Even when the weather is not ideal, at times (rain, rough seas) The captain, staff and crew made us feel safe. They do their job well and are very efficient.

Overall a pleasant trip, though with a few hiccups. Though reserved nearly two months in advance, only a few days before sailing one of my trips was cancelled (though fully refunded). When loading the cars, staff direct you into lanes and zipper-stack you into the ferry, but one employee was signalling like a game of charades and nobody knew what she wanted, which proved inefficient. Besides that, smooth sailing with Shock Top in hand. Seating on lower and upper decks, either inside or on deck. Though you see some masked 'tards seated al fresco on a moving sunlit ferry, the crew does not hassle you about wearing the diapers. Safety protocols are visible, which is reassuring.

This is my first time on Cross Sound Ferry. However, I have taken my car on other ones and never wanted to experience it again. But my husband did not want to take the long drive to Long Island. Thank you to all the staff at Cross Sound Ferry for your courtesy, professionalism, and making the trip smooth and flawless.

Took a ferry from Green Point NY to New London CT. Very easy reservation process. Car and 2 passengers cost around 80$. Very smooth sailing took about 1h20 minutes. Inside the boat lounge and bar. Very clean bathrooms. Overall experience was very positive and relaxing

First time in a ferry, I enjoyed the ride, amazing views, great food inside, and a quick way to go to Connecticut from Long Island.
