Crowne Plaza Liverpool City Centre Review

The minute we walked in and checked in the staff was very accommodating. I had to switch to a double bed as well as reserve a room for a friend. They made everything seamless which was great for our short stay. The gym and spa were AWESOME. Definitely made the stay worth wild!

Went for a conference and facilities weren't great. Lots of feedback over speakers and chairs were pretty nasty!

A warm welcome from friendly staff. The room was clean and tidy, with complimentary water, tea,coffee and biscuits. All expected bathroom provision were available, towels, soap, shampoo, shower cap etc. The hotel lobby and general seating were light airy environments. At breakfast a range of fruit juices, cereals, breads, fruit and yoghurt were available. The cooked breakfast was excellent with bacon, three types of sausage, fried and scrambled egg, fried bread, mushrooms, beans, tinned and grilled halves of tomatoes, black pudding available on a self service basis. The location was ideal for a short walk to the Albert Docks and the centre of Liverpool and all it has to offer. We would definitely use again and thoroughly recommend.

Poor in room entertainment, food and you have to pay for parking.

Fantastic stay. When checking in (can t remember the receptionists name) but was brilliant. The hotel is lovely and clean. My room was a good size and clean although the bathroom was dated compared to the rest of the room but functional nonetheless. Food at the hotel I thought was on the slightly on the expensive but was a good portion size and tasty. Check out was a quick and easy process. Throughout the stay COVID measures remained at a high level throughout

Nice location, comfortable beds, clean room, no minibar, good breakfast, great service, ok health area, bad changing rooms, especially the family one... which is the disabled toilet area. Nice staff in all areas very helpful and organised.

Used the gym and pool at this hotel staff helpful but changing rooms not great and could do with more regular cleaning, the pool water temperature was a bit too hot can get busy when kids are off school I think and it s not a massive pool. Gym good overlooking river and do lots of classes. Just sort the changing rooms out and stop letting people shave in them.

Room was very nice, staff were great, breakfast was fine. Bathroom was perhaps a little small and no way to open the window, but a great night there nonetheless.

Lovely hotel, really spacious well equipped room, located within walking distance of all facilities. The staff were really helpful and couldn't do more for us, I will be staying here again.

Beautiful hotel and very handy for everything in the city but for us it was all the staff that made our holiday.They were so helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for us.would definitely stay at this hotel again

Excellent hotel, clean, large rooms, impeccable service.

I love this hotel. Staff are nice, gym is average but useful and pool facilities are good. Additionally, it's in a really good location.

We went to the restaurant straight after the Liverpool game. We ordered before we had even arrived at the restaurant and still had to wait 30 minutes. Currently sitting at the table and the food still hasn't arrived. We're a group of 20, and at this point there's only 10 of us left because the other 10 decided they'd be better off just going to sleep than continue waiting. The place looks severely understaffed. Told myself I would wait till 8:45 for the food (45 minutes) and its 8:40 right now. We are all literally falling asleep waiting for the food

Edit: we finally got the food. i asked for take away and they refused. Their excuse was something about being a three course meal. not even relevant. Thought for the half of us already in our rooms we could at least take it away. Nope

This place is no better than a premier inn but 3 times higher in price. I am very underwhelmed with the crowne Plaza. We had to change rooms due housekeeping overlooking floors, bath and hairs that were not mine on the furniture. Still not impressed. I will never stay in a Crowne Plaza again.

A well located hotel, close to an array of restaurants and bars. Rooms are in need of a refurbishment however gym and pool area is satisfactory. I wouldn t be in a rush but pleasant enough.

We have stayed here twice. Very clean hotel. Food and staff are great. There was a 12 month gap between our stays. When we returned the second time, there were 2 brownies in our room with a welcome back note next to them. I was gobsmacked they took the effort. Highly recommended hotel.

Amazing hotel, staff so attentive, rooms high standard as are all facilities.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean and we even got upgraded free of charge to a room with a view of the Albert dock. Breakfast was lovely and a great choice-and available until 11am!! Spa facilities were great and not well advertised on the website.Great location for both the Albert dock and Liverpool one! 100% will return.

Clean, friendly staff, good facilities, spacious quiet bedrooms

They have a great coffee shop, you can enjoy drinking your cup of tea or coffee in a quiet space. Not like others coffee places where a lot of noise. Good location for business meeting.

Had the pleasure of performing at a wedding here, fabulous place to stay and work in the centre of this beautiful city.

They look after you so well everyone is so friendly

I was there for a morning event. The venue was comfortable and served a nice range of breakfast snacks, hot drinks and fruit juices.

The room was lovely, so quiet despite overlooking the Strand and the bed was very comfortable. Heating was an issue requiring a early hours call to reception to get a fan.

I can't comment on the food personally, I didn't eat but my girlfriend ordered a wrap which was apparently mediocre. I did note that Afternoon Tea was on the menu in the room, but when I enquired about booking it I was told in no uncertain terms that 24 hours notice was required with no possibility of leeway or sign of this on the menu.

I would stay again, but I know to temper my expectations.

Friendly staff and decent food. Good location on Princes Dock near Albert Dock. Room is comfortable. Shower operation initially unfamthomable.

Staff is very nice and helpful, wifi is alright, rooms are pretty comfortable, but the bathrooms are way to cramped and the water pressure is horrendous. Great location on the water next to many good restaurants.

Excellent location. Staff very friendly and couldn't do enough. Doorman/concierge, Frank was an angel. He helped me with all of my luggage when I was trying to check in with 2 very tired/sleepy girls. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for you help.
