Bait and switch indeed ad. Was looking for a stable position and turned out to be a door to door sales job with low base pay so you have to make up your compensation with commissions. I hate having my time wasted and my hopes brought about an interview for a real job just to be pitched a door to door sales job.
I think that Crosstown is a truly special company in that I ve been able to truly learn a lot and achieve things I never imagined I would have been able to in my time here. Crosstown truly has unlimited upward mobility in that all promotions are purely based in merit and while the work at times can be hard I ve also always found it to be rewarding and worthwhile. I ve developed great friendships and camaraderie with the staff and look forward to coming in to work everyday.
I love the work ethic and drive the leaders, owners, and the administrative staff all, which makes it so energizing to be under the same roof. Co-workers have a hungry mindset for growth and entrepreneurship, which I highly value. My owner is someone of high caliber and someone you can easily talk to and grow with. Have more role-play scenarios during training and keep doing this on a regular basis to enforce mastering in all types of situations. I'm very happy with my management, they are all high-quality people with a strong desire for success for everyone.

I live in Florida, in a city called DeLand. I was approached by a young man carrying gift bags one day, and he gave me a bag, but wanted $ for the soap in the bag. At the time, I wasn't carrying any cash, but he let me have the gift bag, including the soap. The young man was lovely. I have no issue with him. HOWEVER, the problem is, I'm unable to order any of the products that were in the bag. My husband absolutely loves the soap. When trying to place an order, the message I get is that the website is unable to take any payments. Upon further investigation, there are offers to join Brookburg as a brand ambassador or to join the marketing team. It was right then that I realized this is a pyramid scheme. On Google Maps, the Brookburg brick and mortar location is a front for another business. All I wanted to do was purchase items that were in the aforementioned gift bag. The spiel the young man gave made it seem like Brookburg was a legitimate makeup/beauty care company. I now see that's just not the case. The other reviews for the business at this location are all eerily similar. It seems as if the people leaving the reviews were paid to do so. So, for anyone who takes the time to read my review, BEWARE! It's painfully obvious that this is a pyramid scheme and operations such as this will scam you, your friends, and your family out of a lot of money.

The resources available to employees are great, and offers a range of clients and skills. The company promotes great life skills, like meeting new people, leadership presence, communication skills, managing businesses, and are fantastic about training their people.

Work this business hard for one year, leave with a real world mba and a profitable business in your hand. Not to mention wonderful people who will fight along side you to succeed for years to come. Amazing at creating company culture, and transforming the workplace environment into a comfortable family setting.
Came here for an interview for a "stable position" listed on a job app. Arrived and the position turned out to be door to door customer service sales based on aggregated neighborhood data with low base pay and mostly commission. Very misleading in intention but I gave ot two stars only because they have you cross sell Verizon plans and solar energy plans with the "promise" of making over $100 a referral if you close a sale, If that's your thing , then it may work out for you. Didn't stick around to entertain the offer. I'm not too crazy about bait and switch employment titles especially in this time where people are looking for stable work that doesn't involve making commission to make ends meet. Practice what you preach and promise!, they would be better off advertising that they are a marketing company instead of baiting interviewers.
Honestly, I got a sketchy feel for it. I spoke to someone on the phone who offered me an interview for a fairly high paying position. Then, I reported to the location for an interview for that position, and they interviewed me for a completely unrelated one. When I got done with the interview, they immediately accepted me and invited me back for a second round. I just left and never came back.
On the plus side, at least their office and waiting area was pretty.

The company environment is so nice and friendly, anyone you talk to will gladly have a conversation with you. Nothing that I can think of is a major con for the company. I think that during the distro phase the AM's or managers should go to the field with a Distro's often to educate them more on the job.

The atmosphere in this company is a quality product in itself. Learning to create something like this is an asset to any organization. The transparency that leadership brings to work every day is both humbling and empowering. The mentality that leaders bring to work every day allows for newer hires to develop a high level of motivation and inspiration for their future growth in the company.
