Excellent resort. Right next to the beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Stayed in Waggy Tails cottages. Very clean and well furnished accomodation.
Everything you need for a holiday with the dog.
Will definitely be going back again.

The location is great.

The location is great.
Staff made us feel welcome especially at meal time.
The children enjoyed the choice of food, entertainment on stage and in the fun room.
The grounds were well kept.
The kids can go anywhere with options to play games inside and out.
The beach and village centre is just a short stroll.
There's some options that could be made available i.e. herbal tea, more vegetarian options.
Information made a little clearer about what's included in half for example.
More readable info on TV screen.
More info regarding the the family accommodation.
We would return again.

We had an excellent holiday and stayed in one of the new lodges at the resort. Everything for a great family holiday is on site with a wonderful beach within walking distance. What more can you ask for

Somewhat lacklustre accommodation, but food not too bad. Many small things wrong with our room, but nothing major. Well situated for beach access and local amenities. Feels a bit like stepping into the past, but staff pleasant. No real complaints.

Simple but fantastic family accomodation. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage that was spacious and comfortable. Appreciated the efficient heaters after a chilly day in the artic autumn! The family entertainment team looked an unlikely crew but they were really good and although not that busy they provided great entertainment for the families there.

One of my favourite places to come. Have done it year after year for the last 25 years and loved it everytime. The new lodges have brought it right up to date even though I had massive love for the chalets.

Absolutely fantastically developed resort, plenty of activities for small children, older children like myself and adults. Staff very hard working, social and friendly going beyond the call of duty to help you enjoy your stay. From experience, I judge the hotel to be more accommodating than the chalets, especially for more than one person per room. Swimming pool fantastic, with great Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Table tennis and snooker in shed kept in decent condition, site very clean and looked after with plenty of activities. Overall a fantastic trip and would advise a visit.

Rooms are small and many lack essentials like bins and fridges which the staff did not change after we asked multiple times. Facilities are old and have not been maintained to a good enough standard. Food is good but expensive and the WiFi is very volitile, not working for the majority of my visit. Entertainment was very disappointing and the onsite shop was extremely lacking.
Although these set backs the location is great as it is only a small walk from the beach. And it is centered between many other restaurants and bars. There is plenty of parking and the beds are comfortable. The pool is well kept and there are a lot of areas for kids like parks and mini golf. Overall for the price there are better places to go but if your a surfer or just want to relax this place may be worth the trip.

Great place for getting away from it all. Fab posistion too. I would have given 5 stars but the pool attendant was more interested in facebook than doing her job properly. She was as miserable as sin too.

Only stayed for 1 night here so didnt have time to explore area much. But for the time i was here, walk to beach was only about 10mins, bit longer back due to bit of a hill. Good play area and activities for little ones. I found the breakfast well cooked and went down well, bit pricey for what i got i thought but still good. Will visit again and explore more.

Waggy Tails is absolutely wonderful it is so well adapted for bringing the pooch with you and very close to the beach and other lovely walks. The staff are so friendly and attend to all of your requirements, the food is so tasty and plentiful and the entertainment is enjoyable. Swimming pool on site which we will enjoy later.

Fabulous

Can't go wrong here and the staff are very helpfull. Quiet, peaceful and surfy out of season. Evening entertainment and activities in season. (Indoor pool with jacquizzi, sauna and steam room, tennis, snooker, darts, mini golf, dune walks to the beach, outdoor childrens play area all year round)

Sceptical at first when noticed the unison banner but don't be put off. Comfortable rooms, swimming pool that the kids loved and good dining facilities. For money paid expected buffet breakfast to be included so only reason not a five as a venue, close proximity to the with footpath recovers the five star!

We stayed in a self catering bungalow. Was clean on arrival and beds were comfy. Nice grass area out in front and were able to have a barbeque on there one evening. Beach is walkable in about 10 minutes from the furthest away accomadion (waggy tails and access). The pool and sauna was good and quiet, although they have public lessons which cuts off half the pool so worth avoiding then.

Nice site, clean and tidy, good food and portions, landscaping across the site, sports and pool available. Small play area for the children, small selection of goods to buy for the self catering chalets. Direct access to the beach. Parking available. If travelling by train, good access to Barnstaple but then difficult to travel from station to the camp.

Pretty laid back, kind of old school which I like. Access to the beach is over the sand dunes which is fine if you are able bodied and even remotely fit. Clean rooms and facilities. Bit of confusion over checkout time which they acknowledged isn't clear.

Great location/facilities but the food is under par & the drinks are ridiculously expensive your much better off going down into the local pubs which are only a short walk away than staying on site.
