Security, policy s. Terrible. Avoid hospital at all cost. If you have a family member that s is in a life and death situation. The security won t let you in and one visitor per day from 2pm-6pm. Security guards customer service reminds me of McDonald s drive thru. Medical staff attitude after COVID have a entilitled feel and forget there to serve and help others. There are some great staff and security, but outnumbered by bad ones. They need to change policy. Probably rather die than deal with New York State and hospital politics. That s how bad it is.

My daughter was brought by ambulance to the ER for chest pain, weakness, left arm tingling and feeling that she couldn t breathe . Any time she tried to stand she would start shaking uncontrollably and almost faint. ER nurse with red hair and pregnant named Beth was my daughters nurse . Extremely rude, zero compassion and not even trying to explain herself with the least bit of understanding , without listening to her patient.
My daughter was very scared has been ill for several months with no answers as to what is wrong. We tried to explain
to her but she had her agenda and was not the least bit kind , and did not even try to gently explain why she needed my daughter to do what she was asking.
When asked for a refill on water she responded get it from the sink in her room , the same place we were told to leave her urine sample. It is abundantly clear she is in the wrong line of work. Nurse Ratchett ring a bell. I work in a medical office as front desk supervisor and I assure you, I realize you have to recognize when you need to be more gentle with some scared, worried patients looking to you for help. Open your eyes snd ears Beth or get out of medical field.

I went to the hospital with Covid in January. After spending several hours there they sent me home with no resolution. Everything worsened and I ended up back there two days later. Again they did absolutely nothing to help me. Here we are five months later and I m still getting bills from them from doctors that never even came to see me. Physician assistants that never even came to see me. I would grin and bear it if they were remotely useful, but after two visits with no help at all, I am beyond irritated to keep getting bills from doctors that I never even got to see. They are money hungry and incompetent. Don t waste your time.

I ve gone to this hospital quite a few times for different reasons and each time I went I had a different experience. Some visits were great and some were not so great. I do have to say that I did have surgery there one time and the staff in the PACU and the staff that took care of me for a few days after I had the surgery were fantastic! The ER department is a little bit iffy though. Most of the nurses were very kind, but a few we re just a little bit rude. Other than that this is a good hospital!

please do not take your loved one to this hospital they told my family there was nothing that they could do for my brother because of stage 4 cancer of the lung he had two strokes on the left and right side when i visited him there was no medical chart for me to view and it took the doctor more than 45 minutes to get to his room thank god my brother is home and for now is doing very good they must hire low class staff because the atmosphere was very unprofessional.

My daughter and son-in-law had a horrible trauma with delivering their still born daughter but the labor and delivery staff were outstanding in their comfort, care and compassion for my family. It s actually emotional for us talking about how wonderful these caregivers are to their patients. My daughter was literally going thru hell and they were ALWAYS uplifting her and encouraging her and most importantly giving her first class medical care. When Penny was delivered they gave her the kind of care and love we would give her. Their respect for her little body and my families empathy were so incredibly honorable and welcomed. We CANNOT give them enough praise or thanks.

My wife and I recently delivered out first baby at Crouse Hospital. The experience with Dr, Bartol and Melissa (our Nurse)- from start to finish - was extraordinary. They was direct, firm, empathetic, kind, encouraging, and an incredible advocate. The overall journey with them was better than we could have imagined. My wife and I cold not give them a higher recommendation - especially as first time parents.

After we had our first kid here, we decided to have the second here too. Excellent nursing staff and the pediatrics division is wonderful.
My wife and I are thankful for this hospital. We are especially grateful for Nurse. Angela Quirino who was extremely helpful explaining every single detail to us, and she is one of the reasons that made us traveling a long journey from NY city to Syracuse just to have the baby delivered here but worth it for sure.
Thank you all for three days of peace inside the hospital and i wish you all bright future.
