Croissanterie De Paneterie Review

Croissant + Co is the best pastry shop around! Their food is not only authentic to French cuisine, but it is a prime example of how delicious French food is. I've tried several items from the shop and have never been disappointed. Be sure to get there early for a peach and pear croissant... those are to die for! I am a loyal fan of Croissant + Co. Once you try it, you will be too!

I stopped at that place while visiting Historic Downtown Venice with the family. It was steaming with activities. The owners are from France and the pastries are authentically French. You can either sit down or order to go. We did the latter. The pastries were delicious and freshly made. The service was outstanding and the place squeaky clean. Next time I visit Venice, I'll make sure to drop by again.

One of the best bakeries in Sarasota county.(In downtown Venice) Always packed, especially during the winter season, so get there early.

The pastries were very good. Nice little place. Prices were a little expensive but at least it was good quality

Omg where do I start with this place !! It is hands down THE BEST French pastries and goat cheese croissant I have tasted in a while!! It s crust is flaky, buttery, and soooo fresh it s incredible... If they had mimosas I literally would be here every single Saturday! But the food is definitely up there as best I ve had and more then makes up for it :). They also carry these great little French puffy sugary treats called chouquette you have to try them they re the best!! I don t think I ve ever had anything I don t like. I make the trip from Sarasota jut to come here. Someone told me about this place and it has not disappointed me thank you croissants and co for being here !!

Went in this morning to purchase pastries stood at counter waiting 5 minutes one person was walking around on the phone quoting the menu looked at me but that was it. I decided to leave and no one tried to stop and help me. VERY disappointed with attitude and business may no return . Customer service is the key to success they need training.
The product is wonderful but if no one serves it how can we enjoy it.

Fabulous croissants which you can have for your sandwich. I had the salmon on it and it was great.

Wow, this place is authentic. The pastries here resemble exactly what you would find in a cafe in Paris. There are lots of other goodies as well, plenty to go back and sample at another time. It was pretty full in there, so we grabbed and go.

Tried this place for the first time today and thought it was great. The croissants were amazing, we tried chocolate and regular and both were extremely good. The prices were on the high side but not extremely high. The food looked good but we didn t try it. We would definitely go here again.

Croissant & Co has wonderful products and friendly, caring, efficient, employees. I enjoy eating their offerings, AND have found they go the extra mile on gifts. In early July, I purchased 4 gift boxes to provide some treats for an entire medical office of 35 people. Lynn & Gladys worked with me to put together custom boxes for different locations within the facility. I inquired if they would deliver to the nearby office on the island. YES! The recipients appreciated my thought & loved Croissant & Co's goodies. My thanks to them.

Is it just me or are these the best croissants on the East coast. I have had pastries from Florida to Maine....none beat this place!

Nobody can explain my love for this place when we went to Venice last year we came hear everyday of our trip and never got sick of it...we love it so much!! Get the almond croissant it's the best thing you will ever eat! I recommend this place and I give it a 100 star rating! GO HERE ITS THE BEST PLACE EVER!!

Superb pastries, wonderfully crusty baguette..and delicious coffee. This lovely bakery made our visit to Venice complete.Simply wonderful!!

Can't find anything like it outside of the Ile de France

Have lunch here all the time. It's always delicious. The croissants, all kinds are fabulous as well as the cookies & bread. Take new friends here & they love it too.

Bought several yummy desserts for our family Christmas dinner. The fruit tart cake was delicious! The chocolate mousse cake is good. The individual personalized cookies were a huge hit & yummy too! Amazing bakery. It is worth the drive from Bradenton for us!

My first visit. I had the spinach and salmon quiche with carmalized onions atop of quiche. Staff and food the best. l will make this a usual place to dine.

Cute little place, but as usual in Venice it is a little pricey. If going for breakfast, get here early. It is packed by 8:30.

Me and my boyfriend were passing by Venice, FL. From Fort Lauderdale. We are foodies at heart . And not to say my boyfriend is French. We loved it. I wanted to order bunch of croissants to take home. I wish this was in South Florida. I certainly will have to drive the 3 hours just to come here.

Me new favorite cafe in Venice! Everyone is friendly and the pastries are to die for- especially the chocolate cake and apricot croissants. I will return often.

Pro: excellent pastries and coffee

Con: no social distancing set up by the shop owners, they should be shut down by the city. Workers were rude, yelling at customers to stand apart despite customers being 6ft apart, instead of asking or setting up a system. Treat people with kindness, we are all in this together. Not worth the bad attitude.

Great homemade pastries, beautiful decor, wonderful atmosphere. I can go on and on. If you are in the downtown Venice area, make sure you visit this place.

Oh my, if you're looking for a good cup of black coffee, this is the place. The pastry selection is great, but wow that cup of black coffee. Try it!

OMG DELICIOUS! The croissant salmon sandwich was so unusual melt in your mouth to die for! Love all the colorful paintings and vibrant happy service with a smile. If you're in Venice, definitely take time to check it out!

Great place, but don't appreciate treating people like children with reminding people who have masks on to stay 6 feet apart when they are 6 feet apart.

I am only giving this establishment a 5 star rating because higher ratings are not available. The room is delightful. The service was impeccable. And . . . the food was ethereal.

This is a cute little place that we eat at when we are feeling the need for something different. Very yummy food. Everything is decadent at a great price. When you are feeling a bit fancy and need some culture, stop in here. Love it!

The most awsome croissants and pastires. Just picked up our Christmas eve order , much better system for pick ups this year Thank you. I noted that some people just don't have the Holiday spirit and expect everyday service on the busiest day of the year. Give it a little slack. The owners work 20 hour shifts to make our orders happen. Place your order on time. Know what you want . Order it. And don't do add ons. That way you will ne happy with the service. Just as those of us who did that were. We will be thinking of the owners and their dedication to their customers as we don't have to cook and are enjoying such wonderful food. Happy Holidays..

A very pretty place downtown Venice with DELICIOUS authentic French goodies: sandwiches, pastries, quiches, etc. Our favorite sandwich is the country pate on a baguette, the perfect lunch for a picnic.

Attempted to support local today but along with 3 other people was whistled at and told to get out and form a line outside.

Now I get the need for social distancing, but there is a wrong way and a polite right way to ask people to adhere to a specific stores policy.

After being whistled at and told to leave, we went around the corner to Island Coffee where the employees were amazing. Even offered to bring water for my dog to the outside seating area.

My family and I will continue to try to support local, but only if we are at least treated respectfully!!!!
