Cruise Brothers Review

2nd time using cruise brothers and Scott has been great both times. HOWEVER, Our Boston to Bermuda cruise on the Norwegian Dawn that left Boston on 9/7 was rerouted to another destination because of hurricane Florence. Where was it headed now???.... Maine and Canada. That's right from Bermuda with temps in the 80's to Maine/Canada with temps in the 50's. When did we find this out??... 8:30 that same morning. What is NCL doing about it?? Nothing as of now. No refund, no partial refund, no on board credit, no future credit. How can they think that Bermuda and Maine are comparable trips?!?! AND there was a ship with available rooms leaving New York Sunday morning that was supposed to go to Bermuda but is instead going to the Bahamas. I asked if I could transfer my reservation and board that ship and they said no. They instructed me to contact my travel agency (CRUISE BROTHERS) No luck there either. I will never step foot on another Norwegian ship.

I have been on multiple cruises through the cruise brothers. Customer service and sales are always tops and if some unforeseen circumstance occurs they take care of that also. I would always suggest travel insurance, as you just do not know what will happen in the future and it is better to be safe then sorry. Can't wait for my next cruise spring 2014. I love working for this company. One of the first things I like is that is owned by a family. I did not want to work for a huge corporation or a franchise. They also have a lot of training. The team leaders are great. It does have a feel of working for a family and this is important to me. You can make as much money as you want or as little it depends on you. For me, this is how i make my living and something i love to do!. I don't feel like i am working ever!! I hope to grow my sales, and stay with the company for as long as I can. If you by any reason encounter a team leader that is not helpful call the sales manager directly. He is always available to help you and you can also request to be switched to another team leader and make sure they know the reason why you want to switch. Take the initiative to Read on as much as you can about the travel industry Network, network. Build up your clientele.

I have only been working with Cruise Brothers since July 2013. My team leader John, has provided me with helpful and valuable information, that has helped me to land that sale. The daily emails are very helpful and bring new ideas, that I hadn't even thought of. I am a home based travel agent and Cruise Brothers is my host agency. I have been an agent for almost a year. I chose this agency because it did not cost anything--free, nada, zip--total no brainer. I wanted to give the travel industry a try and I was unsure of my travel sales abilities and other places were charging ALOT of $$--seemed rather foolish to spend money on something I was not sure was going to render and financial returns.
The team manager I work under always has an answer--even if that means having to go to someone else to get me an answer.
There are a lot of educational trainings with various vendors provided and they are offered day and evenings. I have taken full advantage of all the opportunities I can..and aside from the knowledge they provide...often there are nice perks for learning.
I have booked three personal cruises with Cruise Brothers and I think it is really cool to get paid to go on vacation. Also it was really nice to find some perks in my cabin on my last cruise. Because of the large volume of cruise sales, 99% of the time I get the cheapest rate for myself and my clients.
The commission is fair and sometimes there are agency specific, special perks available..just cause you are connected with Cruise Brothers.
I have not generated a lot of sales yet. However, they have not given up on me and have encouraged me not to give up on myself. I suspect that other places would not be so patient while I develop my client base and start generating more sales.

Very friendly and helpful agents. 10/10 would recommend.
