Positive: the food is very tasty. But it all goes very well! very slow ... waiting 1.5 hours for the starter and then more than an hour for the main course. When you report it, there is a very laconic response. Actually it is ignored. A shame ... because the food was pretty good!

A good value for money. The food was very good! Normally you eat standard dishes like satay or spare ribs for the same money but with Uncle Jim you get original dishes on your plate. The service was also nice and friendly. We were helped quickly, despite the fact that the restaurant was quite full. All in all definitely recommended!

The food itself was not bad, but perhaps could have been a little better. Our starter + main course were on the simplistic side. It was also would have been nice if the service had come by a little more often for the next course. Nevertheless, the dessert was very tasty and it seemed like a lot of effort had been put into it (the brownie definitely recommended!).

Appetizer (tuna) was good. For main course I had tournedos, which was well prepared. But is not worth 21 euros. Very unfortunate that the fries come from such a supermarket bag. I actually can't. Dessert tasted good but also not very special. Was fine with social deal but I don't come here anymore. The service was very welcoming and friendly.

Never had a uncle who could cook well, was not boring and could make you delicious home made brownies? Rest assured, Uncle Jim provides it all. Your new favorite uncle in town, the one you DO want to visit besides the mandatory Christmas family gatherings. From a delicious and fun steak tartare to a very fancy French poussin, they have it all. Serving took a little long, our 3 meal course took almost 2 hours, but it was worth the wait. Nice atmosphere and decent staff, the only down point is that we were really looking forward to the brownie dessert because they told us they were freshly baked from that day, but they definitely were not. We ordered some tea and got a little piece of brownie with it, THAT piece was definitely fresh. So tasty. However, the taste of our dessert was good enough so it didn t really bother us. Would we recommend it? Yes! Next time we will try out lunch and let you know if it s worth the money. Tip: socialdeals offers coupons for Uncle Jim, a 3 course meal for 17 pp! More reviews from in and around Utrecht, IG meliciousfoodandmore :)!

Laughed at some responses. The steak tartare was raw. Probably a connoisseur and someone thought it strange that they had to make it themselves. News for you. In principle that is part of it. We had a nice meal there in a nice place with very nice staff. Was full and that says enough. Good value for money.

Cozy and nice location for a bite or drink with friends. Music in the background, but not dominating, so you can still talk to each other. Open kitchen. Tastefully decorated and some tables have their own beer tap. Also a lot of space and an extra room. The drink card contains both special beers and tasteful fruit smoothies. I'll definitely come back again.

Delicious eaten. Good dishes and well presented. Tasteful too. Vegetables with the main course may be slightly wider. In addition, the sweet potato fries seemed a little too long or double fried so they were on the verge. In summary, good food of beautiful dishes with a few points for improvement.

Nice pub quiz, but godmieljaar say the quizmaster may be a little less talk you do not have to tell a fun fact or a personal anecdote at every question halleloeja people also want to go home once again. Participating costs money but it would be more logical if the participants were paid for listening to that slogan.

Nice thing. Had reserved but was not necessary. Operation correct but normal, not extra nice or thoughtful. I went for the vegetarian dishes, the Greek falafel burger was very coarse in structure and was rather on the dry side, missed opportunity for what could just have been a top vega dish, because the taste was good. On the other hand, the celeriac soup was the best I have ever had. Other table companions had nothing to complain about, so excellent dishes. Good that there are also alcohol-free cocktails on the menu, as well as excellent alcoholic beverages.
