Creative Migration is a women-led international arts organization that operates in Los Angeles and Bangkok. The organization's mission is to advance cultural diplomacy through the three pillars of art, public engagement, and sustainability. Creative Migration believes that art can be a powerful tool for social change and aims to create opportunities for artists to engage with communities around the world.
The organization was founded in 2005 by Susannah Tantemsapya, who serves as its Executive Director. Tantemsapya has extensive experience in the arts and has worked with organizations such as the Getty Museum, Sundance Institute, and UCLA's Center for Intercultural Performance.
Creative Migration's work is guided by its core values of diversity, equity, inclusion, collaboration, innovation, sustainability. The organization seeks to create a more just world by promoting cross-cultural understanding through artistic expression.
One of Creative Migration's flagship programs is "The Value of Water," which explores issues related to water scarcity and access around the world.
