Nothing special, looks nice from the outside, rooms are old and small. "Kitchenette" was a mini fridge and a toaster size microwave sitting on the floor. The owner Carol was rude. Would not recommend

I have stayed at Creekside numerous times. Carol the owner is like family. The rooms and the facility are clean, well maintained and comfortable. I'll be back there again this summer and I can't wait!

Delightful find after a long day of driving. Enjoyed sitting outside by the brook and just relaxing. Only down side was a creaky mattress yet that leant to the appeal of this motel and laying there and hearing the outdoor nature sounds was balm for the soul.

We have stayed at here twice over the last few weeks and it has been great. We have had very positive visits. Carolyn is great to work with and has been very helpful guiding us to the things that we were looking for in the area. The rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable. Some of the rooms have Jacuzzi tubs which are quite nice. There is plenty of space to sit and relax and watch the creek or read a book. You can also fish right behind the Lodge. There is enough parking for the rooms. There is also an indoor common area is cozy. It is conveniently located close to most everything in Maggie Valley. As you can tell I am a fan and will stay there again and again.

I booked two nights in the king bed room with the jetted tub for my wife's Christmas present and we loved it! The young lady working the desk gave great dining suggestions and options for activities in Maggie Valley and surrounding areas. We loved that we could hear the creek through our closed sliding door, and the fact that it was not a major hotel chain! Our only real issues were the coffee and the bathroom. We both drink coffee every morning, and the in-room coffee was not very good. The bathroom had a tiny sink and very small shower. The jetted tub next to the bed, and in front of the tv, more than made up for that, though. After exploring all day, it was nice to relax in the hot water and watch a little tv! We will definately be coming back!
