Credit River Retirement -Verve Inspired Senior Living Reviews

Currently my parents and my husband's paternal aunt are cared for at Credit River Retirement home. My aunt lived their until passing last year. So I am familiar with assisted living, dementia care, and Independent Living programming and care. As a MSW level hospital social worker I am pretty analytical of services generally but I am comfortable recommending all three levels of care at Credit River. Food is good, programming is lively and they have competent nursing care. Kindness and compassion is evident in each interaction. Adequate staffing You can keep your own family doctor.Note I am not receiving any compensation for this review

Trying to be proactive for my mother I have chosen to visit several retirement residence. Credit River was the one that took the time to take me on a full tour and experience the daily lifestyle. We were fortunate to be there when they had an afternoon of musical entertainment and also another day when they had the Pie in the face event. Everyone was thoroughly enjoying it (including me). There was a very natural flow and casualness once you entered the building! We truly believe this will be the place once the time is right and we thank Jill S for all her attention.

I have had the pleasure of getting to know the Sales Team, Jill and Susan as well as Barb on the front desk over the past several years. The clients I have moved into the residence are very happy with their new homes and have thrived in the interactive, fun and caring environment that the wonderful staff provide. Congratulations on a Great Team and a beautiful, well maintained residence!

We were looking for a place that could accommodate our parents and our aunt and Credit River Retirement has been incredible! We were first impressed with the diligence of the physical assessments prior to acceptance and then impressed by the way the team worked together to accommodate everyone with everything from move in to settling in. It's been 4 months since move in and I think what has impressed me the most is the positive way team members interacts with residents. I've witnessed so many instances of compassion that you would think staff were caring for their own folks. I've also witnessed where a team member interacted with a resident who seemed to be having a really tough day - they immediately recognized the situation, comforted the resident and successfully redirected their attention to a new subject and activity.
The management team also treats residents as if they were their own parents and seem to know all the residents by name! All the staff excel at demonstrating team work and it's easy to see they have each other's back and like each other.
Credit River Retirement Residence puts on some great gala events where it's "all hands on deck"! It doesn't matter if it's in the evening or on weekends - everyone is pitching in! Its an outstanding team!
Four months in, we're very happy to have moved our folks to Credit River Retirement Residence.

The Credit River location was one of the nicest location my parents and I visited. There are a lot of activities to keep them involved and social. My step mother continues to cook and therefore decided to stay where they are but it would have been a great place for them.
The receptionist to our tour guide, were friendly and exceptional.

Everything about Credit River Retirement Residence is 5 star plus! All the staff go above and beyond to assist with all your needs and concerns. My sister lived in a beautiful Independent Suite & then moved to a gorgeous Suite in Assisted Living during her time there. A very special thank you to Jill Somerville (you are the best) and her team (Susan, Kerra, Bobbie & Barb). Thank you for always going that extra mile for my sister & always being there to support me as well. A very special shout out to Paulo DeLa Cruz as well who was always there to assist and work with me on the very best treatment options for my sister. To the nurses, PSW'S, food server's (the food is 5 star plus as well) & cleaners, thank you for all you do!! My sister was treated like family at Credit Rivers Retirement Residence and as a regular, twice a week visitor so was I!!! I miss seeing all of you...thank you again for you incredible service and your wonderful kindness. Big Hugs to all :)

Everyone has been amazing at Credit River! My mother was in crisis and unable to move to LTC due to covid restrictions. Jill, Julie, Shereen and Paulo have been incredibly supportive and accommodating. My mother is now safe and well cared for.

We recently moved my mother into Credit River from Montreal. The staff here has been amazing - extremely supportive and patient as we navigated through the many and ever changing restrictions and regulations in two provinces!

Awesome staff. You made the transition with my Dad from the hospital which would of been difficult enough under normal circumstances, easier with your knowledge and suggestions.

My mom moved into Credit River Retirement Residence in May of 2016 onto the Assisted Living Floor. I was anxious to see how she would adjust but was reassured by a staff member saying "we've got her". She was warmly welcomed by all of the staff and it was heart warming to see how quickly they connected with her. Mom enjoys all of the entertainment and is quick to join into any singalong function. Just recently she had to be hospitalized for 2 months and she returned to the 2nd floor Memory Care floor. She again, was warmly welcomed by the staff and they made a special effort to get to know her make sure she is continually watched over and kept busy especially with art and music. When I visit, I see smiles that I haven't seen before. I can rest easier knowing that she is well taken care of and respected. The staff at Credit River are outstanding.
