Crucial Care Review

Went in with a blood clot scare. They did everything so fast to check me in and out. Very nice staff.

Have been here several times over the years. They have always taken good care of me and my family from kidney stones, stomach flu, bronchitis, etc. I highly recommend this place. The doctors & Nurses have all been great! Plus they give you an estimate of cost, say $100 - and when you check out that is what you pay. No wondering or surprises later or waiting to see what insurance will pay or not.

Would highly recommend them. Been there several times. Wait times were always short. Staff was always courteous and helpful. They are very well organized and use technology exceptionally well. Much imaging studies done on site.

I love Crucial Care! The staff, nurses, doctors are very professional, very knowledgeable and friendly. I usually get seen very fast and I am always confident they have the resources to make an accurate diagnosis. I live in Orange Park so the Baymeadows office is not close, but I will not go anywhere else. It is worth the drive to be sure I get the right treatment. I just can't say enough about this place. I hope they will open an office in Orange Park, but until then, I will drive the distance. Thank you, Crucial Care for all you provide!

Overall was a pretty okay experience. Everyone I dealt with was super nice and very informative. But I did have one MAJOR issue with the patient care tech that was assigned to me. Sarah was her name, She said she was good at it when I asked her if she was going to hurt me. (I am terrified of needles)But, unfortunately, when she stuck the needle in my arm so she could retrieve blood, not only did I feel every bit of it, but it made me extremely light headed. (I could slightly feel myself passing out for a moment) She also proceeded to just let my blood go everywhere before she could actually draw any. Then just left the blood on my arm, and put clear tape around it for my iv for fluids ( Not sanitary what so ever ) and went on about her day. I don t even recall her apologizing. A simple I m sorry would have been suffice. Another lady who did my ct scan was the one who actually cleaned my arm because she noticed it and said it should have been cleaned. So I recommend the whole place, but DO NOT GET HER!

This is the first time that I have been treated at Crucial Care. My husband went last year and he had excellent care. I too had the best care. Everyone was wonderful. They listened to me and treated me with the most amazing care. If I need care in the upcoming future I will go there. I still can t get over how nice everyone was! Everyone!

Very organized , informative, knowledgeable & friendly staff .

They are incompetent, they don't know what they are doing and I wouldn't bring my worst enemy here. They definitely don't know how to take care of workmans compensation cases.

I joined their monthly program and it s been the best financial decision ever ! Great quality care !

Fast service. Well-organized, informative and friendly treatment. Only suggestion: Make it a practice to introduce name and occupation of each person who sees a patient. Didn t know if I was meeting with a doctor or a P.A.

I had an awesome medical experience from this professional Staff/Team. They were very and concise when explaining what was causing the bronchial condition and their precision has me feeling better in five (5) days.

Great SERVICE and I will refer my Family, Friends and Neighbors to avoid the ER fees when you have such service locally.

They took great care of my sick, elderly uncle. He was taken to a room immediately & necessary tests were performed in a super timely manner. Lots of blankets, Angela was amazing, they all made the best of a bad situation. Thank you!

The staff here were very kind and served us quickly. They offered me a heated blanket because I was cold from illness. They offered a small snack to my 2yo to help keep her busy while they were checking me out. I would definitely recommend treatment here and I would drive out of my way to be seen here.

I had to be seen for flu like symptoms today and although I couldn't make an appointment they got me checked in from the car and had me sit in the car until my turn tobe seen in a patient room. I have a nursing newborn and they did a good job limiting her exposure to the clinic by allowing for us to wait in the car. All my experiences at Crucial Care have been 5 stars!

Brought my husband in for exam and covid test. Floors dirty in room,outside staff gossiping about other professionals took 2 1/2 hours to get x-ray back. No dr. Only pa. Not going back

Great experience altogether! This team has their act together. Professional, courteous, forthright and friendly - it went above and beyond my expectations. They were patient, answered all my questions, and conveyed a keen sense of empathy and balance throughout. I get the sense it is an extremely well-managed clinic with strong leadership. Top to bottom very well run. I will be coming back for sure.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE AND THE DOCTORS DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. THE DOCTOR THAT I SAW AT MY 2 VISITS WAS RUDE AND LACKED KNOWLEDGE OF BASIC MEDICAL CARE. For my second visit, she didn't even take a history prior to treatment. My 2 visits were for a migraine headache. I am not able to take NSAIDs. I didn't ask for any narcotics, and I was fine with getting any combination of a migraine cocktail (usually a med for nausea, Benadryl, and toradol). Anyone who has migraines knows that the pain can be excruciating. My only history to the doctor was I can't take Toradol. I didn't even know what I was given. The next day I looked at my discharge papers and I was given a sheet for opiate misuse and then got a letter stating they could no longer treat me for my chronic pain. I have read through reviews after this visit and have seen that this is not uncommon. They advertise that they are an acute care facility with ER physicians but it's obvious that these physicians are employed here because they are not employable in a a true ER.

The staff is super nice and helpful. However i was there for almost 2 hours before I left to go home. I would come back if I needed urgent care but it would have to be an big emergency. They have you wait in the room for over 40 minutes before ever seeing a doctor. This is just me, but I don t have the patience for this.

Always very clean. I have never seen an exam room that was unclean or needed to be tidied up a bit. Everyone is always very professional and the care is excellent. With a compromised immune system the cleanliness of the facility is the most important thing to me. My family and I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so. We have never met a physician or nurse practitioner that we did not like.

Great staff! They got me in and out so quickly and they were so unbelievably friendly and knowledgeable!

visited this place 4 weeks ago. payed $50 copay. after examining, the doctor prescribed me an antibiotics that i was supposed to take for a week.
finished taking all antibiotics, but no help. visited the same place 2 weeks ago. payed $50 copay. was examined for the second time by another docs, the same diagnose was confirmed. this time i was prescribed a different antibiotics, because, according to the second docs comments, the antibiotics prescribed before were not of a 'proper' type.
after taking the second type of antibiotics for 5 days, i called them up with one question. i was told that docs found out that the diagnose was wrong and i do not need to take any drugs at all, but need to go to a hospital, to see a real doctor.
stay away from this place. waste of money, time and health.

I had a great experience because of the nurse practioner Bridget. She helped comfort us and took her time to help us out.

I called with a question. The patience is not there and they were sadly so rude. The receptionist turned me off before I even had the chance to see anyone there.

My whole family came here, we all made appts. The staff was very efficient and professional. They made sure to comply with CDC guidelines as well as making sure you aware of the procedure/process and will clarify any questions and/or concerns you may have. I know due to unfortunate events we are going through at this time, Cruical Care on Baymeadows is doing a great job on the ease and flow of testing! Keep up the great work team!! -Thank you!

I had to go in today and they were very efficient and careful to not share germs. You wait in your car and they call you and usher you right to a room and I was in and out and happy I went!!!

Had a pretty bad cut between thumb and index finger it required 5 stitches everyone that I had contact with were extremely polite and very professional even cut up a we little bit. Very clean not your ordinary emergency room crucial care place. Recently went back to have stitches removed and again as I stated earlier great people.

Staff great-always friendly & helpful. Love Dr Cosentino!! She took great care of me. Highly recommend Crucial Care!

Went in for the dreaded Covid 19 test. Everyone at the clinic was accommodating, polite, attuned to our needs and answered all our questions. Highly recommend these amazing folks.

The Crucial Care staff was extremely professional, caring and helpful during the entire process of getting tested. The Nurse Practitioner that followed up with me after the test was complete was very compassionate and made sure I understood everything regarding the testing process, along with the results. I recommend Crucial Care to everyone who is looking for a safe, calm testing place, especially if they may be unsure of the entire process. Thanks so much for making it easier for me to get tested. Professional friendly staff. I booked an appointment online and was seen in a timely manner. The paramedic and Dr. Long understood and addressed my medical issue accordingly. I am pleased with the service I received.

After a few prior mediocre visits over the years to another urgent care provider, I drove the extra distance to Crucial Care after some recommendations from co-workers. It was extremely clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and professional, and I felt we got thorough, quality care. Most importantly to me, they were equipped and welcoming to children. The waiting area had plenty of toys and books, there was a TV in the exam room, the receptionist offered us water or juice, and all of the staff seemed comfortable with dealing with pediatric patients (of which I had two small ones) We left with clear information, prescriptions and discharge instructions.
The only reason I did not give an Excellent rating is that we were there for two solid hours, we required only one test, and it didn't appear that there were any other patients. There seemed to be plenty of staff as well; we saw 5 different staff members in our exam room other than the receptionists throughout our visit, so I'm not sure why everything took so long. As another reviewer stated, the waiting time was not getting back to a room but the in-betweens (tech/nurse/doctor & repeats of same) However, this was definitely the most positive urgent care experience we've had and I will likely return here when the need arises .

Do not waste your time with this place. All about the CASH!

I've used this facility several times. Always do an excellent job. Minimal wait with people who know what they are doing. And most importantly, they listen to the patient. Because no one knows your health issues more than you!

I had heard from a friend that this place was great but I hadn't ever been until recently. I was there for less than an hour total time. It took less than 10 minutes to get me in a room where vitals and necessary testing were performed. While I waited on the doctor, I was checked on twice by staff asking if I needed anything. The doctor was very prompt and polite. She noticed right away something going on with my eye, which was not the reason I was there and got me the appropriate medications. The entire process was easy and great! I would recommend this facility to anyone! I got a call the next evening from staff to check in on me to make sure I was feeling better. Excellent care and CARING staff.

Team was very welcoming and friendly. I am a self pay patient and there was no confusion, the fees were transparent and they did not move forward without my consent. If there was an additional fee, they explained and asked first. I didn t feel like anything was pushed on me or my wallet. I was in and out within about an hr. Great Job!

Good experience overall. Waiting 45 min to see the doctor was too long. The staff checked insurance eligibility which took a while.

Really like being able to make an appt online and walk in knowing I won't have to wait very long to be seen.
Your lab had test results quickly and I was on my way in no time with a prescription in hand.
Btw Publix Pharmacy took that medication off their free list earlier this year.

Everyone was very knowledgeable and very kind. I appreciate that all the staff especially their nurses and doctors we're very understanding & compassionate. I was in pain and not only did they do what they could to help but seem to go above and beyond. I Never felt rushed and the doctors and That way you only have one nursing staff seem to really listen which is rare nowadays. I highly recommend!

I have never been treated so badly by a doctor in my life. She was beyond rude and didn't listen to what I had to say about my symptoms, and only spent about two minutes with me. Then when I had a question and asked a nurse if I could talk to her again, the doctor came in and said, "What do you need?" very rudely as if my being there sick and had a question, was wasting her time. I left without getting any medication because they said I had a virus. The next day I got a follow up call from a staff member they said they were very sorry and would have someone call in an antibiotic that day since my symptoms were a lot worse and were clearly an infection. I did not get a second call back until three days after my visit, only to be told they would not be giving me anything for my infection, after they told me they would. The second person to call was incredibly rude so suffice it to say I will not be back.
