Culver Academies is impossible to describe. One must visit this stunning campus, experience some of the mind boggling facilities, meet staff members, and speak with students to get just a taste of to education and opportunities offered here. What other high school is invited to participate in Presidential Inaugural Parades time after time? What other school has such strong support from their alumni? I can't think of any stronger endorsement than graduates willing to endow scholarships so young people can benefit from Culver as they have. I think back on my 4 years at the Academy and am constantly amazed and grateful that my parents sacrificed so much so that I could attend. With all my heart I encourage you to visit.

In short, one of finest, most prestigious international boarding High Schools on this globe. Amazing, pristine, 1860 acres campus, bordering lake Max, with the finest, State of the Art sports, dance, theater, fine arts and riding facilities. My daughter loved her time at Culver Academies, making life-long friends. Culver also opened the doors for the top colleges for her and full scholarships to Ivy League. The education is outstanding. Culver will always be home for her.
Those who gave Culver a terrible review - clearly they didn't belong there, couldn't live up to the schools extremely high scholastic standards and ethic requirements. Culver is for winners, not for losers nor is it for druggies and trouble makers. They won't last long.
Yes, Culver's admission requirements are tough. Students have to earn the privilege to attend or earn one of the many amazing full scholarships. Culver also offers generous financial aid to outstanding, deserving and need based students. Ca. 32% receive financial aid, 30K on average. I'm a single, disabled parent. Without a full scholarship, Culver would've been out of reach. Thank you Culver!

Culver is a bummy place full of snobs and rich kids who think they are different from everyone and cool. They have a bird sanctuary that does not even have birds in it. Culver forces young children to try and be a perfect kid but in reality they are turning them into bums. Would not recommend.

Kewei's experience is complex and difficult to summarize. I hate the experience here because I have experienced many hardships and setbacks, but I am also grateful to what Kewei has taught me. She has made me more confident, mature and tenacious. The academic aspect may not be as good as some of the top private high schools, but Kewei is a very unique and interesting school. Some people graduated indifferently, but some people can learn a lot in these three or four years, and experience a lot. Some people are as mixed as fish, and many more have spent four years fighting the military system. I hope readers can look at this school with a plain and fair mind.

Amazing place, as my Dad attended from 1949-1953, and it has stayed in his heart ever since. A recent visit showed many changes, adding girls, facilities and programs for growing young minds and bodies.

At the time I went to the summer camp program, I was 14 years old and hated almost all aspects of it. I felt like I didnt fit in and the people and staff didnt seem equipped to help with it. I met people from all over the world but also got the feeling they came from money and if you didnt come from money or your didnt already know their family then you were treated as "lower class". When I look back, it is true that it helped prepare me for the real world because unfortunatly that is exactly how our world works.
