Creative Lifestyles Inc. was a rewarding place to work, where I grew and learned a lot. I was able to apply skills learned in my subsequent positions after leaving. I left with long lasting relationships with my former co-workers and regret not keeping in touch with the clients. Towards the end of my employment there was a lot of change in middle management (supervisors) which many came with unprofessional and unfair attitudes. Upper management no matter what will react based off of middle managements complaints and not conduct a thorough investigation. Even after I severed my employment the Director was responsive and supported me through completing my bachelors degree. I often reminisce over my employment there and the good outweighed the bad. During my 5 years there I found it to be a great learning experience and even some of my worst experiences have been better than other agencies I have come in contact. Human Resources at the time was ahead of the time and very diligent in trying to find and provide employees with great benefits which a lot of agencies lack. Biggest CON was the PAY. I left making a little over a dollar more than my starting pay after 5 years. If the same group of ladies are working at Kingsbridge residence and you are not Spanish speaking it can and will be very uncomfortable place to work. I also am having trouble getting a timely response from HR in the distribution of my retirement. I have been trying for over 2 years.

A close friend is having a very unpleasant experience working for them. They have a highly unprofessional, unfair and deceitful management. They don't follow their own company policies. Please avoid working with them as you'd avoid eating poison.

I ve worked here over a year and have had nothing but a good and positive experience especially as it pertains to the (consumers) . I do my best to support them in the best manner as possible and I strive to have a positive attitude and display professionalism daily.
I ve not had to deal with the upper management directly, but I ve heard horrible stories which I pray is not true! Still, the complaints I have is the pay and some of the co-workers. The pay should be more because there s a lot of work to do and literally your held responsible if something happens to the consumers. The coworkers are a whole different story! Some of them come to work being rude, ghetto and are clueless as to what their job entails and some are just plain lazy AF and expect not to do any work at all! And, if you say something to the coworker about doing their JOB and positively interacting with consumers, they get angry, passive and feel they don t have to listen to you because your not the boss or their supervisor. But, if a problem occurs or the work doesn t get done, both you and the lazy SOB get in trouble. Not fair! Still, at the end of the day, my job is to be of assistance to the consumers and look out for their best interests.

Terrible managerial staff and uncaring higher-ups, all seem to be related to each other. Don't seek employment with them if you want to steer clear of an absolutely rotten work experience, I wish I would have known what you know about them now. They really sucked considering they're a Non-profit to help people.

It would be a good place to work if things was organized and people work together. No respect from management unprofessional when dealing with allegations. Unprofessional when working with people no real training to support working on the job. Be mindful of what you say it floats like water and spreads. Over all love working with the clients they are the true motivation of what you do.
