The hotel is very well presented, with a very large and inviting entrance. Our room was very large, however, looking at it more closely, it lacked some maintenance: Wallpaper a little low-cut, mold in the shower tray area and finally the sink was leaking water. The breakfast is very abundant and varied. The staff all very kind. It is not very close to the center: 20/30 min on foot

Pros:

Pros:
-Nice location
-On premises bar and full food service.
-Decently priced
-Concierge was extremely helpful and gave us tips about Dublin

Con:
-Beds and pillows are a bit uncomfortable
-Front desk staff wasnt that helpful at times.
-Bar staff wasnt quite familiar with a whiskey sour lol. Not a biggy though
-Overcharged 100 during my stay. Still disputing charges as 8 days later.

Very very nice hotel! Stayed with my family in a nice and big room. Really good breakfast! The staff give good service and the hotel feels luxury ! A bit outside the city center but it doesn't matter because then you "need to" go to the city center and automatically experience the areas in between.
If you are going to Dublin make reservations at the Croke Park Hotel.

This hotel is far from downtown however right across the street from croke park stadium. The rooms are large but slightly dated with an old tv and beds that aren't the most pleasant. There is a nice gym and bar area. The hotel is nice enough however the area is not the most desirable.

I've come to stay many times now at Croke Park, mostly because it gets the basics right and is most practical for my needs when staying in Dublin for business.

The hotel pretends to be 4*, but has the amenities of a 3* hotel. Bedding is slightly above average for Ireland, which means just one notch above awful.
Rooms are generally quiet which allows to sleep with the window cracked open.
Never had an issue with cleanliness.

Breakfast buffet is decent, and trademark overcooked irish omelettes are available on order. Not the last word in refinement though.
Same for the restaurant, whose cuisine ambitions to be refined but sometimes fails to deliver on the basics.
Internet is good throughout the property.

If you need to stay in the area and have business at Eastpoint, it is one of the better choices available, but do not expect the experience of a lifetime.

Clean, comfortable, friendly service. Huge TV for sport in the bar. Directly opposite the entrance to Croke Park - on match days it must be great fun. Gym is ok, a few machines, treadmills, some weights but only one weight bench. Not the hotel's fault but traffic to/from the city centre is a nightmare, we chose the 30 mins walk a few times instead.

Mixed experience. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. Gym was small but well kitted out and tidy. Staff were lovely and friendly. Little bit further out of town than I would have liked but it was a quiet area and there were some nice food places close by. The 3 stars are because for some reason every experience we had of eating at the Hotel was a bit of a disaster. First morning was after the Dublin marathon and a bank holiday so could understand why it was busy and a bit chaotic eating breakfast in the bar. Second morning it was quiet but for some reason still as disorganised. Had to finally ask someone for coffee and ask a couple of times for toast before we got any. Tried the bar for food in the evening and ended up waiting for almost an hour for our food to arrive. Final morning ate breakfast in the restaurant which was better as at least I was offered coffee straight away but we ordered 3 lots of pancakes and only 2 arrived. Shame because the food service let down what was otherwise an enjoyable stay.

Love the room! They prepared a special treat for my boyfriend and I for our anniversary. <3 Thank you!

The staff are extremely friendly! Though it takes 15-20 mins to walk from the city back to the hotel, it was still worth it cause the weather was nice. Definitely will check it out again if we ever go back to Dublin!
