternoon tea was beautiful. We all thoroughly enjoyed this experience, especially the children who were thrilled with their very own afternoon tea

8 ladies and 1 little lady, afternoon tea was fabulous and the young ladies who waited on us worked incredibly hard and made our afternoon wonderful. Highly recommend.

Amazing place, can't wait to come back. First time I've had afternoon tea and it was all delicious and fresh. They easily catered for the changes we wanted to make and other dietary requirements to with no trouble.

Took an hour for our food to come when there s only 2 of us. And my hot chocolate was cold. Mega mega Fuming!

Oh my, the New Yorker Afternoon Tea was the best afternoon tea I've ever had.

When visiting Liverpool with family, we booked a vegan afternoon tea here after researching online and it certainly did not disappoint! All the sandwiches, cakes etc were delicious and the portion was generous too. The staff were also very friendly. I'd certainly recommend!

The coolest desserts and pastries, a wide variety of drinks to them. The prices are reasonable.

Lovely afternoon tea. We had one gluten free and one kids. All handled professionally, and politely.
The food was lovely and fresh. Staff where polite and attentive.
Just 5 minutes walk up mount pleasant. A hidden gem out of the town centre.
It was super busy, even with the extension on the back every table was full, definetly need to book in advance for a weekend.
We left with full and happy. We will be back again.

Visiting Liverpool for the weekend and had pre-booked Cuthbert's a couple of weeks before. Cuthbert's is a lovely setting with very attentive staff. The afternoon tea was amazing and delicious! I especially enjoyed the smoked salmon and the almond cake. Thank you for a lovely visit.

Nice bakery. I passed by to shoot it's facade for my photographic project "Liverpool shopfronts" I had a look inside and will definitely come back for some coffee and cake.

We visited Cuthbert's for my wife's birthday afternoon tea and was blown away. Staff are super friendly and will talk through what you're getting. They are also really accommodating for all dietary types, offering full vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options. My wife was pregnant at the time and they were happy to make some changes to accommodate. Will be visiting again.

Beautiful afternoon/high tea. Visited with 2 of my girlfriends, we absolutely loved it. Nice relaxed atmosphere, very friendly staff nothing is too much trouble. Gorgeous food. I had a meatball sub and it was so good, but the chips were the best.

Quaint, quiet, beautiful display of cakes. I had leek and potato soup which was so tasty with homemade bread roll. Would definitely go again. I was also by myself and was quite happy there.

Would not give us a table to sit down because I was wearing a tracksuit. Said they had no tables but once we eventually got a table everyone that came in after us got tables despite not booking with no problem.

I ordered Afternoon Tea for my mum and her friend to celebrate her 89th Birthday at home. Thanks to Cuthberts I have earned a lifetimes worth of Brownie points. Mum & her friend are both experienced cake bakers & were overwhelmed by how lovely and fresh the sandwiches were; the quality of the cakes were second to none & there was plenty for a doggy bag too! I can't thank Cuthberts enough for making the afternoon so special for my mum.

Outer appearances don't look much but once you enter the staff are lovely, friendly and so helpful. The atmosphere is so cosy and relaxed. Food is gorgeous too.

they wouldn't give me change for a tenner but their cakes looked nice enough

One of my favourite places in Liverpool - I've been many times but most recently for afternoon tea with my family for my sister's birthday. Absolutely amazing, the best in town!

Best afternoon tea....daughter brought me here for my birthday. I had the vegan option and she had the new yorker both amazing. Could not fault it ...staff lovely and very attentive nothing too much trouble. Will definately be visiting again

Been to a few afternoon teas here with friends - would recommend and would return. Always lovely staff, gorgeous cakes and a good atmosphere.

Best bakery in town. Great range of sandwiches, soup and others to start with and the all important cakes, scones, muffins, cupcakes... And more.
Excellent afternoon tea also.

This is a fantastic teashop which is excellent for a treat. The staff look after you and you are not rushed as they only have a couple of sittings. Food is exquisite. Teas are superb and there is always Prosecco for that celebration.

Everytime I have eaten here, I have enjoyed it. Scones and cakes all look divine but always too full after lunch to indulge. The afternoon tea looks delicious also.

We've just had the vegetarian afternoon tea delivered & it was stunning! Can't wait until you're open so we can come in & eat every slice of the custard & almond cake that you've got Everything was beautiful. Thank you

Further to my recent review, our waitress was called Kate!. She was lovely - efficient, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. A very pleasurable afternoon.

Highly recommended but make sure you book before you attend. Very popular restaurant/cafe afternoon tea is excellent.

Ordered a champagne afternoon tea to celebrate our wedding anniversary in lock down. My husband is coeliac, so we needed gluten free and it was just as good as the classic version. Would highly recommend! It was delicious and they even delivered to the Wirral.

The food is very delicious, such as tea, coffee, hot chocolate, unlimited refills 2.3 per person.

Spent a lovely hour and a half at Cuthberts this afternoon having afternoon tea. Atmosphere relaxed - staff lovely and very helpful - we asked for no parmesan and it was no problem. All in all a lovely experience - thank you. Paul and Violet

Had a beautiful afternoon tea today...although busy, the service was first class and the food was lovely. The waitress apologised for our slight wait but we were quickly seated. The atmosphere was so nice and the selection of sandwiches and cakes was served on delicate China with unlimited tea refills! Money well spent and deserved - Well done Cuthbert's, we will be back!

The setting is very beautiful. I didn't get to try the food there because, after waiting half an hour, they informed us that a reservation was required for tea time.

Delightful place .. Truly scrumptious cakes. Came across this place, whilst trying to find a somewhere to catch up with friends, for coffee and cake on a Sunday afternoon. Will definitely be back.

We booked afternoon tea but when we got there they couldn't find our booking. However they got us a table after 5 mins so wasn't too bad. The new York afternoon tea is amazing, mini hot dogs and burgers! Really fresh scones aswell

The brunch platter was incredible! Really wished we'd gone for a glass of wine with it, but the sandwiches, scones, cakes etc. were all absolutely delicious! The staff were so friendly and welcoming and we can't wait to go back!
