Crowne Plaza Orlando Downtown Review

Kindly please let me know about job apply at this hotel from foreign country. Is there any possibility to appy from foreign country?

Customer service was good and the room was nice for a work event.

I was at the resort after prom with a few friends. It was a real nice room, really nice atmosphere, and we had a great time other than security knocking on the door a few times with noise complaints. But all in all, it was a good time.

While this was just a one night rather quick stay, I was very pleased with it! The hotel was beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. I was concerned about the level of noise given the class proximity to I-4 but I couldn't hear it at all. The room was comfortable and clean although the main room light was not working and it was missing a few things like tissues, etc which is THE ONLY reason I didn't do 5 stars. We didn't use the pool but it looked like a beautiful relaxing area. I was impressed with the studio room for smaller more intimate meetings and the look over all. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Terrible customer services at first this morning. Desk clerk last night said shuttle between 730 and 745 but then this morning same lady said I didnt tell you that. She truly was a turn off as c ustomer service no apology just argumentative. However - became better after pressure was better.

Nice rooms but the construction next to it is very loud.

Close to Downtown and I-4.
A lot traffic in the area.
Hard to parking around.
Valet and payd parking available in the Hotel.
The surround area isn't nice or fun for a walk.
I went for Seminars and Workshops.
I suggest to bring Coat for the seminars rooms. They have freezing temperatures.
Offers free Alcalinizant Water.
Includes small pool and Jacuzzi.
The restrooms are clean and neat.
They have Restaurant and Bar section.

Too long to check in. Room was not as good as I thought it should be

Everything well with this hotel, except that it doesn't feel like a crowne plaza and more like a re-branded holiday inn. No lounge in a crowne plaza, now that's my first. Staff is helpful and friendly.

It was very clean great shuttle service very nice valet parking

Wifi would cut in and out. Walls were very thin, could hear alot from the next room over, also from the highway outside. Was also woken up quite a few times from the cleaning staff being extremely loud in the hallway, laughing and carrying on.

The bed was comfy, sheets were soft. Kind of wish there was a thicker down type comforter on the bed to make it a little warmer. The bed is placed right next to the air conditioning. If you have the air on it gets quite chilly in the bed, if the air set a couple degrees warmer then I got really warm and humid.

Did not eat breakfast at the hotel, food didn't look that great for $15 each morning. Just went down the street to 7/11 or IHOP.



Overall for the price of the hotel, with the extra charge for breakfast, and parking / vallet. As well as the points mentioned above, I would just find another hotel if I come back to the area.

Attended a professional event in the Grand Ballroom. Comfortable setting with refreshments. Pleasant atmosphere.

Be careful when going there. You can get lost while using maps. Entry is located of the service road west.

This places is phenomenal! From the valet (Angel), checking in (Roberto) to dinner (Theresa).... it s been a wonderful experience. Rooms are clean and food is great. Such a refreshing experience.

Excellent hotel only complaint as with most hotels the beds are too soft.

We stayed in a suite and it was amazing. Room was clean and super nice, will definitely stay here next time we re in Orlando. Staff was nice, and Geraldo at the front desk was great!

Expensive for what it is. Outdated old rooms, ok d hotel. Orlando downtown is overpriced for no reason.

Interactions with the hotel staff was great, you can tell they remodeled not to long ago. A few things give it away like the elevators but overall nice look. Comfortable rooms and great room amenities.

The bad for me was when I came back one night late after being gone all day working my room door was left open likely after they cleaned it. I chalked it up to a mistake everything was in my room and i was really tired. My wife came to visit me on my business trip and when she arrived at the hotel she found my room door open! I travel often and this has never happened. Would've been a 4 start review otherwise. If i wasn't on such a time consuming business trip I would've had a lot to say to management

Very friendly staff. Efficient check out. Convenient location. Not enough elevators to handle patrons when busy.

This is a very beautiful hotel and convenient since it is right next to I-4 and Downtown Orlando. Prices are reasonable for such beautiful rooms. I had a wonderful stay and I would definitely come back here in the future.

Had a extremely bad experience at this hotel not made aware or paid parking at check in and they do not tell you that if you are calling out of state the they will charge you long distance at a cost or 30$ at call so make sure your cell phone doesn't quit working on you I would much rather stay at a holiday in express you can use their room phones at any time and not get charged and they take 50$ of your debit card up front in stead of after for incidentalls I just thing they should do over more detail information about their policies will never stay there again

What they don't tell you!!

Spent two nights this past weekend at this hotel and it was not as expected. The hotel shares an extremely small parking lot with an adjacent apartment building AND you are required to either pay $18 per day to self park or $21 for valet parking in the same lot which is 10 feet from the door. They put a $50/day hold on your credit card at check in. The parking and any other charges you incur during your stay are subtracted from said held funds.

Room was small, mattress had a huge sink hole in it. Bathroom was dirty....found hair, dirt in sink and to top it off....the in shower soap rack still had soap caked up on it!!!! This means that whoever washed up with soap and put it on that rack after cleaning their dirty body.....the filth was still there. Needless to say I could not use the soap rack!!

No iron was in our room. Called the front desk and was told "we will have someone send one right up." Iron came 45 minutes later and we were waiting to go to dinner.

For over $100 per night ( only by way of company discount....is hate to know who paid more) it was not worth it and I'd never stay here again.

DOLLAR..."RATE 0" TOTALLY EMBARRASSED...had a car reserved for 3 day vacay in S. BEACH... no warning that they DO NOT take debit cards, had to scramble, waste time trying to locate other options...totally unnecessary

The Crowne plaza is consistent, reliable, and usually a great value. Good location. Rooms are nice.

Valet parking very clean.went for a training class

There for a conference and the 2 bathroom near the conference room were put out of order when the meeting started. The hotel was more interested in getting everyone lunch order than providing confort.

Stayed here for an extended stay a few years back and enjoyed it very much. The bed was comfortable and tv, refrigerator and other amenities were great. The view of downtown was beautiful. I wasn't aware of the pool location, but will check this out on my next visit. The business center had multiple computers available with printers. Highly recommend.

Fabulous place for the $. Rooms are beautifully recently decorated. Nice hot breakfast. Fun bar. Fast valet. No concierge which I thought was weird. Located close to the Dr. Philips music venue. Construction in Orlando is a nightmare. Set your GPS to avoid highways to enjoy construction-free light traffic around old Orlando.

Bed was uncomfortable and I got bit by some type of bugs all through the night

Very nice hotel with big rooms, good for staying for business. If you are looking for a family place while visiting parks this isn't a good option as it's pretty far from the parks and it's hard to drive during rush hour. The room service food it's pretty good and the restaurant/bar that they have it's also good too. Good option to be close to downtown.

Great looking hotel, little deceptive as far as the balcony goes, nobody knew who was getting what breakfast

Really nice place. For the price, you're better off at some of the other hotels in the area, as you're paying more for the name here than anything. But that name still holds up, as you get great service and a quality room.

$15 per day for you to use their parking lot even if you park your own car! They nickel and dime you. The room was nice but noisy because of the freeway.

It feels like home! What an amazing team ... They pay attention to details.

Very nice place except the room rugs were very stained & sofa bed had lots of stains too. Hand sanitizers thru out hotel. Customer service was good.

The room thermostats do not go lower than 65. I keep my house at 61. I got nearly no sleep at all. For what I m paying I expect to be able to set the temperature at whatever makes me comfortable, I will not come back. Room was clean, bed was uncomfortable. Subpar linens. Room service was OK at best.

Thrifty rental car thet add extra charges for no dam reason two times i had to call and get charges removed. Im done with them too.

I stay here A LOT due to travel for work. The rooms are usually very clean and I always feel safe even when traveling by myself. The food in their onsite restaurant is great and Suzy, who is usually working at the bar, is super nice.

The staff is usually very nice but the last few times I have stayed, I've had some experiences with billing mistakes and erraneous charges. These mistakes were able to be resolved fairly quickly.

Angelo Quinones went above and beyond for us and our stay. Couldn't have asked for any better service! Will definitely have my recommendation.

We didn't stay here, but they were kind enough to check our luggage while we waited for a rental car pickup.

The room was nice and it had a great view! My rating is lower because I called the entire week after I stayed and left messages with lost and found and no one called me back for the entire week. Guess my bracelet is found, just not by me.

Great suites for a good price. Room service is excellent, and the food was enjoyable. Not for families, I would say it's more catered to business professionals.

We stayed for 3 nights and we're very happy with our room. The double room was clean, we could not hear any neighbours and the empty fridge came in very handy.

My husband and I stood here for our Anniversary. The room was on the 12th floor with an amazing view of the city, space to entertain guests and close to many restaurants. Breakfast was buffet style and the service was phenomenal. Definitely will stay here again when visiting Downtown Orlando.

Such bad experience with those guy who talked with me unfriendly and treat me like a foreigner . The guy who picked up my phone call really talked in weird way without any respecting. I strongly felt uncomfortable with them.

The crowne plaza is a great location since its right outside downtown Orlando. However, the current construction for the I4 makes it a little difficult to get too. The valet and staff are nice and welcoming. My only issue is with their housekeepers. I left my silver necklace from Kay jewelry and when I returned the housekeeper who cleaned my room claimed she did not see it and I m 100% positive she stole it. The hotel managers and staff were not willing to help and told me to file a police report because they haven t properly logged anything in their lost and found since July 8th. I will never stay their again and I will be filing a police report.

For the night of October 31st we stayed at your hotel. We all work in customer service so when we found a sock and a cigarret bud in the room we decided to overlook it since we were just going to sleep for a few hours after hanging out downtown. We get back to the room and brought food back and the microwave doesn't work. Sorry but too many things gone wrong. When we called you sent security up to check the microwave and at the end we couldn't warm up our food, we didn't get options, it was an inconvenience all around. We travel a lot and can tell you that this by far has been the worst experience ever.

My wife and I decided on the hotel spontaneously and were unfortunately very dissatisfied. The only positive thing to be mentioned were the friendly service staff in the restaurant. We were unlucky to have an extended family across from us and due to the poor building fabric we were inevitably kept awake
- The room is getting old
- Bed very uncomfortable
- Reception staff very sober and not very friendly
- Despite the construction site and difficult access to the hotel, fee-based parking space management
All in all, not worthy of being allowed to adorn yourself with 4 stars. Nothing special.

So I basically came to visit a friend that was in from out of town at this hotel soon as I walk into the lobby I realized and so will you that this is just not your ordinary Hotel this place is absolutely beautiful there's this great water feature right in the middle of the lobby wish for me an aquarium lover was something that really caught my attention the rooms that my friends have stayed in we're all so large and nice as well as well put together in terms of location of the bathroom as well to kick in in an exception I'm not exactly sure what it cost to stay there but I would say at least give it a shot maybe maybe just a frightened sorry basically came to visit a friend that was in from out of town and this hotel walking to the lobby I realize and so will you either this is just not your ordinary hotel this place is absolutely beautiful there's this great water feature right in the middle of the lobby was for me on aquarium lover was something that really caught my attention the rooms that my friends had stayed in we're also large and nice as well as well put together in terms of location of the bathroom as well you kicked in it and excetera I would say at least give it a shot

It s a safe choice for an affordable stay during a quick business trip. The breakfast wasn t the best and the air conditioner kicking in and out all night made for restless sleep.

The staff was just sort of mulling around the reception area and valet desk. It felt a bit odd.
