I was seen on Saturday, 25 March 2017, because I had fallen and there was extensive swelling in my left hand and wrist. I knew there was a hematoma and wanted to rule out fracture. The waiting room was full, but I was seen in about 30 minutes by Dr. R.J. Brace. X-rays were taken and happily my only problem was the large hematoma. I was given instructions for care and called the following day to ensure that I was still okay. As a former nurse educator, administrator and regulator, I was pleased with the quality of care received.

I have been choosing to come to Critical Care for my medical needs for the past several months. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes to be taken to a room and start the process. Everyone is kind and professional and my needs are taken care of quickly and professionally.

Nursing and reception staff were great. Very friendly and welcoming. The Dr. On the other hand was in a rush rush mode. She didnt even really bother to examine the wound, and made a snap decision. Somewhat frustrated and her mannerisms in the office. She barely even was in the room, it was like she was afraid.

I have been to Crucial Care three times since they opened. The last visit was July of 2013. The first time I went in I had Bronchitis. I was given a prescription for antibiotics, an inhaler and cough syrup. The right course of action besides list of fluids and rest. Many months later I went in with an injury to my foot, three days after the original injury. I was given a walking shoe and a Rx for pain. More than a year later I was sent there by manager for hurting my back at work. Dr. Mulls was the physician that day. They did not do an x-ray, even though I have Osteoporosis. He told me I probably strained a muscle, gave my a Rx for a muscle relaxant and for pain. One week later I received a letter from them stating they could no longer treat me. That urgent care is not meant to take the place of a personal physician, which I see every month due to s health condition, and proceeded to refer me to drug counseling. I would give 1 star if the first two visits had not been good. Please

DO NOT GO TO CRUCIAL CARE! I really should have read the reviews before I went about 1 1/2 years ago with a rash covering my entire torso and flu like symptoms. The girls at the front desk were rude. I was seen by a female Dr. or nurse practioner, I'm not sure of her credentials. First, she refused to even consider giving me Tama flu. She had no interest in seeing the rash and didn't even do an exam. She was condescending and rude to me. I saw her for less than 5 minutes and was left waiting in the exam room for over 45 minutes, even though there was not 1 person in the waiting room. She finally came back with 4 prescriptions, which all had nothing to do with my symptoms and were never filled. I ended up going to the Minute Clinic at CVS and had a fantastic experience. Months later, I received a bill with an original charge for almost $700 which listed a 45+ minute visit, but with my insurance discount it brought it down to $300. And since I paid a $90 copay the day of the visit, my balance was $210. I did not pay the balance since the copay was paid. It's so wrong that they can leave a patient waiting alone in an exam room and then charge for a 45+ minute visit when the couple of minutes that I was actually seen was a pathetic experience. Now 1 1/2 years later, crucial care has put me in collections for a service that wasn't even provided. I'm really hoping this review prevents others from going here. I highly recommend CVS minute Clinic or Carespot as fantastic options, where you will receive excellent care and be treated like a human being with dignity and respect.

Our family has all used Crucial Care over the years for emergencies and sicknesses. The entire staff is first class. They hire only the best and brightest. And are exceedingly thorough when getting histories and with their on site testing. We wouldn t consider going anywhere else when our primary physicians are not available.

I came here for myself several months ago and with my mom twice (for diff issues) in about a week. My mom has a lot of health issues and I have been in more hospitals, clinics, MD offices etc than I care to be. I share that to frame my next comments. I cannot recommend Crucial care enough. Crucial care is a longer drive for me, yet it is the only place I will go. Angela Perrin, ARNP and Dr Consentino are very knowledgeable and caring. Debbie (front desk), Annette, Wes (nurses) also very efficient and caring. Beyond just treating her for the immediate need, they are helping coordinate specialized care only Shand's can provide. I don't think any urgent care would do that. Might you have to wait there to be seen, sure, you might at any clinic or ER, all depends on the timing, and the nature of the medical need. I can promise you this, if you get one of those two, you well be getting great medical care from people who care.

FRAUD!! SCAMMERS!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!! Save yourself time and money and frustration... On May 25th I went to this place. They wouldn't even talk to me until I paid a full coast of a visit. They told me if your insurance pays we will return your money. My insurance did pay them a few days later. I was expecting refund...... Three month later and many calls, promises and silly excuses I finally talk to supervisor(or someone in "ANOTHER DEPARTMENT") They took my credit card number and promised to put my refund right away. 6 days later - NOTHING!!!!! Still waiting for MY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received excellent, prompt care. My regular physician couldn t schedule me until next week.
So I called Crucial Care. When you re not feeling well, the last thing you want to do is struggle through the weekend ...without medicine to deal with your issues!

The physician examined me and did some lab testing. They have a lab on premises. So everything I needed was in house!

Now sitting home on Friday evening I know I can start the road to getting better. (And not hurt through the weekend)

I highly recommend you check this place out. From the receptionist to the nurses to physician.... everyone was friendly yet professional/knowledgeable!

Thanks Crucial Care!!!

The APN who treated me had incredible bedside manner and was very thorough, making sure he treated all of my ailments. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who can t get an appointment with their primary care doctor.

Had an emergency and was in need of help. From the moment I walked in the team was compassionate and responsive. They quickly assessed my condition, explained to me what the plan of action was, what medicine I would be given and the purpose of it. They then followed up with a call the next day to make sure I was still ok. Excellent facility with good, caring people.

The staff was incredibly efficient and outgoing. Never have I entered a medical facility where the girls at the front desk stood up to greet me. The wait was very short and I was advised of costs every step of the way. The medical staff was very proactive and knowledgeable. This facility is heads above all the other walk-in clinics!

I brought my 5-year-old son in because he'd had fevers and abdominal pain for 3 days (it was a Saturday afternoon and our pediatrician's office was closed). The staff were very friendly and respectful. The doctor came in and asked me to describe my son's symptoms. He said, "What he needs is a CAT scan, but, unfortunately, our machine is in pieces. I'd suggest you go to the Wolfson's ER to get it done there. You won't be charged for this visit." I thought it was strange that he said my son needed a CAT scan without performing a physical exam. But, he was a doctor, and I'm just a mom, so I did what he suggested. I took my walking, talking, slightly uncomfortable son to the ER. When we spoke with the pediatric ER doctor, I explained we left the urgent care so that my son could get a CAT scan. The doctor said, "No, you don't want to expose a child to radiation unless it is absolutely necessary. Based on your son's physical exam, I see no reason for it. If his fevers continue for another 48 hrs, he would need lab work." They tested him for strep which was negative. We were then sent home to follow up with the pediatrician. My first concern is that had the CAT scan equipment been working at Crucial Care, they would've unnecessarily exposed my son to radiation. My second concern is that I will now have to pay a huge ER bill for a visit that should have been handled by Crucial Care. An urgent care facility should be able to perform a physical exam and swab for strep. I am so upset!!!

I had put off seeking medical treatment for a couple of months due to not having medical insurance and anticipating a huge self pay bill. I found Crucial Care and was pleasantly surprised to see they offer several comprehensive diagnostic testing onsite and for very affordable prices. I was there for a couple of hours as I had several tests conducted and everyone I encountered were very friendly, professional and caring. I highly recommend them for anyone who is self -pay that wants excellent care at enormously affordable prices.

As always excellent care. I was in intense pain and they took me right back - I thought for sure I had a kidney stone but a CT scan revealed differently. They checked on me several times to make sure I was doing better. Everyone was wonderful but Chris Grace took the time to review my prescriptions with me and made sure I understood exactly what I needed to do. Much appreciated.

If you find you are in need of medical attention immediately this is the place to go. They have the fastest admission and diagnosis process I have ever seen. I was diagnosed with AFIB and within 2 hours was transported and admitted to a room at St Vincent's hospital with the cardiac floor and doctors expecting me. They performed a complete workup on me to provide to the hospital. Every procedure was handled efficiently and professionally from the placement of my IV port (a very comfortable spot on my arm) to the sensitivity of my feelings learning of this news. I highly recommend this facility for outstanding quality medical attention. Thank you to all the staff for getting my symptoms diagnosed accurately and the proper follow-up care.

I called my primary doctor Monday because I was having a hard time breathing. They tell me we can see you on Wed. Of course this was not going to work so I went to Crucial Care. OMG as soon as I walked through the door someone did all the paperwork and five minutes I was in a room with a nurse. To make a long story short I had an EKG, xRays , two breathing treatments and was released after an hour 1/2. I have never had a better experience then I did here.

I visited Crucial Care on Saturday, May 12 around 12:30 PM. I was greeted very cordially at the desk and quickly filled out the required paperwork for a doctor to see me. My total wait time was less than 5 minutes to get into the room and less than 7 minutes total to be seen. The attending was very personable and knowledgable--he quickly reviewed my symptoms and came up with an acceptable prognosis and treatment plan. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes! And the treatment took care of my problem! I highly recommend this Crucial Care location.

I fell and backwards in the woods and landed on my binoculars. I could barely walk because my back hurt so much. I visited Crucial Care the next day and after a short time I was x-rayed and given pain medication that allowed me to walk without pain. Five days later I am as good as new. Everyone there went the extra mile to make sure I was a happy customer. Thank you so much.

I came in with the Flu last week and felt very dehydrated, the least of my symptoms to say the least. They saw me promptly and once in the back they immediately began to treat me with fluids. The medicines they prescribed worked great. This is the 2nd time I have used this facility. The 1st time I came here was after I had been seen at a private doctor's office. Two days after which I felt worse than I ever had. I came to Crucial Care and was diagnosed with having pneumonia. Needless to say, I came back again when needed.

My experience was excellent! Everyone was caring and very attentive from the front desk staff to the RNs, ARNPs, and the Drs. I was seen by the nicest and most caring and empathetic ARNP (nurse practitioner). I went in thinking my issue was one thing after reading symptoms off of Google, but within seconds she already had a good idead what my diagnosis was (which was much different from my own self-diagnosis off the web). After at CT scan to confirm, she prescribed some meds and a couple days later, I'm improving, and I'm almost 100% better! Great staff. Wonderful ER alternative.

This is our "go-to" if our medical needs are Emergency Room even life threatening. I've been here for severe allergic reaction (twice), concussion for myself and my daughter, torn ligaments in my ankle (just a week ago).
The entire staff from reception to Doctors are friendly, responsive, and caring. They are full service, just like an ER, but much faster. Our insurance co-pay is also lower than a hospital ER.
Did I mention caring? They are extremely understanding of your needs, turning the lights off and closing the door to limit sound and light (concussions), ensuring you're comfortable when you're in pain. They are the only facility that monitors my heart rate when I go into anaphylactic shock.
We've choose Crucial Care over Baptist ER at Town Center because of their staff!

The entire staff was very warm and compassionate. They were very kind to my 2year old son who had to come along. They even gave him a little teddy bear. It was easy to get an appointment. I preregistered online and there were plenty of times available. When I arrived check in was very easy. Overall everything was very quick. I only had to wait for test results, but they were very reasonable wait times. I hope I don t need to come here again, but if I do, I know I ll be in good hands. Thank you to everyone who helped me today.

Thanksgiving mishap which included a finger and a Mandolin slicer needed to be looked at. The wait was minimal for an urgent care facility (about an hour total) and the staff was efficient, professional, and extraordinarily friendly. They cracked jokes and answered all of my questions. They even called the next day to follow up. I would recommend if you're in the area and need urgent care.

My husband has conditions that sometimes requires immediate attention although he may have only minor symptoms & some ERs tend to use temperature & blood pressure as a gauge for priority treatment. Once my husband almost died because they decided he could wait 6 hours. We left & luckily the next ER believed us when we said he had to be seen now! That was the last time we used the ER. In September I fell down the stairs while getting ready to take my husband in. When we arrived at Crucial Care they took both of us directly back, me in one room & hubby in another. Crucial Care has everything needed to determine what next. I had not broken anything but was told no one falls this hard without beating their insides & prepare for a couple of months of bruising & soreness. After tests, the doctor immediately contacted my husband s specialist & they both decided to admit him to the hospital. Staff arranged everything for his admission. I cannot write how thankful we are for Crucial Care although I hopefully did!

Before going in today, I jumped on Google to check out Crucial Care's reviews. I was discomforted with all the more recent reviews being 1-star, but decided to go anyways on a family recommendation. I'm glad I did. With my insurance, it was about double a primary care visit, but at least I didn't have to go to the hospital (I have the flu + bronchitis, and my primary didn't have availability for 4 more days), and that also covered the chest x-rays I needed. They had a doctor and a nurse practitioner on duty, I was treated by Dr. Mullis. I was happily surprised to find him cheerful with great bedside manner, contrary to a one-star review I had read on here. He was helpful, very polite, and humorous. When I left the lobby was pretty full, but when I'd gotten there I was taken immediately to a room, there was no wait at all.

I will definitely be recommending them to other people.

I took my daughter here after I got a call from her school that she slipped in the cafeteria and fell. She had busted her lip REALLY badly (her top teeth went into her bottom lip) and I had to take her somewhere. Well, I didn't want to take her to the emergency room, especially with time wait and not knowing if she was going to need stitches or not. I also didn't want to drive all the way to her doctor's, which was about 15 minutes away, to even chance them not being able to really do anything.
My husband told me to take her to Crucial Care that was really close to her school. I did. We walked right in, explained, they took my insurance card, and took us back to a room. The staff is VERY friendly. I felt safe and loved that they were able to help asap. My daughter was happy, too!
The wait time in the room was quite long (or felt like it), but I do feel like it was worth it. They had a TV in the room to keep my little one occupied from her injury. All it cost was my normal, $30 co-pay for my insurance. AWESOME!

The team at Crucial Care took great care of my wife on a visit a week ago for a severe ear infection she'd developed. The speed, professionalism, and medical execution were second to none that I'd seen in a medical emergency situation. They constantly checked on us and made sure my wife was as comfortable as possible with the severe pain from the earache. The best part is they got my wife back to good health! I've told several people at my office what a positive experience it was. They exceeded our expectations.
