Poor service, when serving food did not even ask who is having what. Just put both dishes on table with no acknowledgement whatsoever.
Food is so-so, grossly overpriced for food & service quality.

The only reason why it s not 1 star is cos they serve complimentary bread & apologised for taking 10min with bill. Place was barely half full.

Many better options in Dempsey.

Poor slow service. Offensive prices. We ordered the cheese board and the portion is half of what we would typically get at similar establishments. It took them 20 mins to bring the cheese board. Mains took over half an hour. You can see the kitchen and no one seems to have any sense of urgency. Pasta was good in terms of it being fresh. Club sandwich was also good but a it was a small portion. Americano was ok if not a tad burnt. Flat white was basically an Americano with a dollop of milk and foam. Save your money and go-to Jones.

Decided to celebrate my mom's bday lunch here. Pls dont make the mistake like we did. Ambience is nice but then again the ambience in most of the shops in Dempsey is nice so do yourself a favour and pick somewhere else.

We had oysters, octopus, beef tartare and burrata salad to start. Lots of oysters were unavailable, okay fine but why did no one informed us right at the start? We had to order, staff went to check and came back to tell us the bad news. TWICE. Just tell us from the start what's available and what isn't. Mood was completely spoilt by then.

Service was also bad. Many staff but no service, the irony. Tables are cleared, we went to the pastry counter to order a slice of cake for the bday, didn't get served despite waiting for nearly 30mins. When we asked the staff, they finally decided to present it - when the bday person is in the restroom. Wow. Service and awareness is just so so so not present.

Oysters were not good, mussels were the size of your fingernails. Meat was okay. But nearly everything on the menu has a prep fee, including a prep fee on wines and stuff if you get them from the retail space under the same roof. The most bizzare thing ever.

Not worth the money and time. I definitely won't be returning.

A fine establishment located in the not so accessible Dempsey Hill.

Holds a vast selection of different beef cuts each of different grades. Select your beef at the counter and top up an additional $20 to have it grilled and delivered.

The cuts are thick, juicy and perfect for any steak lover. Give it a go.

Nice place for steak. We get to choose the beef at the counter with the price of each piece properly tagged. Preparation fees will be an additional of $15 per steak. There is a rather wide range of beef to choose from at different price points. There is also a wide selection of wine displayed out for you to self-pick from. Waiting time for them to prepare the 2 pieces of steak was quite fast. Approximately 20min.

Today visited Culina for a quick lunch. We had 2 persons and we ordered a BLT sandwich to share. One of the staff called ShaSha offered us to serve the sandwich in two plates, we were surprised that the sandwich, fries, and salad all split into two plates nicely from 1 main plate. We were well served by the staff. Please send my compliment to ShaSha.

I read some people complain about the service. Mine was good, so I guess it is not consistent as it should. Food not cheap but I really love the ambiance. I suppose that's why most customers go there anyway, like other food places here in Dempsey area

Their new premise exudes good vibes, modern setting with more space. Bistro is much better. Great steaks, linguine with Japanese clams, mushroom with kale pesto bruschetta are all very tasty. Best part is being able to select your favorite hams for starter or cheese for afterwards. The concept of being able to select your choice of meat, seafood and oysters to dine at the bistro is nice. The bistro menu is good as well.
Also great to sit at the bar for a drink and have some fresh oysters to destress!

Culina is one of my fav place to go to in SG. The standard of food is just always fresh and so far never dropped. If there is something that cpuld probably a bit improved is some staff a bit arrogant, rude and snobby but also very employees really depends. Overall for sure a good place to go either fancy or casual

The steak was so good but pretty pricy. Sausages was ok and service is excellent.

Spent 400over for 4 people. Order included 1.2kg steak, 5 pcs of sausages, some sides, 2 beers and a bottle of wine.

We had good table service and the staff were attentive to our needs. There are at least 4 types of Australian beef and 1 US beef to choose from. There are good value finds in their secondary cuts like chuck roll and oyster blades. The oysters are fresh and they are served with a special Tetsuya sauce on the side.

Horrible service. Terribly trained staff. There were plenty of staff around but after we got seated, no one bothered to give us a menu or offer a drink. Attempts to get their attention were futile as if we were transparent. After 30mins of waiting like a duck, we decided to leave. Extremely disappointed.

Excited to look for the verity of seasonings, there must be always new discovery. I love their Burrata! It's nice that the price is high but the quality is good, and there are also rare Japanese seasonings that are hard to come by. select shop. The recommended and bought Burrata cheese is repeatable, and if you make a salad with kale and olive oil, it's just salt and pepper

Has been here now for some years and the same concept as Jones in the opposite building - except this is focused on French (european) foods, kitchen wares and wines for sale. It also has tables outside and serves up food from the smallish restaurant - also small dishes for having with wine or just coffee and sweets.

Informal dining style and usually has the expat-housewives there ( if you do not like that then avoid )

When we are in Dempsey hill this makes an option for a reasonably priced bottle of vino, table outside and just a few snack items - we've tried a number of items and share a couple of mains but its only ok. The better thing with here is that its got better wine than Jones

It never really seems to be so busy but we are only ever here lunch or afternoons

Great food but you'll need a big budget. Especially felt that the food prep fee between $15 to $25 was a little on the steep side but good thing, food came nicely done. Nice vibes and friendly service. Bag your meats, veg, cheese & stuff from the deli within. There is even a florist tucked away....so therapeutic!

Good food, too healthy for my liking but the ingredients were fresh. The service was slightly behind as we queried about a dish to check if it was vegeterian and there was a huge quail on top.

Lots of fresh ingredients, wines and vegetables here, find some special maple syrup, love the environment and clean, chic presentation of products, nice place to look around!

Leaving the urban area of Singapore a little, the chain store adjacent to several restaurants sells a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, red wine, cheese and ingredients, as well as various imported goods, spices, etc. It is very suitable to buy goods here or just before or after meal Very satisfied!

Steak was well executed to medium rare as requested
Onion soup and escargots were decent
Must try the Normandy oyster at $8 each. Expensive but so plump and fresh!
Being a Saturday night the place was relatively busy and was hard to get the attention of service crew at times
However they change your plates and utensils regularly
Will try again

Our usual favorite and a fantastic place. Buy all
Your gourmet food and at the same time enjoy a glass of wine with great food at the bistro. The service here is out of the world. Our server was Danny & he was really good. While every thing about this place is amazing but it s people like Danny who make the difference. Look for him when you go out next!

It's a nice and cozy place to hang out with your friends, but be prepared to spend. The meat looks delicious but they have few vegetarian choices. The service was good and reasonably fast. I would go back there.

A big place in cozy Dempsey. The lack of internet reception, at least where we were seated, which was a con at first, somehow made the dinner better, as phones were forced to be put down. Great service and even better food. They are known for their steaks and they did not disappoint!

Not an easy review to write as the experience is s...

Not an easy review to write as the experience is so mixed. Starting with the positives: waiting staff is delightful and knowledgeable; their recommendations and service are spot on. The venue is gorgeous, nice airy space and great decorations. But..... the corkage of 50 dollar is outrageous I find, especially when customers also drink other (glasses) of wine and order plenty of food. And the wine list is quite minimal at this restaurant. Oh, and who came up with the idea to offer customers PAPER napkins???
The steak we selected (what a great feature that is by the way) was not cooked medium rare but I dared not send it back as my daughter, whose birthday it was had set eyes on it and would have probably started cutting me up. Even though I had mentioned in the reservation that it was her birthday they did not seem to have any record of it, but er made do by selecting some delightful cakes from the pastry section in the shop.
Last but not least; the toilet was an absolute shambles. For a place where you spend this much money one expects them to be spotless. See my picture for proof that this was not the case, and this was at 20.00! So unfortunately, despite the best efforts from the waiting staff, three stars and I won t be in a hurry to go back, unless it is for some oysters at the bar maybe.
