Crofton Convalescent Center Review

I call to talk to my grandmother multiple times who had a stroke and am forwarded to the room, no one answers. I return to the desk where I am forwarded to the nursing station where they take care of my grandmother and am on the phone for roughly fifteen minutes. Then forwarded back to the main desk, then again to the nursing station where I am told an employee will be there to answer the phone. The call goes unanswered again.The total time I am on the phone is roughly thirty minutes and I still was unable to talk to her. I asked the main desk call administrator for the contact information of the Director of Nursing and the nurses working the station. After some hesitance he gave me the names I was inquiring. This was not the first time this had happened either, but the most recent.

The care my mother received was second to none. Thanks to Crofton Care I was able to get her home safe and she continues to improve every day. I am so happy we chose Crofton Care.

The day shift is very attentive. But if you call after 4PM no one will answer the phone.

My mother called me from her cell when her oxygen alarm went off. She pushed her button but no one came. I called repeatedly from 8:43 PM until 9;10 PM and no one answered. I am going to call 911 at this point.

In 4 days since her admission, this is status quo. Don t take your loved ones here.

Before Covid, I was very pleased with Crofton Care and Rehab, however, I haven't been able to see my mother since March 11 and I am broken hearted. I was told the Health Department gave the order for no visitors, which was supposed to protect the residents from the virus, but the virus still got in through the staff. Many residents, including my mother, tested positive and Mom was kept in the Covid Unit for 16 days. She is back in her room now but has many disabilities that were not present before she was put in the Covid Unit. I hope and Pray she will recover.

My wonderful Mother spent just under 2 years at Crofton Care and Rehabilitation Center. The staff from the front desk, nurses station and activites were SUPERB!!! The care that was provided to my Mom was second to none and I always knew that Mom was in GREAT hands with the folks at CCRC.
I truly appreciate the "can-do" mantra of everyone at CCRC ...especially during these difficult times....including Activities ensuring our Zoom video calls with Mom and the flexibility they had with scheduling....words cannot truly express how grateful my entire family is for what you did and how well you took care of our Mother.

During COVID-19 family restrictions, I was not able to visit my mom from 03/12/20 through 06/18/20. She died on 06/19/20.
The staff was so wonderful to my mom caring for her in the absence of her family. They arranged face time calls, made sure her cell phone was always charged and ready to use. The nursing staff kept in touch with me when there were procedures done, reports, and when she needed her personal items.
The Activities Unit went above and beyond in helping me with facetime calls, delivering packages, and my moms cell phone.
The nursing staff and the aides made my mom feel like she was family when her real family could not see her.
Crofton Care is a great facility and have very caring staff

I am currently in Crofton Care and Rehab Center, and l will tell you... I am in the right place...again. l was here two years ago recovering from spinal fusion surgery and reverse should replacement surgery, at the be same time, and now here for pre-op PT and OT for a second spinal fusion. I have been in two other Rehab facilities, and l speak the truth. There is not perfection in any recovery. But if want good care and professional health services... Come Here. You will recover, and leave with much gratitude.

Crofton Care has been a great facility to care for my mother. We appreciate the care and attention that the staff does for her and her needs. They have always been responsive to our calls and visits. Thank you Crofton Care and Rehab.

We have been missing my mother-in-law, who has been in Crofton Care and Rehabilitation (Davidsonville)for three years. We haven t been able to have a lot of contact during the pandemic. She is visually impaired and has hearing problems. Yesterday, the director of activities, Amber, arranged for us to have a zoom call. Although, it was a bit difficult for my mother-in-law, we managed to get her to see three generations in a zoom call. Amber had a great assistant, named Kim, who helped us with the car and was very patient! We are so grateful for their help!

I found the staff was very kind and professional . My first time in rehab and I felt they went over and above to make me feel comfortable. The meals were good, and my preferences were noted. There were a couple meals that were not appealing, and in those cases, they actually made something else just for me, I was impressed by the careful monitoring of my progress and I really felt cared for. Kudos to everyone .
