Such a trendy lil spot. I love love love the decor. It s romantic rustic and chic. The happy hour menu is decent. Staff are pleasant. Food is delish!!! I didn t take a pic of the pizza but it was good and thin just how I like it.

Good food. Nice breakfast sandwiches and lunch options. Hip place to get coffee or a bite to eat. On the pricier side, but for most stuff it's worth the money. The sitting is somewhat limited and parking is very hard to find. There's a small parking lot across the street that fills up very fast. More often than not it's full and there's no street parking on that street.

Reasons I'm not giving it 4 stars is because the parking and my experience with the dessert. I recently bought 7 macarons for about $10 from Cunningham's. I was really dissapointed with them. I tried one of each flavor and most of their insides were hard and crunchy. The outside shells were flaky and hollow. This means that most likely the macarons were stale. That, or they were poorly made. Either way, if a store can't ensure their macarons are fresh and well made, they shouldn't be selling them. It means that the staff is not rotating/throwing after over a week and/or they don't sell them fast enough. Very dissapointed with the quality, especially for that price. Most of the food is good, but skip the macarons.

This restaurant was a beautiful and delicious experience.
The atmosphere was gorgeous. The dining room has big windows with a lovely veiw.
There was live music.
And yes. It's expensive. But everything is farm to table. Delicious organic meats. The desserts we're fantastic.
Our waiter was so kind. We met the executive chef while we were walking in and he was so so kind. Especially to my kids

FYI there is no children's menu. Though they were very accommodating and kind.

This was an experience and it was great.

First time visit and it was wonderful. Had a great waitress, Jacqueline, who was spot on. Food was fantastic. It's pretty much valet parking which is not great, but it was fast and the attendant was very nice.

I ve never actually eaten here, just walked in, but it seemed really crowded, very nice atmosphere and the food looked delicious... so I m giving it 5 stars just because I d honestly never heard of this place and it looks great...

Food was ok everything is la carta, which drives your bill thru the roof. Liked the location the and the ambience my only complaint is they have light colored chairs and they were filthy. For the prices you dont expect chairs to be dirty.

I love this place. Emma is a wonderful and friendly barista. The food, coffee, and bread are really good and it's a great spot for a quick lunch or study sesh with a friend. Free parking is always a plus. (French onion soup and Truffle mac and cheese pictured)

Service was outstanding, but we were the only ones in the restaurant for the first hour. Food was good, very pricey and portions are small compared to competing restaurants in the area. They did accommodate my son for his birthday and made steak tartare for an appetizer even though it's not on the menu anymore. Atmosphere was warm and cozy, just odd that you have to leave the restaurant to use the restroom. Free parking was nice too

The food was ok. The one issue with the menu was that for omelets the do not give any ingredients to chose from, just omelets. The noise level was high for such a low ceiling place. The place was ok nothing I would go out of way for.

We dined on Easter for brunch and I hate to say it but I was extremely disappointed. I finally convinced my husband to agree to an Easter brunch and we invited extended family to join us. The $35 price tag for a lunchtime brunch was steep but we assured our party that Cunningham's has amazing food and it would be worth every penny. From the beginning I was a little bummed that we were sat in the back room at a WOBBLY folding table. The back room has ZERO ambiance compared to the main dining room. The wonky table and lackluster dining room were just bummers but not deal breakers. The service, however, did suffer and we felt disconnected and kind of forgotten. Our reservation was for 2:30 and the changeover from morning brunch to the dinner buffet was 4:00. It was obvious that the manager on duty was purposefully trying to run down the food at the buffet as trays were empty or very low. I asked for several items to be replenished, which they were, and the manager did tell me to let him know what else I needed. It made me feel like a big pain to keep asking for things to be brought out. The food should have been well stocked and fresh for the duration. The avocado salmon toast was plentiful on the tray but all completely brown. There was plenty of steamed shrimp, but it was not sitting on ice and was room temperature. I was also surprised that it was not deveined (something I only feel comfortable complaining about because of the price tag). The kid's food was a nice touch but was terrible as the fries and tenders had clearly be sitting for hours. In all, I thought the food was mediocre in quality and quantity of options for the price. The dessert options were lame - cookies, brownies, scones - nothing note-worthy in the least. The final straw was when I visited the ladies room and every stall (except one which was FILTHY and unusable) was out of toilet paper. This is EASTER brunch and you are charging for a top quality experience that I certainly did not have.

This was our second good experience at Cunningham's. All of the food was very good. I ordered the pork chop, my spouse ordered the tuna, and my sister ordered the beef tenderloin, and we all liked what we got. The waitress fumbled a little but was friendly and pleasant.

The food is always amazing and the service is great, everyone is friendly and seem to always remember me (that's a great feeling). Lots of choices and one of the only places you can get an actual PB&J sandwich for a picky toddler foodie.

Egg and cheese on croissant

Egg and cheese on croissant
Love all the baked goods
Sometimes the drip coffee is way too acidic, I choose Americano usually
Lovely staff
Nice restaurant
Calm relaxed atmosphere
Front door is very heavy
Highly recommended
Anecdote: one time they messed up my order, they gave me a gift card to make it right, awesome costumer service

Great spot for dinner. Good service. Steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. Sides (creamed spinach and potatoes) were bland, but had good consistencies and went well with the steak. My cocktails were artfully made, but quite dainty... I get that's a trend, but it still rubs me the wrong way. Overall an enjoyable evening.

To note: seems like there are some renovations happening around them, and their main entrance isn't very marked. Go into the main building entrance (at the top of the steps) and then immediately to the left. Had to wander a bit before I figured that one out (I'm dumb). Also you can go in through the garage (yay, valet!) via elevator and a few twists and turns.

This place is awesome. Even on a busy Valentines night, valet was on point, the roses were delivered to our table and our server was very engaging asking why 3 roses. I replied one each for Love, Life, and Longevity. The menu was a bit limited with lovers day specials, but I found my steak perfectly cooked and juicy. Her fish, tender and moist. Shared desert couldn't have been better. A go to favorite for any reason.

Charming Coffee Spot!! This cozy cafe and lunch spot is tucked away right in the heart of Towson. Of course, the coffee is very good and the food is top notch thanks to the Chefs of the upscale Cunningham's restaurant upstairs. Beautiful artisan breads!

This restaurant is my preferable place. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to that place. Whenever I I need a delicious dinner, this restaurant comes right away to my head. extremely good and diverse food and a large list of dishes.helpful crew, and great ambience. Not less important, the cost is good. I recommend this restaurant with great pleasure.

At first we were excited to walk into a bright and airy space (our first time to Cunninghams). We ate at the bar. The bar tenders were pleasant and attentive...quite enjoyable.

I had 2 rail (happy hour) scotches, French Onion Soup and a Cheese Burger that was served with fries and a pickle.

My husband had 2 (happy hour beers) happy hour oysters and a Cheese Burger served with fries and a pickle.

My onion soup was good (because of the abundance of cheese, onions and bread, (but the broth was of a very odd and unusual sweet flavor.

Our burgers were good, but the bun was a joke. It was a flaky mess that did not hold the burger together.

AND...the finally... our bill was $83+ without the tip.

Way over priced. Bottom line... we will not be returning.

I love the Cafe & Bakery, everything about it: good coffee, good food, good atmosphere, awesome happy hour.

Only one gripe- what is the deal with the awful wi-fi? I mean AWFUL. I would love to come here to get some work done during the day, but it's just not feasible.

Decent coffee, and a pretty good food menu. A little hipster for my taste, but don't my opinion dissuade you. Server was friendly and staff was very helpful - that was a decent surprise. Would come back!

Service was fair. So called experienced sever 1st forgets the bread, the a long delay on wine. I must of heard," I'm sorry" 5 times on other items that she was late on or she forgot. That being said the porkchops were excellent! Nice, open, well lit dining area.

If you really want to experience 5 stars, then go here. A meal that managed to surprise me and well; worth it. In this open and warm atmosphere, the staff were pleasant and professional. To anyone seeking Towson's finest: find your way into Cunningham's.

My wife and I came here based on the great reviews.

Beautiful shop, excellent service for a bottle cap sized cafe but my food was lacking. I wanted a bit more from the wonderful ingredients and high expectations.

All of our food just needed a bit more seasoning. My wife loved her lemon bar.

May try again in incoming months.

The coffee and food are really delicious. This is definitely the most trendy coffee shop in the area, so it costs a little more, but they have wi-fi and places to sit (and charge your device). Be aware! Their espresso drinks are very caffeinated, so you get what you pay for, and might turn into a zombie.

Great food and the service was wonderful as well. We loved the open air atmosphere and outdoor seating. They have their own parking garage making it real easy to get in and out of. Looking forward to another night out there soon.

Great food, challenging seating.

Great food, challenging seating.

Love the food. Cute restaurant

Challenge - please remind customers not to take more seating than they need. Could only sit at uncomfortable bar seating due to other customers taking up a lot of space....
- guy at two tables meant for 4 with only a coffee on his laptop
- mother and child sitting with a single coffee and playing video games spread over two tables
- two people chatting with long finished coffee taking two tables meant for 4
- others who wanted meals had to wait

Alright, I'm going to be "that guy" and give you the pros and cons. But first, our server was Matt C. Wonderful job Matt, you were an excellent server, and I hope to work with you in the future!

Okay, so here's the breakdown:
Pros:
Interesting Decor
Amazing server (ours was at least)
Attentive Manager (I liked your shirt/jacket)
Delicious appetizers (I would recommend the Tuna and Bruschetta)
I liked the silverware

Cons:
Bar food was mediocre (in my taste pallet, remember, this is my review and I am by no means a food critic)
Main entree's were okay, definitely not worth what I paid for them
Wine selection, meh. Very simple, but with the wine storage you had on display in the front, you should offer more by the glass. Not by the bottle.
Happy Hour Drink selection...OK.

So that's the "in a nutshell" of my review. You can stop here if you'd like. If not, continue reading, I'm just trying to tell you my experience. That's what social media is for, right?

Go in, and the hostesses were pretty...stiff upper-lippish to me. I understand you're in a newer establishment, and you've had RAVING reviews, but c'mon. Smile? Thanks :) We go to the bar to take advantage of the happy hour there. Mother got the pomegranate drink (really not good, and half a martini), while I got the dark horse thing (bottom of the menu). If you get that, please ask for On The Rocks. They crush the ice, so you really can't enjoy the drink. I'm a man, I don't want to get the last drops of my rum through a straw like a 10 year old boy. We got an appetizer too...small plate, however (sorry) I forgot the name. I just remember it being a red-meat dish. Chewy. Would I recommend it? Nah.

Dinner, again, Matt C. AWESOME JOB. Really knew his stuff and had quite the sense of humor. Really was on top of everything. Okay, moving on. Bread? A lemon-thyme bread baked in house. Pretty good, a little over-seasoned for my pallet, but this is my review, not yours. Wine selection, again, mediocre. Carrabba's Italian Grill shouldn't have a larger wine list menu than you.

I got grilled chicken, which necessarily wasn't "grilled" like I was thinking it would come out. Very moist and almost boiled-like texture.

Mother got a rockfish (forget the name). Actually, pretty good tasting! So (If I can remember the name) I would recommend that! But that's about it.

To wrap this up, would I recommend this place? Nah, not really, not with the food/prices offered. Would I eat here again? If I had to, but wouldn't say no :). I know I'm going to get yelled at, and maybe even contacted, but I just didn't really enjoy the food that I was enjoying. So maybe the restaurant just wasn't for me. If you go, I hope you enjoy the food! The bar and decor are really nice though!
