There was construction but hot tub gud, pool gud, dated looking pain jobs bad

This in NOT a 4 star hotel. Maybe 3 tops!
The rooms are small. Our room smelled like urine. We left after only one night ending our stay there. There were people partying. Several people we passed in the halls reeked of marijuana. We had to wait at least 10 minutes to check in and they didn't seem to care. We will never stay at this hotel again.

Worst hotel we have stayed at. We stayed up till 4 am dealing with loud neighbors and the hotel staff did nothing about it until we complained 5 times. The staff continued to blame it on us, though we had two small children in our room. Pictures and the hotel are deceitful. You have to pay for parking, though they don't tell you ahead of time. They website said we would have a balcony. Our balcony, that you cannot even open looks over the roof. Overall awful!

Fantastic stay. Beds were very comfortable, sheets and linen very clean and new. Nice kitchenette area. Professional staff. Loved the layout of the room. Would def stay again.

Room was nice. However the overall theme was kinda of dark and gloomy especially the halls. The elevators were very slow which was a pretty big deal. Spent on average 6 mins waiting for an elevator.

I stay here whenever in Orlando. Great rates for quality accommodations and excellent staff (front desk and housekeeping in particular). Bar and restaurant on location. Excellent location is right off I-4. Exceptionally close to AmWay Center and shuttle service to most attractions.

The hotel and the staff was lovely. The only 2 complaints are the area is difficult to maneuver and the nightly parking rates were ridiculous.

The lobby was unique, with the giant water feature. Very warm and welcoming. The meeting space on 14 had a great view of the city and worked great for our group. But the food stole the show. Oh my goodness ... Banquet food that was amazing. Very nicely done!

Crowne plaza is a very good place for family and everyone to stay to enjoy Florida events

I give 4 for the price that I found a bit abusive .. but it is very nice, if you have conditions, stay there, you will not regret it

Decent hotel, there is a lot of construction right now but didn't hear it from the room. Just hard to get around walking since they don't have a sidewalk.

People where nice. Foods was expensive as breakfast was not included. Food was ok at best. Breaks buffet was about $15 and it is no different than other hotels with breakfast included.

Newly renovated, nicer than I expected. $17/night parking is pretty exorbitant though.

The construction on the interstate is a drag and a hassle but the hotel gets this; they upgraded my room without it being requested when they learned of my trouble in rush hour traffic. Everything is clean with a good breakfast and great customer service.

All the great things worth mentioning include the AMAZING breakfast, amazing breakfast service, comfy beds, nice cold air conditioning, clean bathrooms, nice pool and friendly hotel staff. Things I did not enjoy is how far things are from this location. Perhaps with a vehicle I wouldn t mind, but on food everything is far and even the closest convenient store is almost a mile away. The area also is a bit ghetto. The restaurant downstairs had the least attentive service, but still everyone was polite. I would recommend this hotel if you are just staying a few days and have your own vehicle. Besides that I think there are other options that may be worth to.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean, and everyone was polite and attentive.

The Crowne Plaza was awesome--my uber driver got lot this morning when I was trying to get the airport and the valet staff was able to direct them for me. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed here for 3 nights. It s clean affordable and safe walking distance to downtown. Front desk Eric talked to me like we were old friends and Jason was a big help! Would stay here again. Great workers!

Never ever use their iron! It will ruin your clothes! The hotel can do nothing but brought another iron that did the same thing to my shirt!

Just checked in the liquor is watered down. Crown on the rocks taste like ice water.

This place was very clean and the service was on point. I really enjoyed my stay.

The experience of staying here was bad from the beginning. The first call to the reservation center connected me to an agent who could barely speak English, after having to repeat myself several times because she could not understand, I hung up and called back hoping to get someone who could speak at least somewhat clear English. The second agent could speak English but it was very broken at best. She booked my room and after spelling my 4 letter last name twice, she still got it wrong, No big deal... Later we decide to add one night to the reservation so I call and was told that the original reservation was set up for no refunds or no changes to the reservation, this was not agreed to during the reservation so we had to book a separate reservation for the additional night and was told that they could merge the two reservations at check in..no problem, we can do that. After weaving in and out of construction in the area, (which I know isn't the hotel's fault), we finally arrive and the valet was very courteous and helpful. At check in we were told that due to the original reservation being book with no changes allowed, they were not able to merge the two together, but assured us that we would not have to change rooms for the additional night. Ok, so far some inconvenience but no big deal. Then we walked into the room, a very dated room to say the least, the tub in the bathroom was filthy as in black gunk was all over the bottom of the tub with more closer to the drain so this was caused by the drain backing up and flushing the gunk from the drain back up into the tub. We called housekeeping and they arrived quickly and cleaned the tub and offered another room, but we had already unpacked our belongings so we decided to stay where we were. The next day, the gunk was back, but this time it wasn't stuck to the tub and easily rinsed down the drain, I wasn't happy with it but it was what it was and I was just ready for the stay to be over with and chock it up as a lesson learned. We had to call for additional towels since there is only enough towels for two people for one day, and for toilet paper since there was only one roll in the room. The property looks very old and dated, not the normal Crown Plaza experience that you see at their other properties. We normally stay at Hilton group properties and after this experience we will be continuing to stay at Hilton for all future travel. We had a choice of where to stay and chose Crown Plaza for their "Normally" very nice properties, but this did not meet expectations by a long shot. Besides the issues with the hotel itself, road construction in the immediate area makes arriving at the hotel very difficult. I will say that the staff was very courteous, prompt and professional, they are the only reason this review received two stars, the property is a one star at best.

Love staying here. Only downside is having to pay for parking.

As far as the restaurant, the staff was slow and unattentive and the food was terrible.
I had the Panini That was supposed to have ham, beef, and pulled pork. ($13.00)
The ham was a very thin slice of processed ham, about one ounce of beef and I could barely find the pulled pork.
As my side, I asked for broccoli and then I had to ask for butter, twice.
By the time I got my butter, the broccoli was cold.
Had I known how this was going to end up, I would have stayed in my room and ordered a Jimmy Johns.

This hotel is cute and clean. I can't remember how much we paid for valet but I remember thinking it was expensive. The reason I I'm giving it a 4
Star is because the sink in our room was clogged and not draining at all. We didn't say anything until we checked out because we only stayed one night. I would stay there again.

Everything is pretty great except the parking fee adds 17 to 20 extra dollars per night. Kind of a sneaky extra charge

The feeling you get when you walk through the gliding doors on a super hot and muggy day and feel the air conditioning flying through their fresh waterfall of their fountain and into and onto your face and body is just indescribably fresh. Their available coffee, pool, barista/bar, food, fresh everything makes me want to revisit with all that is me! I most definitely would stay here for another week anytime; without a hesitation!

They charged for parking which was suppose to be free the room was nothing like the pictures and the coffee maker didn't even work

The room was very nice and big and quiet, the pool was excellent and front desk was very helpful. Will visit again.

Very nice place to stay, I was here for business, the breakfast every morning was a little inconsistent, the eggs one morning would be perfect, the next really salty, or liquidity. Same with the rest of the food. But none-the-less it was still good. Pool was nice to relax by, quiet. Room was very nice, bed conformable, clean and welcoming. Will be returning for sure.

I had specifically asked for a quiet room on a high floor as I'm terribly light sleeper. Upon arrival I'm told I'm on the third floor. I said I had asked for a quiet room on a higher floor. The man in the reception tells me it's more quiet on the lower floor which is absolutely not true. The traffic noise kept me awake half the night. The air conditioning unit is a wall unit right next to the bed. You cannot direct the louvers so it blows right on yout face. On a good note the room is nice and big and clean. The cover is just sheets with the thin blanket in between. Overall not impressed considering it's a four star hotel.

Tried to check in after being "authorized" to do so according to the reservation form on their website. Not allowed to check in until after the other two members in our party get here with the company credit card. So much for being a rewards member. Can't wait to check in. Man a nap would have been nice after driving 20 hours to get here. Thanks so much Crowne plaza, you can take your points and shove them. So far the only accommodating people are the Valets, and I chose to self park. Will update the rest of our stay. You are going to earn these stars now!

People flying in from all over the world to visit this place and let me tell you one thing. I've heard from every single one of them. They have never regretted it.

Such bad experience with those guy who talked with me unfriendly and treat me like a foreigner . The guy who picked up my phone call really talked in weird way without any respecting. I strongly felt uncomfortable with them.

Had early reservations for dinner and they were already down to one piece of the sushi special. Was delicious. I have learned the lesson again of not ordering Chef's Selection of sushi with a variety. I always think I like all sushi and then get smoked items or items hard to eat like eel or clams. Everything we ordered specifically...

This place is really nice, conveniently located in downtown Orlando, off of I4. However... they charge for parking $13 per day, and there's no complimentary breakfast...

My parents stay here frequently as they visit Orlando often. They could stay anywhere but always choose here.

Excellent services, good value. Loved the king suite room.

The swimming pool is good and too bad that when I was there the little shopping mall that is inside the hotel was closed
But other than that it's a good place to stay

I Love the Crown it is clean, comfy, if you need something they have no problem getting it to you. Great stay!!!

Nice hotel, huge room. I liked the coffee, bar top area with the Keurig. Room was clean. I was missing an ironing board. I had an iron, but no ironing board. Only stayed one night for a business meeting nearby so I didn't make an issue of it.
Parking. So it's valet only, $24 a day. Kinda steep. Especially considering the valet parking is the lot next to the hotel, not covered in a garage.
3.7 stars overall. Not bad for the price, rounding up to 4

Every room has a very loud AC unit right next to the bed that goes on and off every few minutes. When it's on, it blows freezing air right on you and when it's off, the room gets really hot. So all night long you're taking blankets on and off and getting woken up by the noise.

Very noisy place. If you get a room with adjoining rooms it will sound if the people next door are right in your room. I was able to room without adjoining room and it was ver quite and comfortable. Very clean, good service.

Food was good, typical hotel buffet situation. They gave my baby a lot of blueberries which was cool. She also liked the fountain they had.

Love, love , loved it... The only place I stay when I'm in Orlando. And it's literally up the street from the down town entertainment district

Fairly decent, the room was a bit small, but in touch with modern day aesthetic. The balcony raises a few insightful questions and serves as a metaphor to our hollow existence, barred off from that we find most whimsical. They tempt those of us that would seek to indulge in the finer intricacies of discovering our fate in the stars of the known cosmos. Luckily, there's an intriguing water machine in the lobby, allowing for those of us of a higher plane of existence to reflect on our past deeds and future journeys. I recommend they introduce a goat into the lobby so as to curry favor with the more artistically inclined community. For those excluded from this community, I will provide an illustration.

I was on a business trip for Best Buy and I definitely felt at home. Everyone who works there was professional and very friendly. I got locked out of my room and I was on a time crunch and Shamill was able to make me another room card once she saw my ID with no problems. The rooms were clean and beautiful. I went down to the hotel bar and Stephanie was my bartender and she took great care of me. The breakfast was sensational. Everything about this place was great. I'd recommend to anyone staying in the Orlando area.

Unlimited free shuttle from and to any nearby location. (5 miles max I believe)

The building is a little dated but the hotel is still a good option for being close to Downtown. The rooms are spacious and the staff very friendly and helpful. There is a small but decent bar with good steaks and burgers and some tasty beers. There is also a courtesy shuttle bus which comes in handy. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We went for our anniversary and it was nice. We also ate at the on-site restaurant and the food was really good! Very well seasoned, very proficient staff and a nice ambiance. The head Chef was awesome and has trained his staff very well! Also the supervisor on duty was very accommodating and kind. The servers were very pleasant and knowledgeable. Overall it was a great experience. One update to the hotel would be good however, an exhaust fan in the bathroom!

Pretty poor customer service. Complete lack of communication among personal. Would not recommend, there are far better options within walking distance that would go above and beyond to serve.

Service was good. Event catering was middling. Parking was awful.

First of two night. What little interaction I had with the staff was pleasant. Room and bath is very good. Noise from the highway and ac gets tuned out after a while.

You do have to keep the ac on the coldest setting to keep the room cool during be summer (central florida).

View from the 13th floor is good but not eye pleasing as it is in a shoddy location of town but this is acceptable for me as it is within a few miles to one of my offices.

Parking fee is horrendous, $15 a day for self parking and $18 a day for valet. It is semi secured as the main entrance is only blocked by security poles and flimsy security access arms. Rest is fenced in.

Quality of furniture is pretty good, i have a king bed, L sofa, outdated flat screen Tv but acceptable. Free internet access wired and wifi. Coffee maker and microwave.

Nearby food is very good especially if your an asian food connoisseur like me. I would recommend Vietnam Cuisine which is just about 2 miles or so away.

Depending on how stay is tomorrow night I may stay here again. We will see.

Just returned from a brief stay in Orlando (attended the Pitbull/Enrique concert-WOW that was amazing) Biggest shout out ever to Russel at the front desk and Carlos on security!! When we arrived at our hotel in the wee hours on Tuesday morning we found it unfit for humans, no really it was- creepy crawlys and all. My daughter and I left and made our way to the Crowne Plaza where Russell was determined to find us a room, everything in the downtown was full. He pulled through and put us up in a wonderful, clean room, your determination was very much appreciated. Thank you as well to Carlos for ensuring that our safety was of number one concern and that we had a place for the night. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such good care of us and say to the management staff at Crowne Plaza- it is a blessing to have such amazing employees, it is people who care such as this that will keep customers returning!!
