Crescent builds

Crescent Builds has been a fantastic partner for us. Their team in Seattle is incredibly attentive to detail and consistently delivers top-quality results. We really appreciated their proactive communication throughout the entire process, which made the collaboration smooth and stress-free.

Crescent Builds made what was supposed to be a scary first-time remodel experience actually smooth. Coming from friends who had nightmare stories, I was skeptical, but the team in Seattle proved me wrong. They treated us like partners, respecting our vision while guiding us through every step. Even with pandemic-related price hikes and some unexpected curveballs, they kept the project on track. It wasn’t cheap, but the quality justifies the cost. If you want a job done right the first time, these are the people to call. Highly recommended.

I’ve partnered with Crescent Builds on four residential projects over the past twelve years, covering everything from major renovations to smaller repairs and exterior work right here in Seattle. What really stands out is their top-notch project management and communication. Even when unexpected issues popped up due to the age of our home or coordination glitches with subcontractors, the team was always prompt in providing updates and outlining the next steps. Their responsiveness during critical moments—like when we were left without a roof for a bit—made the slightly higher price tag completely worthwhile. The craftsmanship has consistently been excellent, and when minor defects did appear after completion, they took immediate responsibility and fixed them. I’ve already referred Crescent to numerous friends and neighbors in the area.

I would steer clear of Crescent Builds in Seattle. They completely botched the design phase, leaving us to cover thousands of dollars in extra costs for bad measurements and unsuitable material choices. The final bid jumped nearly 46% over the high end of their own feasibility study quote, with no changes to the scope even though we had provided most selections beforehand. They didn’t take enough responsibility for wasting our time and money, especially given how clearly they missed their own budget estimates. We ended up hiring another contractor to finish the same straightforward basement project on time and under their initial low estimate, with none of the headaches we faced. It was a messy, expensive experience, so I’d recommend looking elsewhere for design and general contracting services.

My partner for a residential renovation in Seattle, Crescent Builds, delivered a solid result that has us eager to hire them again. Their communication was consistently clear across all project phases, and they genuinely listened to our concerns. I appreciated their transparency regarding construction hurdles and their reliability in keeping their word. Even after the work was finished, they remained responsive to resolve minor quality issues with a set of replacement windows, ensuring we were completely satisfied with the final outcome.

It has been over a decade since Crescent Builds completed our remodel, and they remain our go-to team for ongoing upgrades and maintenance in Seattle. What keeps us coming back is the assurance of efficient, high-quality work. We truly value the lasting, trust-based partnership we have built with them.

I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with August, Emilee, and the rest of the Crescent Builds crew on two separate projects over the last decade. Here is why I hold their Seattle-based firm in such high regard: they bring genuine curiosity and creativity to the table from day one. Their bids are always transparent and thoroughly detailed, leaving no room for confusion. The craftsmanship is evident in the final result, with skilled workers who are not only talented but also a pleasure to have around. What I appreciate most is their reliability; they deliver beautiful, functional spaces with consistent quality, ensuring that there are no unexpected delays, cost overruns, or confusing decisions along the way.

Crescent Builds truly delivered outstanding service during an emergency. We discovered a basement leak at 7 AM on a Saturday, and Ned had it under control within just two hours. Their quick response not only stopped the water but also started the ceiling repair immediately, saving us from further damage. The entire project was completed in under two weeks, with the final touches finished on Christmas Day even though Sam and his team were hoping to rest. While the cost was standard for the industry, their attention to detail and minimal stress made all the difference. Highly recommended for anyone in the Seattle area needing reliable professional service.

Living in Shoreline, WA, I recently worked with Crescent Builds on a major project that included a new back building, an addition, and a full home remodel. While there was a slight delay and minimal extra cost due to factors outside their control, the team kept us in the loop every step of the way, offering clear options to manage the situation. I never felt left in the dark, and I’m grateful that these hiccups were so minor given the scale of the work. The crew at Crescent Builds strikes a perfect balance: they are highly professional yet feel like old friends. Their craftsmanship is exceptional, and the quality of the construction is robust. Communication was constant, detailed, and honest throughout. I want to highlight specific team members who made the difference. Vincent’s attention to detail and his steady hand in managing subcontractors resulted in top-tier workmanship. Ned was incredibly proactive, jumping into tasks to keep us on schedule while also contributing his excellent painting skills. Emilee brought a clear design vision and an almost superhuman ability to keep track of the tiniest details. August led with a customer-first mindset, ensuring that the hardest decision we had to make was simply choosing between lighting fixtures! Working with Skip from Walls & Weeds added an architectural brilliance that truly elevated the design. The entire experience was genuinely enjoyable from start to finish, which is rare for such extensive construction work. I highly recommend Crescent Builds for anyone looking for quality and care in their home improvement projects.
