Crowne Plaza Key West-La Concha, Remington Hotels Review

I cannot say enough about my experience with LaConcha hotel. My best friends were scheduled to come for their honeymoon. Due to their wedding being canceled, I wanted to make it an extra special trip for them. I contacted the hotel to get something set up and Lilly assured me instantly that she could make it special (and that she did!!!!)
She went above and beyond to write a handwritten card, pick up chocolate covered strawberries from an outside store, and even included a bottle of champagne. It was the kindest and easiest experience I have literally ever had. Thank you so much Lilly for being so helpful and amazing!

Most cramped room I've Ever been in. You have to straddle over toilet to open and close the bathroom door, the showers were nice though. You have to turn sideways to walk between bed and refrigerator/ TV console, and the windows were filthy , you could barely see out of them.

Our Favorite for Key West, location and balcony are without equal in Key West. Having a second floor balcony was one of the highlights of our stay. We loved sitting out and watching all the activity going by. Some amenities till locked down due to Covid Restrictions

We booked 2 rooms in Key West at the Crown Plaza on Duval St through Tripadvisor Plus 2 months in advance. They immediately charged my card for the full stay plus a $99 tripadvisor plus fee. When contracting them to request rooms with 2 beds they told us our reservations aren't being honored. 3 weeks before our travel date they offered us rooms at a lodge a mile from Duval St with poor reviews. We stated this was unacceptable and were then offered a refund instead of other options, essentially take it or leave it. Keep in mind their are still rooms available at the Crown Plaza that are now 3x what they had charged us. They simply refused to honor our reservation so they could get more money for the rooms. After countless hours on the phone and emails we are now stuck booking elsewhere for a lot more money. This was by far the worst customer service experience that I have ever encountered.

Nice . Rooms are clean & spacious!! The front desk person at the check in, was extremely helpful & friendly. We checked in on April 3 after 11:30 pm, she had a foreign accent, blondish hair. My husband commended her for being so helpful because we checked other hotels & no one was helpful at all until we checked in to the Crown Plaza. It was a last minute reservation.

Stayed here multiple times. Best location in Key West if you want to be able to walk to all the popular spots. Some rooms are small so be careful when booking.

Services are limited post-pandemic. This is a "historic" type hotel, repairs look to be underway still. Pool area is small but bartender was pretty good. Great location for staying "downtown".

The rooms booked were adequate, although the king size room had only a shower, whereas the double room booked had tub/shower. The couch in my room was maybe 20 years old. Cushion would not support a person. The only use was to line up luggage on it.

The biggest disappointment was not being told that a Destination Fee would be required per room. At check in I was asked for credit card only for 'incidentals'. At checkout, a $40/day/room fee was added(+tax). I complained and clerk said, "that's how we do it".NO mention that parking on site was not included in rates, although my hotel voucher stated that 'Rates are inclusive of Destination fee. Completely neglected and misleading information.

The lobby makes you think the rooms are really updated and modern.. They aren't it is dated but I think they are charming. Could use a little face-lift and the bathrooms are soooo small. All and all a great stay
